| The Post reports that ”the national unemployment rate fell to 7.7 percent from 7.9 percent, and the nation added 146,000 jobs, not the mere 85,000 that forecasters had expected. . . . The jobless rate dropped in large part because the labor force fell by 350,000, suggesting that people gave up looking for work. The number of people saying they had a job actually fell by 122,000. And the Labor Department revised downward its estimates of job creation in September and October by a combined 49,000 jobs.” One way to get that unemployment rate down, I suppose,

Obama´s primed and willing to see scores of more layoffs in the military contracting business.
A lot of the supposed jobs created from Oct. forward were seasonal hires for Christmas but they act like they´re permanent jobs. When layoffs go back to 400,000 per week after the first of the year,they´ll blame obstinate republicans for it.The emerging new class of low information voters will suck it right up.
If they pass unemployment extensions, they should have to get a drug test once a month to prove employment fitness. If they fail the test,they should have to pay for it.That´ll shrink the pool of check grabbers real quick.

President Obama is succeeding beyond his wildest dreams at bringing this nation to its knees. His second term will be a nightmare for every hard working taxpayer in this country. The takers have won and America has lost big time. When Obama neuters our military we will have a lot more to worry about then lost jobs. It will be our lives that are at stake.

While there´s a lot of blame to go around as Obama heads to a 2nd term and the media licks his boots, the reality is that-- for those who believe in Biblical prophecy unfolding in our times -- America will not be a player in the end times that involve Israel and Armageddon.
I know non-believers will poo poo this, but painful as it may be, God´s providence hasn´t stopped working since Nov. 6th.

Eric Williams does not look like a cunning serial killer. Obama’s not trying to regain Congress, he’s attempting to retain his legacy. Despite the much-reported spin about White House sights being set on retaking control of the House in 2014, it is really aiming at not replaying 2010’s devastating defeat. Obama’s first midterm loss stopped his agenda cold; a 2014 one could hurl it into reverse — and that’s not the way Obama wants to leave office and enter history. Is the White House so cynical to claim they are grasping at victory, when they are really attempting to avoid defeat? What else are they supposed to say?

Over the weekend, I wrote about how the Palestinian Authority blew off John Kerry’s efforts to keep Salam Fayyad in power as Prime Minister. Kerry’s failure, I believe, “demonstrates once again the lack of U.S. influence over the PA” and the futility of our efforts to cause it to make any concessions to Israel. The trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the abortionist charged with killing babies and neglecting women in his care, is now national news. There´s no bigger story on the web. Anderson Cooper covered it thoroughly Friday on CNN. The Washington Post´s executive editor pledged to send a reporter to file dispatches from the Philadelphia courtroom. My contribution, "Why Dr. Kermit Gosnell´s Trial Should Be a Front-Page Story," distilled the Philadelphia grand jury report and argued that those horrific, detailed allegations are thoroughly newsworthy by any reasonable standard. That premise is now conventional wisdom. The trial is likely to remain national news.

Washington is one big magic show. In black tie and tails, the Senate points to the bereaved parents of Newtown, Conn., where 20 children and six adults were shot to death. While the audience is focused on the Newtown horror, senators vote to take up a bill that would do absolutely nothing to avoid such a tragedy. A grateful nation, fooled by what magicians call “misdirection,” applauds like crazy while, in the wings, the National Rifle Association cackles in triumph. The Senate reaches into its top hat and, with appropriate flourish, extracts a bird. We expect a dove.

Fifty years ago today, Martin Luther King Jr. penned one of the most enduring documents of the civil-rights struggle while locked in a jail cell in Birmingham, Ala. His Letter From Birmingham Jail was a clarion call for the right to civil disobedience. Wolf Blitzer took to the airwaves at 5pm Eastern time, about two hours after the twin bombings near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Wolf brought on CNN contributor Tom Fuentes, who didn’t want to ‘speculate’ as to whether this was terrorism, but that if it was, certainly there are a lot of domestic terrorist groups like white supremacists and/or the Aryan Brotherhood. Not helpful. 12 minutes later, former California Congresswoman Jane Harman said, while video streamed of the two different blasts, seconds apart, a block apart, we don’t know as of yet whether this was terrorism. Also not helpful.

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.

In light of the explosions that have rocked Boston on Patriots’ Day, during the city’s annual marathon, NBC reporter Luke Russert took to Twitter to speculate that today’s horrific events could possibly be related to the 1993 government siege on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas — an incident often attached to conversations about “right-wing terrorism” and anti-government violence. “I was at Fenway Park w my dad and @mikebarnicle during Waco which was on Patriots Day in 1993. The trial of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell would seem to have all the elements of a spectacular news story: shocking allegations, horrifying visuals, sympathetic victims. Yet until late last week, much of the national media was silent as testimony about Gosnell’s alleged “house of horrors” abortion clinic rolled out. Much of the media attention outside Philadelphia, in fact, centered on how little media attention the story was receiving outside Philadelphia.

The Saudi Arabian man who is reportedly in police custody following the Boston Marathon bombing was chased and tackled by bystanders shortly after the blast, according to CBS. Senior correspondent John Miller, a former assistant director of the FBI, reported this: There is an individual in custody … he is not free to go.
