Since posters have said pretty much all there is to say and think about this, I will add that I won´t be watching the swearing in, anyway. There´s been way too much ´swearing in ´ my life since 2008.

But, but, but - this is supposed to be the most transparent administration we´ve ever had. Obama is moving even faster than I expected in his quest to take down our beloved country. My heart breaks when I think of what lies ahead for children and grandchildren.

People do things ´in private´ when they need to HIDE these things from the public.
Of course, he can´t vow to uphold the U.S. Constitution. It doesn´ fit the Marxist agenda, which includes removal of all freedoms, including freedom of speech and freedom to bear arms.

For protocol, Barry has to use his real name, whatever it is, to make it official. That´s why Roberts botched it in public in 2009, to do the private swearing in. It looks like we start the next term with the same transparency as we had over the last term: none.

It´s pretty hard to instill pride in the American system on our young when this shenanigans is allowed. It´s the little things. I have a very disillusioned young adult daughter who is and always was in the top 10% of anything she has done, including her military service. Our talks these days are about "why?" mostly. Why do we allow this? Why doesn´t someone do something about it?, etc. I have no real good answers for her and it breaks my heart. When I was at that age it was the Reagan years and my Dad and I spoke well of the people in power. Not so anymore.

Maybe our side could blackmail Roberts too -- force him to put a bug in a dark place during that 2nd swearing in ceremony. Unless this is a planted story to get your goat?

I´m sick of reading characterizations of Justice Roberts as a quisling who is complicit and owned by Obama. The Oath of Office is the Oath of Office -- Obama doesn´t get to write his own. That´s just moonbattery to suggest that he does. #4 makes the point that Obama won´t honor his oath anyway, since he already hasn´t -- he´s already a liar. So what difference would it make to him?

#3 and #8 -- no, it´s not like private wedding vows.

I say keep giving him more rope, as fast as possible.

The press´s fear needs to turn into white hot fury.

Maybe this is a good thing. It should make it easier for every member of the armed services to disobey the unconstitutional orders this administration is so fond of.
