Conservatives are their own worst enemies. We are so quick to create the circling firing squad. When have you ever seen liberals do this? They don´t. Sorry, but this author is part of the problem.

Well, I think it´s mostly that he´s overseeing the demise of the GOP, rather than single-handedly orchestrating it. But he´s doing his best to kill it, don´t misunderstand me. I just think a lot of other folks have had a hand in helping kill it off. Like all those who think the Tea Party and standing for conservative and Constitutional principles are bad things, to be avoided at all costs. :bleaksigh:

John Boehner has the toughest job in Washington and there are those in the party who will not be happy with any move he makes. He has my sympathy and I believe the writer of this piece is being hysterical.

Some are concerned about the survival of the GOP. Others are concerned about the survival of the Constitution. Boehner is in the first category.

Boehner is not alone, but stands as the spokesperson for those that have already killed the GOP. The demise has already occurred, as evidenced in the election. True conservatives, however, will not die because their values are based on deeply rooted principles that cannot be compromised. Until more of the population shares those convictions, the entitlement distributors and their grateful recipients are in charge.

Republicans are the "real" party. They don´t wallow in denial or live to the vote today. That we leave to the democrats.
Republicans have been going to the left, which necessitated the TEA party.
Boehner needs to think:
Is for the Constitution?
Is he for smaller government?
Is he for the individual?
Is he for growth and jobs for all who want to work?
OR
Is he for taxing more, so that Obama can flush it down the sewer with THE most stupid spending bills ever known to man?
Obama is addicted to spending and Boehner and Republicans do not have to enable his bad habit.

Politics is the only job class in thw world where they take, steal if you will, our money, waste it, blame us and demand more...Boehner is a disingenuous liar, or he would have an honest line of work.
Trusting in one man to save everybody and everything died out when George Washington died.
He´s a progressive, doesn´t know the faintest thing about the Constitution of the United States and is poised to sell it all for nothing but empty promises and some "I saved everybody´s bacon, re-elect me next time" photo- ops.
I cannot believe anyone thinks he can be trusted to do aything but what he has done in the past, what they all have done in the past, and that is to stand on our necks.

Boehner is a spineless RINO and he has been dealt a weak hand by 5 million of us not showing up on Nov 6. Is he doing the best he can with cards he has got? Only the future will tell. Those who instantly jump on him have no viable alternatives beside mass political harakiri.

When the Democrat Party left me, I did as Reagan had done and became a Republican. Now the Republican Party has left me. Where to go now? I wonder what Reagan would have done? For the moment, I’ll just park in the Independent column.

If Boehner is not gone in the next congress, and replaced with an articulate and visionary conservative, the GOP is useless. Time for a new party. Maybe the new Bull Moose Party, perfect if a little diesely sounding for Sarah Palin. But leaders should be looking for candidates now. Boehnerism will include changing the laws to make it nearly impossible for the new Bull Moose to qualify.

Second Post. This is the biggest and most self-destructive bunch of bull crap I have ever read. Someone who is not a friend of the Republican Party is standing back and laughing at this ankle-biting, circular firing squad. Shame on you. Let Boehner alone.

I was shocked at Boehner´s comments on revenue increases on "the wealthy." If I thought that this punitive tax increase--which is what it is--would improve the economy, I would be for it. But it won´t! It won´t even make a dent in the deficit and will take more money out of the economy. It´s a job killer and a recession-inducer. I think Boehner needs to go. We need someone with principles.

I´ve voted in every election since I was 18, and for the first time in my life, I´m seriously considering not voting again.

I can´t stand the Dem/Socialist/Communist party, and I´ve come to despise the RINO-led Republicans almost as much because they´re Dem lite. Why bother?

I´m more convinced than ever that the U.S. is going to have to hit a Greece-level crisis before anything is done.

For the past few decades, DemonRATS have leaped to the left, looked back and complained that Repugs are "extremely right." Today, the RNC management and many elected"professional´ politicians stand where the DemonRATS were way back when.

Maybe the demise of the GOP will allow the TEA party--or their equivalent--to rise like a phoenix and bring back adherence to Constitutional principles.

I didn´t leave the party, the RNC betrayed me.

Name one thing Boehner has accomplished....just one. Poor excuse for a leader.
