After a few post-Hurricane Sandy weeks of new jobless claims hitting over 400,000, it looks as though we´ve settled back into the new and accepted normal of new claims landing somewhere in the 360,000 to 390,000 range. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this week saw 370,000 new claims filed. Keep in mind, though, that it´s only in Barack Obama´s America that we´ve learned to celebrate any number under 400,000. We´re nowhere near the point where our economy creates enough jobs to keep up with those lost every week. But because the media will never

Gallups underemployed is at 17.2%. If you look at the main Obama voter groups, 18-29, women and minorities they´re doing the worst. Tomorrows BLS bs unemployment figures should be interesting.

Read em and weep Obamabots. Hope you´re happy with the economy you´ve saddled your children and grandchildren with. For the first time in the history of our country our children can´t expect to have a better quality of life than their parents. And don´t give me any crap about this being Bush´s fault. Zippy has had the reigns for four years now and he has doubled down on stupid, or maybe he just wants to destroy our country. Well, you certainly gave him a big hand with that.

You can´t base your identity on a desire to "help people" if people don´t need your so-called "help". The more hopeless dependents Obama creates, the more his sheeple supporters bask in the smug glow of their own moral superiority.

Unemployment claims came out, and WOW! So even though our economy is down, it´s still up. Or we’re up, but still down. Whatever… it’s all good, because your neighbor pays. And it’s another example of the stupid math liberals use to mask reality. For new readers the sentence above is an example of a device I employ now and again called “sarcasm.” “Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 26,000 to a seasonally adjusted

Where Lois Lerner goes, drama follows. On Wednesday, the former IRS officer again invoked the Fifth before the House Oversight Committee. That precipitated a heated exchange between the committee’s Republican chairman, Darrell Issa, and Democratic ranking member Elijah Cummings, who called the hearings “un-American.” And that spat has become the story. No doubt that is exactly what Cummings had in mind. Because it distracts attention from the substance of the hearings — and from the questions raised by e-mails and public remarks Lois Lerner wrote, received or made when she was IRS Director of Tax Exempt Organizations.
