So, the pols intentionally, knowingly, set up a huge disaster roaring down the road at us. One that would wreck just about everything. Gut the military. Lead to yet another debt downgrade. A huge disaster so hugely bad that, hey, there´s just absolutely n-o-o-o-o possible way ever, no Stanley-Cup-Finals-in-Hell-way, that they´d ever, ever, ever, ever, ever let it get to that.

And which is now a couple weeks of more pointless posturing away.

I´m 68 years old and am finally reaching the point of promising myself to never go to the voting booth again as long as there are only the dhims and dhim-lites to vote for. Both parties make me sick. And especially John ´Tammy Faye´ Boehner and Eric Cantor. Mr. McConnell not far behind. Our leadership sux.

He clearly, consistently and constantly contradicts himself. Earnestly. And the idiots in the LSM and the idiots who voted for him blithely sit there, worshipping him. He is either incompetent or he is a total and complete liar. To them it doth not matter.

No one will challenge obama because he´s black and the libbies and libbie/lite don´t want to be called "racist"....

The taxes are going up becaause like a bad team in the clutch you know the repubs. will cave. I´m tired of watching my team lose. We need some new coaches. And we need a pr firm that can go up against the propaganda press that the repub. leaders are so afraid of.

Has anyone noticed the lack of coverage of Greece, Spain, etc and how they´re dealing with their fiscal cliff/fiancial crisis? I hear reports of businessmen rummaging through garbage for food, etc, but no pictures.

So I guess to the "average American", aka the idiots who voted for Obama, Europe is doing just swell and all this talk of doom and gloom is nothing. So why worry?

And nothing is said about his attack on business , such as just how many rules and regs .. Now e read electricity rates could skyrocket .

The higher rates Obama demands will be at best a drop in the bucket compared to his spending. He only wants this because he knows that it will be political suicide for the republicans who go along. He is pushing the GOP to betray it´s own base and they are signalling that they will comply! Just imagine if republicans demanded Obama cut support for all dependents on government 10% and betray his base. Would Obama agree to cut his own political throat? You all know the answer to that!

Face it... as long as you keep raising the debt ceiling, Obama doesn´t need a budget from Congress to keep spending money. If they go over the so called fiscal cliff, they own the problem, not Republicans.

#6 is right. Any remnants of the Bush tax rates will expire in just over a year. Closing of loopholes, eliminating deductions, etc will last forever. Far better to go over the cliff and force everyone to pay higher taxes. Obama´s base is going to complain the loudest when the extensions on tax credits, the Payroll Tax Holiday, and the progressive nature of the Bush tax rates disappear. Think of Council women in Detroit. Think of all the ´boyfriends´ who complained when the tax credit checks got delayed during the last debt limit deal fell through.

Yes, # 20! This is what´s needed! I posted about it yesterday. Set up their own cable station to explain conservative principles, buy a lot of prime time, really promote a conservative magazine, and online, buy a newpaper, buy huge shares of a mainstream media news outfit, so many of these things they could do. Because they need to do a lot of explaining and teaching, and they are blocked in the regular media.

Also, #18, think about this: do you think that the lefties are concerned about ideology? Look at the leftist totalitarian countries - where there is ideology, in n.korea, venezuela, cuba, vietnam, russia, ukraine? They don´t care about masses, never were, the only thing they care about is power. What they do with it is different matter. In our country they want to destroy the opposition, any free thinking people (in our case independent middle class). And they use all the propaganda they can - because they have mainstream media! (look at my previous post #20).

#20 -- Doing nothing to resist the Left´s strangle-hold on the mainstream media offers little hope for improving the credibility of their reporting. But fighting propaganda with counter-propaganda will bring about truth about as effectively as fighting chaos with more chaos will restore order.

For almost 20 years, talk radio HAS BEEN the right´s own ´mainstream media´. Has that brought about any reform or balance to the Leftstream Media?

#24, AM radio is a lot smaller than we think. It is a choir, just like this site. That´s no fault of either, it´s just the fact that liberals are either lazy or they camp out at their sites like PBS, etc. It sure would have been nice to have a counter CNN around the same time ONE man, Ted Turner, started his ´most trusted news´ network, but we didn´t. Now we can´t even mount a show to combat the daily insanity of ´The Daily Show.´

I hope The Blaze can grow, I hope the kid with the camcorder does more muckraking and it would be nice if a few in Hollywood followed Leno´s change of heart and explained Obama´s moves to their audiences, but that still leaves the entire education system and just about every polling place.

It makes no diff what Obie does from this day forward. The msm covers for him and Americans are too ignorant to question what they hear (or dont hear) from the msm, and the public schools go on indoctrinating the young people to become new dims. PO´d yet enough, folks, to do something about it?
