The Syrian military is prepared to use chemical weapons against its own people and is awaiting final orders from President Bashar Assad, U.S. officials told NBC News on Wednesday. The military has loaded the precursor chemicals for sarin, a deadly nerve gas, into aerial bombs that could be dropped onto the Syrian people from dozens of fighter-bombers, the officials said. As recently as Tuesday, officials had said there was as yet no evidence that the process of mixing the "precursor" chemicals had begun. But Wednesday, they said their worst fears had been confirmed:

Obamao´s legacy. Death and destruction throughout the middle east.

These are Iraq´s WMD and IMHO there are many in congress who knew it from the start but continued on with the lie that there were no WMDs.

Just heard Moon on the subject saying they must be ´´brought to justice´´. No. They need to be executed, and quickly. No Syrian people should be subjected to this horrible death.

I am convinced we intend to intervene. Truth will again be the first casualty.

For now we have the unimpeachable words and leaks from our side.

OTOH Syria´s record over 50 years is hardly reassuring. They may really be mad enough to use Sarin and/or other chemical weapons.

So, Assad is finally putting Saddam´s chemical weapons to use. Everyone wanted to know where the WMDs went. Well, here´s the proof. I guess Sad Dam Insane´s legacy of killing his own people with gas lives on in Assad.

What has Assad got to lose by using nerve gas?

He´s already considered a war criminal so he could be tried and executed anyway.

He has everything to gain by showing that he´s crazy enough to use WMDs.

He could use them and supply Hezbollah and Hamas with Sarin.

Any attack on Assad could carry the treat of world wide terror attacks.

That threat alone could protect Syria and Iran from any consequences as they gather more power for the Shiite faction of the religion of Satan.

What proof does Obama have that this has happened? Is he going to start World War III over Syria? Why are even a thousand more Syrians dead a bigger concern than the previous thousands? If Russia has drawn a red line in front of Syria, why not Russia deal with the problem? What is the US interest in Syria?

Explosives are also "chemical weapons." It´s the chemistry of fast-expanding hot gases.

They will load the bombs under cover of darkness - tonight.

They will use them and nobody will know it until days later is my guess.

We will wake up any day now and find we are going in.

First thing that´ll happen is oil goes to $150 minimum.

On its way to $200 @ barrel.

Iran will react - probably try to sink a US Navy ship or two and then arm the Strait of Hormuz.

We will be forced to attack Iranian artillery batteries on Iranian soil to keep the Strait open..

The Sarin will fall into the wrong hands and be used on Israel ...

...or smuggled in to use on us.

This might be the spark.

IIRC, chemical weapons don´t necessarily have to be mixed before deployment - they can be in separate chambers within a warhead and mixed between launch & impact. For whatever that´s worth...

The US surely has drones based in Turkey and Israel that are both monitoring Assad´s military and his chemcial weapons storage areas. These drones could launch Hellfire missiles at suspected bunkers, aircraft and artillery positions if Syrian troops are seen in protective garments. The Navy´s Sixth Fleet should also be in the eastern Mediterrean with 60+ aircraft and cruise missiles. So, we have the forces. Besides forces, CIA must be in contact with senior Syrian military, warning them not to use these toxins and to secure them against rebel seizure. Whether these officers will listen is the unknown. Hopefully, Assad the Reformer will flee rather than destroy his people.

It does seem that the MSM, aka Obama´s lackeys, are pushing this frightening story.

It might be true; but another possibility is that it is propaganda by an Obama regime that wants to do the same thing to Syria as it did to Libya.

Benghazi (Stevens) was being used to collect arms in Lybia which had been provided by the US by way of Qatar--what other deals has Hussein, Moochie and Hillary been making?

Benghazi annex was a Libyan arms recovery & delivery to Turkey for re-distribution to The Muslim Brotherhood operation. Stevens was there on a social mission related to a school but a kidnapping attempt was supposed to occur, requiring Obama to trade the Blind Sheik to get him back... but the Russians (who are angry that we are arming Mo Bro invaders) were tipped off & turned it into a massacre.

+++ Propaganda Alert ++++ Not only does NBC not reference a verifiable source, they do not have a source in Syria to inform them!

Obama & Hitlery seem hell bent on starting WW3 this year; Anyone know why, I´d sure like to know!

It will be the Anti-NWO Alliance of Russia, China, India & many smaller nations vs NATO, US & The Muslim Brotherhood....

This means that while he has no real plan for what his utopian, pie-in-the-sky collectivist state would look like, or how it would survive as an economic entity, he is dedicated to destroying our existing free, constitutional, capitalist republic to start the process. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

FORT WORTH — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis will undergo neck surgery today, her campaign said Tuesday. “After experiencing shoulder and right arm pain in recent weeks, Sen. Davis will have a routine surgical procedure to remove bone spurs and degenerative discs that are creating compression on the nerves in her neck,” campaign spokesman Zac Petkanas said in a statement Tuesday. “This is a common issue experienced by runners and endurance athletes,” he said. Davis, of Fort Worth, will undergo the outpatient surgery at the Fort Worth Brain and Spine Institute. Dr. Thomas Ellis will perform the

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The
