Harry Reid blocks vote on
Obama’s fiscal cliff proposal

Washington Examiner [DC], by Joel Gehrke

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 12/5/2012 5:56:11 PM

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., blocked a vote on President Obama’s proposal, articulated last week by Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that “there is no Geithner proposal.” “If the President’s proposal was made in good faith, Democrats should be eager to vote for it,” McConnell said today. “So I’m surprised the Majority Leader just declined the chance for them to support it with their votes. I guess we’re left to conclude that it couldn’t even pass by a bare majority of votes, and that they’d rather take the country off the cliff than actually work out a good-faith agreement

Let me understand this: Reid is blocking a vote on something that doesn´t exist, do I have that correct?

Well if it doesn´t exist, there would be nothing on which to vote, and therefore, nothing to block.

Otherwise, the proposal does exist - and in fact, the PropMedia were trumpeting it just recently - but now Harry says it doesn´t exist.

Okeley-dokeley, Harry.

For the President´s fiscal plans - does this make him 0 for 5? What is his total vote count for and against - 0 and 835?

Rapidly approaching perfection....

So Reid verifies that the Administrations(read Obama´s) plan as articulated by Geithner is a stunt. Not worthy, in other words, for another vote like all the other budget plans presented and voted on that gathered "Zero" votes in favor!

You can´t make this stuff up. Like they were waiting for a rejection by the GOP so they could go into attack mode? Calling for a vote once a day until the Christmas break is now a preferred strategy.

Economic collapse followed by massive civil unrest leading to Marshall Law, extra Constitutional power to respond to the emergency. Round up Right wing gun owning extremist living in rural areas where there is relative calm while turning a blind eye to inner cities were mobs are burning and looting and getting evil Whitey. Looks to me like Obama´s plan is working perfectly.

Well wham bam gotcha man.
This kind of cliff hanging is just what old Harry and Obie should face everyday. Harry was right there has been only one proposal on paper and it was sent to Obe.
Now pass a House Plan properly documented and send it to Harry for rejection.
Pass a version every day until the cliff crumbles and sends Obe to the Cesspool below taking all his minions with him.

Get out your stash and your Choom Gang jokes. Buried way deep down in David Remnick’s New Yorker profile of President Barack Obama, published Sunday morning, is this nugget: Accordingly, he said of the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington that “it’s important for it to go forward because it’s important for society not to have a situation in which a large portion of people have at one time or another broken the law and only a select few get punished.” There’s some buts and on the other hands, as you knew there would be. PARK CITY, Utah — Mitt Romney surprised filmgoers when he came to the Salt Lake City premiere of "MITT," the documentary that tracks his run for the presidency. But he declined to share what he thought about the movie afterward, even with the filmmaker behind it. "If he hated it, I don´t know if he´s going to tell me," director Greg Whiteley said. Witness reports are still being smoothed out, as some witnesses state shots were heard, others did not. What a majority of witnesses do state, is the men entered the mall armed with sledgehammers and potentially firearms. The robbers used the sledgehammers to smash the cases containing Rolex watchers as shoppers screamed and hid in other stores. There was plenty of blame to go around. “The president´s approval numbers still hover around the low 40´s, and so few Americans feel the country is headed in the right direction. On the flip side, housing foreclosures are at a 6-year low. “In his sixth year at the helm, Mr. Obama

The huge landmass in the Upper Midwest, with a population smaller than Rhode Island, has seen the highest population growth over the past year, and the highest rate of growth since the 2010 Census, according to the Bureau´s recently-released figures. Although the U.S. Census Bureau hasn´t released more specific information detailing whether the population growth among the states is coming from immigration or new births, the growth in North Dakota is obvious. On the front page of Saturday´s Washington Post, reporter Scott Wilson spun furiously to avoid the obvious fact that candidate Obama´s promises and President Obama´s record on the War on Terror are remarkably at odds. Worse yet, Wilson insisted that only the Boston Marathon bombings (death toll: three) counts as a "successful mass terrorist attack on Obama´s watch," which completely avoids the mass shooting at Ford Hood by an Islamic radical (death toll: 13), which is often ridiculously categorized as workplace

Under the motor-voter law, federal officials distribute voter-registration forms in all of the states. Arizona, Kansas and Georgia all asked that those forms request proof of citizenship, but the federal Election Assistance Commission rejected that in a 46-page ruling. His approval rating was down to forty per cent—lower than George W. A recent conversation with a veteran of GOP presidential campaigns raised this question: Which, if any, of the recent battleground states are likely to become more Republican by 2016? The consensus: very few. That reality highlights one problem Republicans face as they seek to regain the White House after six years under President Obama. Lots of factors affect elections: the quality of the candidates, the state of the economy, the effectiveness of the campaigns. But in a country whose demographics continue to change, Republicans will begin this campaign with one significant disadvantage. Over the past three decades, the political leanings of

Discussing the report’s findings with Piers Morgan, Sen. Morgan actually attempted to deflect some of the blame to Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed during the attack:
