American history is undoubtedly tied to the influence of guns, from our Independence, to our Constitution, to any sense of defense of our liberties from both domestic and international threats.

Costas is right in that we are existentially a gun culture, just as we used to be a free enterprise meritocracy, but like many liberals he along with the rest of the elite ruling/influence class have determined they know better than you and wish to regulate everything that built our successes right out of existence.

Costa does not have even the basic facts straight. The loon in Colorado in the theater was NOT wearing any body armor, only the stupid press thought that a "tactical vest" is armor, when it is just a vest with a lot of pockets and attach points.

I guarantee one or two citizens firing back at this violent lunatic would have stopped that violence with much less death and injury than actually occurred. That Costa doesn´t get this shows that he is a cowardly fool. I know many average skilled shooters that could have made the difference on that night. No superhuman skills required.

When Costas talks about Wild West, Dirty Harry I thought he was talking about Dirty Harry Reid. If you look at a picture of Harry Reid with those small spectacles he wears he looks just like some weaselly old creepy banker from the Old West.

Nobody wants to talk about the Appalachian Law School shooting in Virginia in 2002. The shooter was subdued by several students and a staffer who went out to their cars and retrieved...wait for it...their personally-owned legal firearms.
