Kucinich: Obama’s foreign policy
no different from Bush’s [Video]

Daily Caller, by Nicholas Ballasy

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 12/5/2012 10:53:36 AM

Democratic Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich told The Daily Caller on Tuesday he isn’t satisfied with President Barack Obama’s job performance on foreign policy issues. “You could draw a straight line from George [W.] Bush’s international policies to President Obama’s,” Kucinich told TheDC. ”There’s really not that much of a difference. One could say that President Obama’s taken George Bush’s authorization of the use of military force and has used that to telescope wars throughout the Middle East region using drones to further Bush administration policies

Comments:
I didn´t agree with everything Pres. Bush did, but I sure wasn´t anxious about our security like I am now with the Marxist 0bama in power. Washington is overrun with insane morons. How terribly unfortunate for the American people.

Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-Fla.) political stock is rated a buy by major Republican fundraisers in Washington, who are bullish on Rubio’s future as a 2016 presidential candidate. A group of Republican fundraising heavyweights and wise men in Washington’s business community are solidly behind Rubio, and see him not only as someone who could win the White House, but someone they can work with. The fundraisers include Bill Paxon, a former New York lawmaker who is now a senior adviser at Akin Gump; Dirk Van Dongen, the president of the National Wholesalers Association; and Wayne Berman, a big-time donor with a

First Lady Michelle Obama took a jab at rural Americans during a speech she delivered to Democrats at the posh Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, according to a White House transcript of her remarks. Her comments came as she was imploring the high-dollars donors to dig deep and “max out” their checking accounts. “Leave San Francisco,” she told the laughing audience. “Leave this bastion. Go out in the wilderness. And roll up your sleeves because we know that those person-to-person contacts, those calls and doors knocked on, all of that can also mean the difference between

What did House Speaker John Boehner really mean on Thursday when he announced that the GOP will back a multi-stage amnesty for 12 million illegals, and increase the flow of foreign workers into the country? The various GOP legislators and advocates can’t tell if Boehner is faking solidarity with the GOP’s immigration-boosting business donors, or is moving slowly to muffle voters’ worries about competition for jobs and wages. So they’re looking for clues to what Boehner will do next. They’re checking his statements and demeanor, his quips, claps and shrugs, to find out if he really want to push the

The pervasive use of generic over brand-name medications was anticipated to be a money-saver, but recently prices are soaring, even up 6,000 percent for some common drugs that were once fairly low-cost. As National Journal reports, pharmacists are perplexed about the huge price hikes in many drugs and are asking Congress to hold a hearing to look into the matter. Generic drugs such as Pravastatin, which treats high cholesterol, and the antibiotic Doxycycline spiked upwards of 1,000 percent in 2013, according to a survey by the National Community Pharmacists Association. According to the survey, 77 percent of pharmacists said they

The White House has crafted an explicit strategy when it comes to dealing with House Republicans on immigration: give them space. Senior administration officials say they want to give Republicans as much breathing room as they need to negotiate a bill in their own divided party and then see what materializes. It’s a delicate balancing act for Obama, who wants to secure an immigration reform law for his presidency and favors a path to citizenship for the nation’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants. He must negotiate that outcome with a House Republican conference that does not trust him, and that

Hundreds of career Justice Department lawyers have broken into open revolt against Attorney General Holder over his support of legislation that would drastically cut back on mandatory minimum sentences for drug pushers. The legislation Holder supports, known as the Durbin-Lee bill, would overturn the current mandatory minimum sentences not only for marijuana violations but for all drug offenses, including major and repeat trafficking in heroin, meth, PCP and other extremely dangerous, and often lethal, drugs. This was too much for hundreds of federal prosecutors. Today, Chuck Grassley, the Ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, read aloud from a letter the

Moody´s rating agency has lowered the outlook for health insurers from stable to negative, blaming ObamaCare. Few Americans will shed tears for insurance companies. But the Moody´s announcement is a warning sign to taxpayers. They´ll be getting clobbered. Section 1342 of the Affordable Care Act forces taxpayers to make insurers whole for most of the losses incurred selling ObamaCare exchange plans through 2016. The bailout is designed to conceal the failure of the president´s signature health law until he is out of office. No one in the Obama administration talked up the advantages of bailing out insurers. As predicted, the Obama administration and many in the Democratic Party are trying to peddle the story that ObamaCare is now working because the healthcare.gov website is functioning better. But despite the questionable claims of easier access and more people enrolling in the ObamaCare exchanges, the ugly truth is the horror stories are piling up and, sooner or later, ObamaCare’s cheerleaders will have to confront the overwhelming evidence indicting them for repeatedly lying to the American people. As expected, President Obama used his State of the Union speech Tuesday to extol the virtues of ObamaCare, and also as expected, retold the story
