| Carried by a new high in personal popularity and broad approval of her work as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton closes out her diplomatic career with majority support as a candidate for president in 2016. Fifty-seven percent in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll say they’d back a run by Clinton to succeed Barack Obama, vs. 37 percent opposed. That includes a broad gender gap – 66 percent support for Clinton among women, dropping to 49 percent among men.

Hillary, who has presided over a Middle East crumbling and turning militant Muslim, Hillary who has bullied Israel, Hillary who was at a wine tasting in Australia and thus could not testify as to Benghazi when the buck stops with her.....THAT Hillary? The wholesale stupidity of the American populace is sinking this great nation----they vote on perception, not fact.

The same stupidity that allowed the "won" to win re-election because we now have to check the box that we had a woman President. Her record nor his disdain for Israel will be a factor. Couple all of that with complete support of the MSM - why would any Democrat even think of it (hear that Mr. Cuomo).

It must not matter to most -- because we just re-elected a man who did the same thing -- but how could anyone vote for someone who stood over the coffins of four dead Americans and deliberately told a self-serving lie about the circumstances of their deaths? Vile.

The only good thing about Hillary is we know she wants Obama´s job. So in effect she is on our side - those of us who fear he thinks he´s got the job for life. If anyone can push him out the way, it will be Hillary. I think she´s the one with the original birth certificate.

Talk about a wolf, in sheeps clothing.
One of her lines that will forever remain in my mind, "We know how to spend your money better than you do." She is probably more socialist than Barry, but keeps it well disguised. Only occasionally does she allow her true colors to show through.
Remember, she was already president once? Billary already had her 2 terms. Remember Billary Care?

well, of course the American people love her. She´s a woman and a failure and the people relate to that. It doesn´t matter that she wrecks everything she touches: she looks lousy so equally lousy looking moms aren´t threatened by her, everything she does turns to dross but that´s ok because "she CARES and she TRIES" America is over. This is how people vote. Success is not important. What is important is, "is she every bit as much of a loser as I am? SHE IS! Great. I relate to her!" Democracy is wildly overrated.

Well, I would have to say, after the 2012 election, never underestimate the stupidity of the American people. Also the voter fraud was through the roof and I believe will be even greater for the Democrats in 2016. I highly doubt that we´ll see a Republican as president again in our lifetime. We just can´t stop the "machine". I know Hillary looks pretty bad now, but I guarantee that in these next 3 to 4 years, she´ll have a lot of work done on herself, and people will admire how "great" PIAP´s looks. Gag me

This is a classic strategy by the MSM to get the American voters all charged up to vote for PIAPS as the first woman president. Don´t bother to check the details of the "poll" because those of us here at LCom know that it is slanted to make PIAPS look like the front runner 4 YEARS BEFORE THE NEXT ELECTION. That´s what they do. And it´s all designed to get conservatives and Republicans (they´re not the same) to start wondering who they can run to defeat her.
Expect a lot more of these types of articles during the next 4 yrs.

at the age of 73, I honestly see little chance of our beloved country remaining as the shining city on the hill, as President Reagan calling the U.S. We have higher levels of uninformed voters, legal and illegal, who are so uninformed, it becomes a parody of itself. Watch one or two Jay Leno jaywalking segments, and you will be amazed. Or watch Repo Game, where the person whose care is being repossessed for non payment, when given the chance to win full clear title to the vehicle if they answer 3 of 5 trivia questions correctly. You will be absolutely amazed at the ignorance out there. We cannot possibly survive. We cannot. And in a country where citizenship supposedly cannot be granted if the applicant cannot speak english, there are some jurisdictions where ballots contain all sorts of foreign languages, required by law. We really are doomed. And Hillary could be the final straw, the nail in the coffin, etc. She has been an absolute failure as Secretary of State. She would be a bigger failure as president.

Maybe this is why there are so many photo ops of her swigging the booze?
Oooo, #40, you make creeepy sense. Ugh. maybe even some kind of triumvirate or other perversion?
Does anyone remember the scene of Hill-of-Beans in Africa, early in her officialdom, sitting, well, sort of spreading out in her purple pantsuit, haggard?
She was asked a question by a young African girl which Hilly misunderstood, she thought she was asked what her HUSBAND would do... hah hah oh if she only had had an ashtray within reach. you could see her fiery eyes dart around the hut searching for one, as she leaned forward. Whaaaaaat? she screeched...

She, BO and much of the State and adminsistration are soleley repsonsible for Islamication of the entire ME, the explosion of mulsim fundamentalism, the horrific violation of human rights against women, children and non-muslims and more and more people being murdered in the region.
Yet, I have no doubt she will run and win. The very fact that she has not resigned or been fired after Benghazi indicates the administration, the Republicans and apparently a huge number of Americans do not care that 4 Americans were assassinated while serving their country under her watch.
There are too many lunatics who are still in love wtih Bill Clinton and the thought of him back in the WH makes them swoon. Her only role will to make patronizing speeches and fly around the world giving out American dollars to 10th world and despotic regimes. Much like BO has done since day one.
I would not be surprised if a nuke hit our shores and the brain dead masses would still vote for BO and then Hill.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Political scientist Charles Murray has never backed away from controversy, but usually his opponents have been liberals. Friday, however, he managed to upset conservatives at the annual conference known as CPAC, where thousands of bewildered Republicans gathered to figure out the way forward after their party’s 2012 electoral defeat. Murray ditched his prepared remarks on “America Coming Apart” in favor of an impromptu admonition to fellow conservatives to accept the legalization of both gay marriage and abortion.

VATICAN CITY—It took Jorge Mario Bergoglio four minutes to convince fellow cardinals he was their leader. Speaking in the Paul VI grand hall of the Vatican, the Argentine cardinal warned the Catholic Church against focusing too much on matters close to home—advice that came against the backdrop of a papacy that had been consumed by infighting among Vatican officials, a dwindling flock in Europe and secular trends in the West. The 76-year-old Father Jorge, as he is known back home, said Roman Catholicism needed to shift its focus outward, to the world beyond Rome—rather than being "self-referential," he said.

When President Obama gets to Jerusalem next week, one of the signals to listen for is an indication of what country he thinks he’s in. Normally this is clear when the President — any president — goes to the capital of a foreign country. He’s in whatever country the capital is capital of. But Mr. Obama has been refusing to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Not only that, but he has been refusing to admit that Jerusalem is even in Israel.

Approaching his first presidential trip to Israel, President Obama offered a fresh and foolish — if not feckless — assessment of the Iranian nuclear threat. "Right now, we think it would take over a year or so for Iran to actually deliver a nuclear weapon, but obviously we don’t want to cut it too close,” the President told an Israeli television interviewer, in the process cutting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off at the knees and giving the mullahs breathing room to keep enriching uranium.

I hope I´m not too late to the fight.Last week, freshman Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) held an old-fashioned filibuster against the nomination of John Brennan to head the CIA. Paul´s stated reason for taking to the floor and talking for 13 hours was that the Obama administration wouldn´t give him a straight answer on the question of whether the president can unilaterally order the killing of American citizens on American soil with "lethal force, such as a drone strike … and without trial."

An unfortunate story on CBS New York Thursday carried this headline: "Officials: 80 Percent Of Recent NYC High School Graduates Cannot Read." It´s a shocker, but it´s also untrue. And to make things worse, the story that followed was riddled with typos. According to the New York Post, which reported the same story earlier on Thursday, "79.3 percent of city public-school grads who went to CUNY’s six two-year colleges arrived without having mastered the basics" of reading, writing, and math, and had to take non-credit remedial classes to catch up.

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

Seven hundred Military Special Operations professionals. And one insistent and very angry Mom. This is becoming a deadly combination for the political game players in the Obama Administration. Sean Smith, the young State Department computer wizard who was brutally murdered that September night in Benghazi, was Pat Smith’s only child. Let’s say that again. Sean Smith was Mrs. Smith’s only child. To listen to her recent radio interview with another Sean… Sean Hannity… is to have the heart break.

Is Anthony Weiner completely delusional? Or is he out of his flipping, sex-crazed gourd? Whatever big-busted fantasies crawl around the ex-congressman’s delirious noggin, la Weiner made his next goal as clear as the skin of the wholesome college students he craved: He relishes being Mayor Weiner. Please, shut up this clown. These days, the genitally obsessed Weiner has nothing much to do, except sit in his lavish Manhattan apartment and — the inhumanity! — change the poopy diapers of his 16-month-old son, Jordan. Worse, Weiner is living under a kind of house arrest, sentenced to take extreme grief

During the Q and A session after Sen. Rand Paul’s speech at Howard University, one student explained that he was not a fan of his view of government. “You say you want to provide a government that leaves us alone, quite frankly, I don’t want that,” the student said. “I want a government that is going to help me.” The student insisted that he wanted assistance for his college education and asked if Rand Paul supported a culture change within the nation. “Do you Sen. Rand Paul have a formulated solution to come up with new American values
