The Duchess of Cambridge is ´feeling better´ after spending a second day in hospital with acute morning sickness, St James´s Palace said tonight. Prince William smiled with relief as he left his pregnant wife in the care of two top royal doctors and issued a statement saying Kate is ´continuing to feel better´. Sources said the Duchess, 30, is responding well to treatment. The couple also said they are ´immensely grateful for the good wishes they have received´ as the Duke left the King Edward VII hospital in clear good spirits after spending hours at his wife´s bedside.

I wish them the very best, to stay gracious under such circumstances is a show of character, & probably Diana´s influence.

I had what she has when I was pregnant with my daughter. Even after they get the vomiting under control (you can´t even keep water down), she will still be nauseated most of the time for a while.

Pregnant ladies -- I heard from a pregnant lady that wearing "Sea Bands" stretchy wrist bands with accupressure buttons on the wrist, helps to alleviate morning sickness as it helps to alleviate motion sickness. It´s worth a try, and drug free.

Once the kids turn into teens, both parents will get ill over their antics all of the time. Get used to it Kate and don´t run to the hospital every time.

Don´t you just know that this is disturbing the Mooch to no end. Remember the Carla Bruni stare? I imagine its times 10 every time Mooch sees Kate in the news.

I don´t know but we had two boys and she was sick as a dog carrying both.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man whose 1965 Volkswagen Beetle was stolen nearly 40 years ago and recently recovered in Detroit says he never stopped grieving for the red convertible that he had running “slick as a ribbon” before it was stolen. Joe MacDonald of Knoxville, Tenn., said he used to buy Beetles to fix up and sell. Now he hopes to be able to get this one back and fix it up as well. “I already envision myself going to the lake house in my convertible,” he said in a phone interview on Tuesday. “There’s nothing I can’t fix on

In Wuthering Heights, Catherine says of Heathcliff: “My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath: a source of little visible delight, but necessary ... He´s always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being.” Based on the serialized romance novel political reporters have been writing since 2010, Emily Bronte might as well have been writing about President Barack Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner, because the Gothic romance they share is exactly the same. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell says he sees no hope for enactment of tax overhaul legislation this year, and blames the Democrats for trying to use the issue to raise revenue by $1 trillion. The Kentucky Republican said Tuesday the object of overhauling the tax code should be making the nation more competitive, not raising more money for the government. McConnell´s comments undercut the Republican chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Dave Camp of Michigan. He is expected to outline his plan for overhauling the tax code on Wednesday. The senator´s remarks also marked the second time

International flight security concerns have been raised as passengers on board a flight from London to New York´s JFK were left to bypass immigration when the plane arrived at the wrong terminal. Passengers on the Delta Air Lines fight were let out into a section of the airport where they did not have to pass through immigration or customs. WASHINGTON – Even the scoreboards in high school gyms eventually will have to promote good health. Moving beyond the lunch line, new rules that will be proposed Tuesday by the White House and the Agriculture Department would limit marketing of unhealthy foods in schools. They would phase out the advertising of sugary drinks and junk foods around campuses during the school day and ensure that other promotions in schools were in line with health standards that already apply to school foods. That means a scoreboard at a high school football or basketball game eventually wouldn´t be allowed to advertise Coca-Cola,

The German technology company Fraunhofer IAO has proposed using virtual reality technology to immerse travelers in a more pleasant flying experience. It calls the technology VR-Hyperspace. In this airplane of the future seat sizes remain the same, but the backs of seats and walls, ceilings and floors are covered with display surfaces and flat-screen TVs.
