I have said before that Sarah needs to cultivate a more serious image. That means no words or phrases like wusses, lamestream media, cojones, etc. It´s a small thing that could yield big rewards--for her and for the country.

Why apologize for telling the truth?

When Jack Nickolson uttered the famous line, "You can´t handle the truth!"- he could have been talking about the GOP leadership. We got in line, and once again voted for the candidate we were told to, and LOST, again.

It is easy for Gov Palin to say whatever she wants as she holds no office and she cannot be voted out of that office. Boehner, like him or not, is accountable for things that do or do not get done on his watch.

I think some miss the point. If you ´apologize´ while repeating the insult, it´s not really an apology. It´s a repetition for those who might have missed it the first time.

Oh, and America is not bankrupt and the future is not hopeless. If we had the good sense to elect someone who understands business, or at the very least someone who took Accounting 101 somewhere along the way, the conversation would be very different, on both sides of the aisle.

When it comes to facing danger in one´s life, I would guess that Gov. Palin and her family run about the same risks as the average cop or fireman, more than a rear-echelon soldier and less than a combat troop. She undoubtedly has a substantial file of death threats to herself and her loved ones, and I hope her security is adequate. At least she can afford it. I´d cite the old saw about ´´walking a mile in her shoes,´´ but her critics couldn´t do it. And yes, I wish her language was a bit less folksy, but only so she wouldn´t get knocked for telling the truth in words that let some self-exalted types get away with ignoring what she says by criticizing how she says it.

Who on the right gets their message out better than Palin? Her time was, and will be again. After selling out the country to have a seat in government, most republicans won´t have any integrity left; their weakness is cowardliness. We know we can trust her. Who else can you trust, besides Rush, Mark and Shawn?

She has her finger on the buttons better than any of the so called republicans. Things have become too ugly and entrenched politically that it is time to abandon party labels altogether. People can vote for whom they perceive is the best person to represent the constituents interests. Those who go to Congress with the best intentions invariably get overwhelmed by the party enforcers - as we have seen happen to too many of our good tea party candidates who made it to DC, only to be suborned by or ignored by the leadership machine. I think and believe the R party days are numbered, they are proven born losers as presently constituted.

I supported Romney, but was disappointed that he never reached out to Sarah. Why wasn´t she a speaker at the Republican Convention? She has proven star quality. I guess the Republicans prefer bland.

Palin exceeded our expectations four years ago. Deep down we know there is no man in America cool enough, "macaroni" enough, champion enough, experienced enough, God fearing enough, and inspiring enough to draw all other men to his soul as he leads against the foe. There is no man here who will even name the foe. We sort of don´t want another Thatcher, potentially emasculating our weak and broken heroes, doing it for us backwards and in high heels. But even less do we want Romney, Ryan, Jeb, Rick or Fatso. We have no future, unless Palin figures out how to explain this dark age, or gets out of the way.
