Palin apologizes for calling
some Republicans ‘wusses’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin apologized Monday night for describing some Congressional Republicans as “wusses” who are being “wobbly” on conservative principles in the fiscal cliff debate. “Well I guess I shouldn’t call politicians names, so I apologize for calling the wobbly ones wusses,” Palin said on Fox News. (Snip) “The point is that we are a bankrupt country,” she added. “There isn’t enough money in the world to pay back the future generations that we have stolen from and foreign countries that we have borrowed from and, through quantitative easing,

Two rules:

1) Never apologize. It´s a sign of weakness.
2) Rule 1 is especially true when one is correct.

The MSM has their panties in a bunch. Even when Sarah is right, they have to think she is wrong.

Any rational person believes that Repubs in Congress are wusses or worse. Even the dumb Dems look at McCain hugging Kerry and realize that Repubs are wusses.

I have said before that Sarah needs to cultivate a more serious image. That means no words or phrases like wusses, lamestream media, cojones, etc. It´s a small thing that could yield big rewards--for her and for the country.

Amen #5. I´ll never fully forgive the republican establishment for what they did to her and to her family. Conservative mothers like Sarah are some of the only people left with enough courage to stand up to the beltway bullies and rino wusses in the GOP. Don´t apologize Sarah. Those wusses stood by and watched our nation crumble. They deserve to be called much worse.

Why apologize for telling the truth?

When Jack Nickolson uttered the famous line, "You can´t handle the truth!"- he could have been talking about the GOP leadership. We got in line, and once again voted for the candidate we were told to, and LOST, again.

Sarah, no apologies necessary. Boehner on the other hand....

Leave it to CNN and liberal posters to attack Palin.

It is easy for Gov Palin to say whatever she wants as she holds no office and she cannot be voted out of that office. Boehner, like him or not, is accountable for things that do or do not get done on his watch.

I think some miss the point. If you ´apologize´ while repeating the insult, it´s not really an apology. It´s a repetition for those who might have missed it the first time.

If you throw in ´I shouldn´t have called the wobbly ones that name´ into the ´apology´, you´ve widened the insult net.

The art of the knife-twist masquerading as an apology is no longer the exclusive purview of the Alinskyites, it would seem. Probably a good thing.

Sara is right! She knows our majority leader is going to cry and shake, and most of the rest of them have been blackmailed to do the same. Thus they are wusses. We need to break this system before it breaks us. Look alive, people! And now the marxists are coming for the big money boys and girls, not just us low-lifes. But Sara still scares the beejeebers out of all of them and I think of her as Saint Sara of Wasilla. They all have done everything but burn her at the stake, but she is still strong. God bless you, Sarah.

She gets paid one million dollars a year to say provocative things once a week or so on Fox. How is that a manifestation of courage?

As for her having more, ah, testicular capacity than 99.99% of American men, I think not. Soldiers and cops willingly risk their lives each day for a lot less money.

When it comes to facing danger in one´s life, I would guess that Gov. Palin and her family run about the same risks as the average cop or fireman, more than a rear-echelon soldier and less than a combat troop. She undoubtedly has a substantial file of death threats to herself and her loved ones, and I hope her security is adequate. At least she can afford it. I´d cite the old saw about ´´walking a mile in her shoes,´´ but her critics couldn´t do it. And yes, I wish her language was a bit less folksy, but only so she wouldn´t get knocked for telling the truth in words that let some self-exalted types get away with ignoring what she says by criticizing how she says it.

It was a throwaway line, an afterthought. Naturally, CNN and its one-time students of News Manipulation 101, made it their headline.

Just as night follows day, you can count on it. Her threads always bring out the nitpickers, shallow thinkers and the just plain incorrect counties heard from.

Sarah Palin is an expert at being herself. In the seedy, seamy, secretive world of Politics, anyone who is genuine is looked upon suspiciously by the knee-jerk, pseudo-sophisticated gullible class. It’s refreshing to have someone say what she means, means what she says and if you don’t care for that sort of thing, sorry, but she’s not gonna put on a phony act just for you.

(“Did you catch that? Gonna? Not Going to? How déclassé! Who wrote this? Some commoner, I would imagine.”)

Delicious truth speaker,Sarah, is back. The Romney camp insulted her by not inviting her to speak at their convention, so why expect her to throw her support in his direction. She has her finger on the buttons better than any of the so called republicans. Things have become too ugly and entrenched politically that it is time to abandon party labels altogether. People can vote for whom they perceive is the best person to represent the constituents interests. Those who go to Congress with the best intentions invariably get overwhelmed by the party enforcers - as we have seen happen to too many of our good tea party candidates who made it to DC, only to be suborned by or ignored by the leadership machine. I think and believe the R party days are numbered, they are proven born losers as presently constituted.

re the content of some posters opinion on Sarah: It´s an East vs West thang.

Anybody born West of the big Sipiy gets Sarah. Yup we´re all unwashed boogerpickers out here in Resource Land. And of course, we´re the ones who LIVE in (all) the natural resources and not only know how to extract them, but were born to do it. So, we have to be discredited. Hence the meme: all Westerners are unwashed and "hicky". ooooh, I´m crushed; tears; i got tears in my eyes.

Flip side: Anybody who talks Eastern is an enemy. Plagues come out of the east, so do locusts. Think about it. Foggy Bottom is aligned with darker forces to the East.

We lost the election (without a landslide it was always gonna be a loss) cuz we won´t stop fighting amongst ourselves.

My former party is free to wallow in their own corruption until their last gasp of relevance. From those tainted ashes I hope to see the rise of a new conservative party; one that loves this country more than its own power. If Sarah is at the helm, all the better.

Sarah knows exactly what she is saying... she speaks conviction, with courage and conscience...

I am ready for a 3rd party. The GOP has been defined by the NWO/MSM/Progressives as racist, protector of the rich and can´t recover.

The Tea Party name has now been deemed a terrorist group.... including the original!

Maybe The Patriot Party... The Freedom Party... The Constitutionalist Party. Our platform could be adherence to the constitution, with guidance by God. Period.

Race, sex & other lib dividers would be a non issue... Just those who want the freedoms our constitution guarantees.

America is still 70 - 80% Christian, including many blacks & hispanics. We don´t have to appeal to gender, race, sex or any dividers. God has done that already.

We have a lot of strong leaders... Palin, West, Rubio, JC Watts & more would be a few.

Palin exceeded our expectations four years ago. Deep down we know there is no man in America cool enough, "macaroni" enough, champion enough, experienced enough, God fearing enough, and inspiring enough to draw all other men to his soul as he leads against the foe. There is no man here who will even name the foe. We sort of don´t want another Thatcher, potentially emasculating our weak and broken heroes, doing it for us backwards and in high heels. But even less do we want Romney, Ryan, Jeb, Rick or Fatso. We have no future, unless Palin figures out how to explain this dark age, or gets out of the way.

Mainstream media publications immediately exploited the passing of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Monday to again advance their political agendas by falsely smearing former Alaska Gov. and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. In a rush to write whatever they could to tarnish both, outlets like Politico and the Washington Post resorted to "reporting" on a fictitious story and an imaginary trip that have already been debunked years ago. Former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin mocked President Obama, GOP consultant Karl Rove and the mainstream media in a folksy speech to a gathering of conservative activists outside Washington Saturday. During her address to the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, Palin accused Obama of failing to lead, instead maintaining a permanent campaign approach of demonizing the opposition. True leadership, she said, means "ending the poisonous practice of treating members of different social, ethnic and religious groups as different electorates, pandered to with different promises."

In no way am I saying Republicans are above criticism and do everything right. But there´s something about Colin Powell´s recent attacks that sound so, so, well, so Democratic National Committee-ish. Take, for instance, this gem: "There is a dark vein of intolerance in this party. They still sort of look down on the minority." Sounds ominous, no? Sarah Palin apologized Monday night for describing some Congressional Republicans as “wusses” who are being “wobbly” on conservative principles in the fiscal cliff debate. “Well I guess I shouldn’t call politicians names, so I apologize for calling the wobbly ones wusses,” Palin said on Fox News. (Snip) “The point is that we are a bankrupt country,” she added. “There isn’t enough money in the world to pay back the future generations that we have stolen from and foreign countries that we have borrowed from and, through quantitative easing,

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial. Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. More than six months since Ambassador Christopher Stevens was assassinated by terrorists in Benghazi, the Obama administration is still trying to keep a lid on information about the attack. Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough voiced his agreement with Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain, who on Sunday’s “Face the Nation” on CBS questioned those Republicans who are threatening a filibuster on pending gun control legislation. Scarborough said such a filibuster would be an example of the GOP putting “rapists’ rights ahead over parents’ rights.” “[I] tell you what, Richard Haass, I saw John McCain there,” Scarborough said. “And I’m hopeful. Because, you know, there are a lot of guys out there in the Senate and they are going out because it’s a free shot.

Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.
