| In a colorful demonstration of the Washington press corps’ disdain for Grover Norquist and his anti-tax pledge, on Sunday’s This Week, a flustered ABC News/NPR veteran Cokie Roberts blurted out: “It’s...politically smart to cut the knees out from under Grover Norquist. I mean this guy is, you know, who is he? He’s an unelected lobbyist.”

Anyone who thinks these attacks on conservatives are random is kidding themsleves. This is right out of Alynskys book. They have been separating us from the herd and killing us off one by one. Scary stuff really.

"Cokie´s" full name is Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne Roberts. Before she was married her name was Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne Boggs.
If you lived in Louisiana you would know all those names from Democrat Louisiana politics. Her mother, "Lindy" Boggs was, before her marriage, Marie Corinne Morrison Claiborne. Lindy´s late husband was U.S. Senator Hale Boggs, killed in a plane crash in Alaska. Lindy was appointed to his seat and, well, search on Lindy Boggs and see.
Morrison comes most recently from Cokie´s cousin, the late DeLesseps Story "Toni" Morrison, Jr., a former Louisiana State Representative, whose father was once Mayor and whose Great-Uncle (?) Sidney Story was responsible for Storyville. Claiborne was, I think, Louisiana´s first governor.
Close enough, anyway, for you to gather that Cokie also appears to be an unpaid lobbyist.

Until we start taking grade points away from the A students in colleges and high schools and giving them to the F students so that all can pass with a C, the younger generation will never understand what the democrats are trying to do to our country with wealth redistribution and its unintended consequences.

A Massachusetts school sent home letters in the mail that used body mass index testing to determine weight class percentiles for students, according to a report by Boston Fox affiliate WFXT. The letter labels students as underweight, of a healthy weight, overweight and obese. Cameron Watson, a 10-year-old North Andover athlete and student, fell into the obese category after the screening, according to WFXT. Emil Conti’s blood pressure was under control thanks to his daily use of the generic drug Verapamil, but it didn’t get any help in January, when he saw his monthly co-payment for the drug rise from $8 to $105. Conti, 83, of Lakewood, was taken aback. He thought he had done the things he needed to keep the cost low. Instead, he was going to have to reach deeper to pay for prescription drugs.

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. A new CNN/ORC International poll found President Obama´s overall approval rating has ticked up to 51 percent but ratings have fallen on his handling of the key issues on his agenda: immigration, guns, and the deficit. In a stunning end to one of the most aggressively unsuccessful tenures in retail history, JCPenney (JCP) last night announced that CEO Ron Johnson would be leaving effective immediately. Myron Ullman, Johnson´s predecessor at JCPenney, takes office as CEO. When Johnson was initially wooed by JCPenney, it was to serve as CEO with Ullman as Chairman. In January 2012, Ullman was unceremoniously removed from the board. Gone with Ullman was any control the Board of Directors had over Ron Johnson and his control of JCPenney resources.
