Liz emerges to squash all things GOP
Boston Herald, by Holly Robichaud

Original Article

While I’ve been extremely grateful — along with the rest of our state’s 46 percent of common-sense voters — that Lizzy Warren went underground after that disastrous post-election press conference when she deferred her decisions as our U.S. senator to Majority Leader Harry Reid, she’s back now. Can you imagine the media buzz if Sen. Scott Brown had disappeared after a presser fumble like that? Where’s she been? For the Thanksgiving holiday, Brown and his wife served food to the homeless.

Comments:
New Sen. Warren (D-MA) to march in lock step with Harry Reid´s limitations on Republican (Minority) rights.

Her leftist freaks are pushing Princess High Cheeks for seat on Senate Banking Committee where she can inflict most damage on economy. "No need free checking. Me use wampum." Small and regional banks will disappear under the burdens she imposes.

Instead of Banking, put her on Bureau of Indian Affairs oversight committee. Who would know more about Native Americans than the great grand daughter to the white family who drove Cherokee on Traiil of Tears to OK.

Don´t understand why the the author is so dismayed. We´re talking about MASSACHUSETTS, for catssake. These are the voters who sent the likes of Teddy Kennedy, Barney Frank and a thousand other clowns who helped ruin our country to Washington decade after dreary decade. To Masshats, Warren is the stateswoman of the century. (Read some of the comments responding to the article to get some understanding of true boneheadedness.)

You must understand, we in Massachusetts must import carpet baggers to hold seats for the Kennedys until they reach legal age for the senate.
Of course we have a long history with carpetbagers like Deval, Bwarney, J Fonda Heinzkerry etc etc.
This election we even reelected a member of a crime family.

She has presumably given up a $600,000 Harvard teaching gig and a lucrative but unlicensed law practice in her Harvard academic office for a $187,500 per year senator´s salary. How does she intend to make up the financial loss in order to stay in the Top 1% bracket?

I would guess like the retiring Senator from CT, Joe Lieberman, whose wife receives $300,000 + per year for speeches to pro-Israel groups. Move-On, Center for UnAmerican Progress and SEIU will surely keep Mr. Squaw, also a Harvard prof, well compensated.

Kabul, Afghanistan -- The Obama administration condemned Saturday the Taliban´s attack on a Kabul restaurant that killed 21 people, mostly foreigners, as revenge for an airstrike that caused civilian Afghan deaths. Among the dead are Americans, Canadians, Britons and Afghans. Two of the three Americans killed were identified Saturday. They are Lexie Kamerman and Alexandros Petersen, both employees at the American University of Afghanistan, the university said. A third American has not yet been named. "She was an amazing young woman -- smart, strong, beautiful, funny, stubborn and kind. And fearless," Kamerman´s family said in a statement provided by

NATO, for a while turning its gaze to regions far away, must again concentrate on defending its very self – gone is the age when it was hoped that Europe had embraced a great love for peace and danger no longer existed. JERUSALEM — The Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad said Thursday it had agreed to halt a wave of rocket fire on Israel, signaling an end to the heaviest fighting between the sides since 2012, though soon after the announcement two rockets fired from Gaza exploded inside Israel. The Islamic Jihad denied it launched the attack and it wasn´t immediately unclear who fired the rockets. Cease-fire declarations have not always been honored by militants and the barrage raised doubts about the cease-fire offer made by Islamic Jihad. The Israeli military said a total of four rockets were fired Thursday from Gaza.

WASHINGTON — As the Republican field for 2016 stands today, Hillary Clinton doesn’t have much to worry about. In fact, for all the talk about Benghazi and Obamacare, she has a lot to be happy about. The drum-beating of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference — the GOP’s pre-presidential coming-out party — gave us a glimpse of the Republican future. And for the GOP, the future is bleak. Sen. Rand Paul officially won CPAC’s presidential straw poll. His message of libertarianism plays well with the small government crowd. Russia’s Foreign Ministry denied information about ultimatums as “utter nonsense.” The Ukrainian defense and foreign ministries insisted that ultimatums were, in fact, real,

Military groups and lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are vowing to fight proposed cuts to the Pentagon budget set to be unveiled next week that could increase the cost of living for American troops, veterans and their families. The military spending plan outlined by Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Monday calls for smaller pay rises and controversial reductions in housing allowances, health benefits and other subsidies for service members and retirees. "We know the Defense Department must make difficult budget decisions, but these cuts would hit service members, making it harder for them and their families to make ends meet,”

(Ukraine) Naftogaz, Ukraine’s state-owned oil and gas monopoly, has threatened 11 oblasts with gas supply cuts for falling drastically behind on their bills totaling some $3 billion, which, coincidentally, is the rough equivalent of what Russia’s Gazprom said Ukraine owed it. Naftogaz said on Feb. 13 it will imminently reduce gas deliveries to a “technical minimum.” Company spokesperson Olena Yurieva said that means enough will be given for pipes to not freeze. Energy experts disagreed on how much room temperatures will drop as a result. Oleksandr Todiychuk, head of international energy club Q-club, told Kommersant that temperatures could drop to

(Kyiv, Ukraine) Open warfare broke out on the streets of Kyiv today, with at least 22 persons reportedly killed and more than 1,000 people injured. It was a day of non-stop bloodletting, smoke, fire and screeching ambulances. The death toll was likely to rise as police went on the offensive after sundown, advancing on thousands of protesters on Independence Square at 8 p.m. with gunshots, a water cannon and an armored personnel carrier. Tents housing protesters were burning on the main square, a fire fueled by protesters with tires as a defense against police attacks.

(Israel) The Australian Woodside Petroleum company signed a $2.5 billion deal to enter the Leviathan gas field in offshore Israel. The owners of Leviathan were in Australia this week to try to finalize a year-old non-binding deal, worth up to $2.3 billion, The Australian daily reported. Woodside will pay more than it had originally offered to enter the gas field because its owners want to pipe much of the gas to Turkey and other regional countries. Pipeline exports to Turkey require less development spending, which would increase the value of the gasfield.

Prospective foster parents with rap sheets listing criminal convictions for armed assault, drug trafficking, motor vehicle homicide and even soliciting sex from a minor could be cleared to take at-risk children into their homes under a standing policy at the state’s embattled child welfare agency. The stunning rules, tucked inside the Department of Children and Families’ handbook on criminal record checks and updated six years ago, allow foster parents with checkered pasts to take charge of endangered kids in the agency’s care. Among the crimes DCF policy might forgive would-be foster parents after screening their applications: • Offenses such as inducing sex from

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how the sweeping acceptance of gay marriage in recent years is owed in large part to Christianity. Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,
