It´s at a stalemate because Obama wants to run the country into bankruptcy and then declare supreme powers like the joker in Egypt.

Has anyone heard anything about the Bush middle and lower tax rates being made permanent? So why does anyone believe the middle class rate cuts won´t go away the following year? He is going to continue to make the tax rate more progressive every chance he has. He is refusing to consider the Sequester of 50 to 100 billion as previously agreed. So now he needs 42 billion from the rich. I´d rather let all the gimmicks expire and give him 427 billion that is pending and force him to cut 427 billion in expenditures. I certainly don´t want new taxes being dreamed up.

Now it´s a ´fiscal cliff´.

The president and ´republicans.´ I think the WH will go into overdrive to make this a Republican disaster. And the gullible will buy it because we don´t have one single brave man on the R side that is willing to fight and do something. They´ll just cower under their desks as usual then send the crybaby out to ramble on a news programs.

I think the government (all of it) is lying about the "fiscal cliff". Just like they used the financial crisis of 08/09 to grab unprecedented power over the private sector, I think the phrase "never let a crisis go to waste" applies now.
It is mathematically impossible to significantly narrow the deficit using tax increases. There MUST be cuts in spending. And our "leaders" simply don´t have the guts to do any of it. "Sequestration" (big automatic cuts) may be the only way to accomplish it. The Fiscal Cliff brings 9% across-the-board cuts and income tax increases to every American.
So be it. I´m a "Cliff Diver".

The first thing that we could do is get rid of John Boehner. This man is a total loser. The next thing we can do is start selling tax cuts like the democrats do....hit below the belt and everyone is singing the same talking points. You have to play dirty like the democrats.

By the way, you also have to lower our conversations to the 5th grade level.

Hopeless Republicans prepare another fiasco. Fortunately, some of our most effective conservative voices were discredited during the last GOP primary, so the getalongs in the GOP can get on with making Obama´s deal for him. Any word from Sununu on what the conservative position is?

The Empty Chair needs more money for his new programs. His new programs will grow government and increase his power. By 2016 he will have sole control of the legislative and judicial branches, so there will not need to be an election.
Expect to see more crises as the flood of new regulations comes out.

Stinky has made his offer unpalatable enough that he knows Congress will not agree to it. He WANTS the economy to crash. He does not want an agreement that would prevent the sequestration in January. Some of the Republicans are at least on the right RR track. All of them need to physically laugh when they are asked about Obama´s proposal, they need to make it out as a joke. Ridicule is the best technique, don´t even discuss the details just laugh.
