Thousands attend anti-Nazi rally

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – Thousands attended an anti-Nazi rally Sunday in Hungary organized by Jewish and civic groups to protest a far-right lawmaker´s call to screen Jews for national security risks. The rally was unusual because politicians from both the government and opposition parties shared a stage outside parliament. Marton Gyongyosi of the far-right Jobbik party said Monday in the legislature it was time "to assess ... how many people of Jewish origin there are here, and especially in the Hungarian parliament and the Hungarian government, who represent a certain national security risk."

Comments:
I believe with all that is within me that Obama despises Israel and adores terrorists. This article tells me that those that have tasted Nazism can smell it coming a long way off. Something stinks with this administration - and it if I did not know any better, I would think that it wafts of evil incarnate.

These people are friends and allies of the Iranian Mullahs. They visit Tehran often. They are not right wing. Communism and Nazism are leftist movements that believe the individual is a slave of the state.

If they had called for screening of Muzlims, they would have burned the place down.

A week and a half ago, when House Republican leaders realized that their own conservative members might align to defeat legislation protecting Medicare physicians from a big automatic pay cut, they took the unusual step of cutting them out of the tangle altogether. While negotiations were ongoing, the Majority Leader, Eric Cantor, darted on to the House floor and, after brief consultation with Democratic leaders, cleared the Medicare "doc fix" by voice vote—a procedure that´s typically reserved for fast tracking uncontroversial legislation. The yeahs and nays were not recorded. A bill that divided the GOP conference, and might very well

With swimsuit season right around the corner, a new science-based, anti-diet book offers the most enabling advice we’ve heard this year: Those thunder thighs you hate so much might be key to long life. “The Obesity Paradox” presents compelling evidence that those with excess baggage might be healthier and better able to fight off diseases than normal-weight counterparts. Conversely, the “thin and unfit” waifs have the worst body types for long-term health. Though obesity remains a risk factor of “epidemic portions” — more, some researchers say, than smoking or alcoholism— associated with heart disease, stroke, Type-2 diabetes,

Wenzhou - Thousands of Chinese Christians have mounted an extraordinary, round-the-clock defence of a church in a city known as the ´Jerusalem of the East´ after Communist Party officials threatened to bulldoze their place of worship. In an episode that underlines the fierce and long-standing friction between China´s officially atheist Communist Party and its rapidly growing Christian congregation, Bible-carrying believers this week flocked to the Sanjiang church in Wenzhou hoping to protect it from the bulldozers. Their 24-hour guard began earlier this week when a demolworshippers say cost around 30 million yuan (£2.91

At a Glance: The current cockfighting law contains language that makes it difficult to enforce because it specifies a certain species of chicken. Proposed legislation would fix the loophole by expanding it to include any kind of foul forced into fighting for sport. It also increases penalties by putting them on par with dog fighting. The Louisiana Senate Judiciary C Committee advanced the bill Tuesday (April 1), but not without some debate from a St. Landry Parish lawmaker about ramifications of the proposed law revisions on a sport he called "chicken boxing." The bill: Senate Bill 523, sponsored by Sen.

But...we have to win the war of ideas first," Jindal told Genevieve Wood of Heritage´s The Foundry, a right-leaning news service, during the meeting this past week. "We´ve got to win the elections in 2014. And after we do that, we´re certainly giving it some thought. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Wednesday blasted the Obama administration’s decision to extend enrollment in the healthcare law’s insurance exchange for some people. “What the hell is this, a joke?” Boehner said at his weekly press conference. He was responding to the administration’s announcement on Tuesday evening that people who had begun the process of signing up for insurance through the federal exchanges would have until mid-April to do so, instead of March 31. The Speaker called the move “another deadline made meaningless,” adding it to a litany of unilateral changes to the law that the administration has made.

If the conservative insurgency has been crushed, why was Mitch McConnell walking around onstage at CPAC with a musket? He couldn’t have sucked up to the right any harder if he wore a tri-corner hat and had the Gadsden flag tattooed on his rear. It just changed, from a shoestring operation to one with real clout. And it’s well on its way to doing what it set out to do – arm-twist

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers.
