| The grandparents from Missouri who won a staggering $293,750,000 of the Powerball jackpot have revealed they plan to keep the same pickup truck and visit their local cafe for breakfast - all after taking a nap. Speaking at a press conference at the school where they met as teenagers, Cindy Hill, 51, and her mechanic husband Mark, 52, added they have no plans to leave their home in Dearborn, where they plan to bring up their adopted six-year-old daughter Jaiden. Answer to #4 is staying anonymous varies by state law. From the Missouri Lottery website "Missouri state law requires the Lottery to release your name, city of residence and the amount of the prize." So the answer is the Dearborn family had no choice but to be public.

I would think that if they had sought some legal advice, set up a trust or foundation or something that would "own" the ticket and cash it in then provide benefits to certain designees, they could have worked around being identified. But I have no idea in MO how that might work. I do hope they have some good legal/financial talent helping them as every moocher in the country will now be hitting them up for some $$.

They didn´t get $293 million - the goobermnint took more than half - $158 million, leaving them just $136 million.

Take a nap ? Lol. If I won that kind of scratch I suspect the thrill of winning and the worries of how to manage it wouldn´t allow me to sleep for a while. But in the interest of trying to be helpful I´d volunteer to take it off their hands. No reason good people like that should have to deal with that kind of stress....

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon.
