Obama Warns Of A ´Scrooge
Christmas´ If Fiscal Cliff
Deal Doesn´t Get Done

Business Insider, by Brett LoGiurato

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 11/30/2012 1:11:07 PM

President Barack Obama gave remarks on the looming "fiscal cliff" at a manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, the same day Republicans are panning his initial offer. Obama spoke after touring the Rodon Group manufacturing facility in Hatfield Township, which most notably has manufactured more than 30 billion parts for the K´NEX toy company. “I’ve been keeping my own naughty and nice list in Washington, so you should keep your eye on who gets K’NEX this year," he quipped. He moved onto the fiscal cliff, which he said was "not some run of the mill debate."

Comments:
He´s so funny and clever. s/o The skinny Marxist should be in Washington working with everyone instead of his perpetual campaigning. He absolutely sickens me.

Obama´s re-election has proved that he has not yet begun to scratch the surface of voter tolerance for his agenda or his ability to blameshift to Republicans.

Look at things realistically: Obama plans to crash the economy so that he will be able to leverage a crisis. He will blame republicans. The public will accept that reasoning. That ought to be our starting point in the conversation.

Hasn´t he played this "Christmas Crisis" every year since he´s been elected?

It is baffling that he doesn´t have to do anything but threaten people. He skates and gets applauded in the process.

He has killed small business...damaged large businesses and caused such misery.

Where will the money come from when no one has a decent, stable job?

Contitution and therefore the bill is illegal. but obama needs the House to pass the bill so he can blame the Republicans. I am totally confused by this..

A Michigan high school canceled a speech by former Sen. Rick Santorum after teachers became outraged over his opposition to gay marriage and threatened to stage protests and a possible work stoppage. Santorum had been invited to deliver a upcoming speech on leadership by the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Gross Pointe South High School. But the speech was canceled on Monday after the school district’s superintendent heard from angry teachers. “It’s a sad day when liberal educators are allowed to influence young minds – extending free speech rights only to those who share their liberal views,” Santorum said

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Cruz´s comments come as Congress debates passing a set of gun control measures meant to reduce gun violence and prevent shooting massacres similar to the one at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

During Barack Obama´s presidency there have been 32 background checks for gun purchases every minute. Since February of 2009, the first full month of Obama´s presidency, there have been 70,291,049 background checks for gun purchases, according to data released by the FBI. Using February 1, 2009 as our starting date, and March 31, 2013 as our end date, (the latest data from the FBI) Obama has been president for 1,520 days. That equates to 36,480 hours, or 2,188,800 minutes. Divide the 70,291,049 background checks by 2,188,800 minutes and you get approximately 32 checks for gun purchases every minute!

As he rolls out his fiscal 2014 budget on Wednesday, a new survey finds that Americans haven’t felt this confident about President Obama’s handling of the economy since his first year in office. The Gallup poll, which sampled more than 1,000 Americans, found that 57 percent say they have a “great deal or a fair amount of confidence” in Mr. Obama to do the right thing on the economy. That’s up from just 50 percent last year and hasn’t been this high since it hit 71 percent in 2008. Trust in congressional Republicans, on the other hand, remains low.

Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.
