The Governing Class and the Decline of America
AmericanThinker.com, by Steve McCann

Original Article

Posted By:javaboy, 11/29/2012 6:40:38 AM

The United States will not reverse its descent into the abyss of financial and societal bankruptcy until the current political and governing establishment is replaced. That will not happen until the American people, who have been deliberately ill-educated and deceived, experience first-hand the early stages of the turmoil and suffering extant in Europe and elsewhere. While professing to care for the interests of the average person, the underlying motivation for the vast majority of the governing class or Establishment is first and foremost self-aggrandizement and the acquisition of wealth.

I tend to agree with the writer. There are a lot of people who do not believe bad things can happen to them until they do.

A rational assessment of USA today. The long overdue wake-up call will not come, as we thought, from conservatives, it will come from the inevitable disaster(s) brought upon us by the Democrats and their craven enablers in the GOP. But disaster it will be, in His 2nd term.

Dead solid perfect analysis, especially this last part, which solidifies the notion that this has all been done deliberately:

The United States finds itself in a circumstance once thought unthinkable. An ill-educated and near morally bankrupt society increasingly made up of those dependent on government combined with a governing class whose primary interest is themselves. The nation cannot, therefore, make any meaningful course correction unless and until the people finally understand they have been lied to and conned by the current establishment. That will, in all likelihood, not occur until America faces imminent collapse and the citizenry turns on those who brought the nation to its knees.

And to the good people who still are saying, "it can´t happen here", stick around. Better still, leave while you still can.

Definitely a Must Read. A brilliant analysis of the confederacy of dunces, revolutionaries, and remoras on both sides who have collectively brought this great nation to its demise. And please note that he has correctly concluded that we are not just heading for bankruptcy, we are already there. There is no way we can extricate ourselves from the massive debt (correctly pegged at 222 trillion, not 16 trillion!) that we are now facing.

It will all collapse, as the Obamunists have planned all along. There will be blood. The only remaining question really is who will emerge on top after the collapse and coming violence.

Washington breaks the very laws they enforce on US!
That´s NOT ´illegal" plunder which is bad; that´s "legal" plunder which is even worse!

To better understand this difference please visit [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Law_(1850_book)] and become familiar with "The Law", a book written in 1850 by the French writer Frederic Bastiat.

In The Law, Bastiat states that "each of us has a natural right — from God — to defend his person, his liberty, and his property". The State is a "substitution of a common force for individual forces" to defend this right. The law becomes perverted when it punishes one´s right to self-defense in favor of another´s acquired right to plunder.

Washington has perverted the Law.
They refuse to audit the Fed.
They refuse to audit the Federal Government.
They refuse to be transparant in fund raising.

They pit the young against the old.
They pit race against race.
They pit men against women.
They pit one faith against another faith.
They pit one class against another class.

They claim our wages as their money.
The last paragraph is the best.

Before we rise again, we have to hit bottom first.
We are almost there!

First paragraph a winner.

Ignorant people of the past learned only from experience which was often painful: war, disease, famine, etc.

Education, especially studies of history and economics, was/is supposed to be a substitute for such experience. One did not need to touch a hot stove to know it would produce a burn.

But when education fails - or is sabotaged - we are back to experience as the only teacher.

Despite our technology and vast stores of the most minute data, we are returning to an intellectual dark age where people believe the government tends a money tree orchard; that the person attempting to run a business, offer goods for sale and possibly offer you a job is an evil, thieving SOB.

We now have millions raised in a cocoon of self-esteem and instant gratification convinced that government is a force for good and that individual rights are a hindrance.

Dead on analysis from Mr. McCann, but I fear his last conclusion could be wrong. As things collapse around them the same hoard of dummies who elected and re-elected this communist scumbucket may cling to him all the more tightly, their ignorance and psychological investment in him being as ingrained as they are. At least, that is what Obama and his Cloward-Piven disciples are counting on.

Nice analysis until the last paragraph, which is a fantasy. McCann makes the case in the article that the populace has been propagandized and dumbed-down instead of educated, as well as having become morally corrupt. The most likely result when disaster hits is, then, that they will turn on the usual scapegoats rather than those who brought the country to its knees.

Global average temperature has been flat for a decade. But frightening myths about global warming continue. We’re told there are more hurricanes now. We’re told that hurricanes are stronger. But the National Hurricane Center says it isn’t so. Meteorologist Maria Molina told me it’s not surprising that climatologists assumed hurricanes would get worse. “Hurricanes need warm ocean waters,” but it turns out that “hurricanes are a lot more complicated than just warm ocean waters.” Computer models have long predicted nasty effects from our production of greenhouse gasses. But the nasty effects have not appeared. As far as hurricanes, more hit the United States

Blue-collar workers, especially those connected with labor unions who mine coal, drill for oil and gas, build pipelines, and toil in all those related areas of genuine economic activity, must be appalled. Barack Obama won re-election largely on the willingness of those types of unions to put aside their doubts about his real commitment to economic growth and to turn out by a two-to-one margin for him. That was decisive in states with large industrial unions: Ohio (18 electoral votes), Pennsylvania (20 electoral votes), Iowa (6 electoral votes), New Hampshire (4 electoral votes), and Wisconsin (10 electoral votes).

A meticulous new analysis examines the benefits of government-administered socialism among a representative cross section of individuals. It is an insightful departure from the usual studies of socialism that analyze only collective benefits to society using statistics about such things as income quartiles and poverty levels. We are being played; it´s time we learned the game. Conservatives have their Constitution. Progressives have their Narrative. The current battle for America is between these two concepts, and each side uses different rules to fight it. One set of rules is consistent with an unchanging objective: limited government and individual freedoms. The other side´s rules are as fickle as their goals, which are never fully disclosed beyond the equivocal references to fairness and hyphenated forms of justice.

The stated purpose of the WCIT is to update the UN´s "global treaty" on telecommunications to deal more directly and comprehensively with the internet. Were the average Republican asked for a succinct statement of his views on taxation, he or she might respond thus: “U.S. tax rates are too high for the world we must compete in. The tax burden — federal, state, local, together — is too heavy. We need to cut tax rates to free up our private and productive sector and pull this economy out of the ditch.” This core conviction holds the party together. Yet today the leadership is about to abandon this conviction to sign on to higher tax rates or revenues, while the economy is nearing stall speed.

She and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have been on the national stage for more than two decades -- traveling from Arkansas to the White House to the Senate to the 2008 campaign trail and finally to the State Department. During that time, every look and utterance from Hillary has been examined, then examined again, then analyzed, then overanalyzed.
