Even Big Bird had a Million Man March.

If Islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood think Americans are nothing but a bunch of dumb infidels whom Allah wants them to annihilate, why are they planning to use one of our most time-honored gimmicks for generating crowds?

"Spokesperson"? Muslim Brotherhood only has spokesmen. Women do not have a voice in Islamist society. Hillary and the other liberals in America need to remember that.

The Freedom and Justice Party wants Sharia Law in Egypt. How Orwellian. I was unaware that freedom and justice have any place in Sharia law.

When the Edward Gibbon of the 22nd century comes to write his History of the Decline and Fall of the West, who will feature in his monumental study of the collapse of the most successful economic experiment in human history? In this saga of the mass suicide of the richest nations on earth, maybe the leadership of our day in Washington, London and Brussels will appear to have been swept helplessly along by irresistible forces that originated before their time.

I have never entertained the idea that Obama was a Muslim and always believed he was a socialist. But Obama's behavior over the last four years regarding Islam has convinced me that Obama has a Socialist/Islamic centered worldview -- a combination that is not uncommon in many parts of the Muslim world. Having been a journalist in Egypt for six years in the seventies, I have witnessed socialism with an Islamic twist to be a popular political ideology, especially amongst Arab journalists and intellectuals. Socialism, and even communism, have managed to survive in the ruthless Islamic political system

"Honored to see First Lady Michelle Obama wearing our Spring 2013 dress at the final presidential debate," boasted the Twitter account of fashion label Thom Browne soon after Monday night's debate. Yet over at the Twitter account of OscarPRGirl, the official publicist for Oscar de la Renta, not a word was uttered about the fact that Ann Romney had donned a dark teal dress from the designer's collection. But that's nothing new. Designers, stylists and fashion industry publicists routinely clamor to outfit First Lady Michelle Obama, with press releases flying out the door

President Barack Obama said that he is “in a lot of ways” less liberal than former Republican President Richard Nixon and said Fox News Channel´s Bill O’Reilly has been “absolutely” unfair to him throughout his presidency in an interview that aired Monday night. “In a lot of ways Richard Nixon was more liberal than I was,” Obama said. “He started the EPA, started a whole lot of the regulatory state that has helped keep our air and water clean.” Obama´s comments came in response to O´Reilly asking him if he was “the most liberal president of all time.” Obama also listed Franklin

President Barack Obama sat down with Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly for a pre-Super Bowl interview, a reprise of the Q&A the two did before the 2011 game, and Obama’s sixth straight pre-Super Bowl interview. O’Reilly grilled Obama on why Kathleen Sebelius had not been fired, noting that he as a taxpayer was paying her salary, and also asked if Obama thought the “If you like your plan you can keep your plan” claim was his “biggest mistake?” Obama responded to both queries by arguing that the implementation of the Affordable Care Act was an ongoing process, and he was committed to

In November, the U.S. Postal Service reported it had a $5 billion loss for Fiscal Year 2013, its seventh consecutive year with loss. At the time, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe blamed Congress for the loss, citing an “inflexible business model.” “We’ve achieved some excellent results for the year in terms of innovations, revenue gains, and cost reductions, but without major legislative changes we cannot overcome the limitations of our inflexible business model,” Donahoe said. “Congress is moving forward with legislation that has the potential to give us greater flexibility and put us back on a firm financial footing

We´ve had the Gaymmys; we´ve had Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson suspended for expressing unfavorable comments about anal intercourse; HBO has a new series, Looking about three gay men looking for love. It seems as though just about every television show, whether comedy or drama now has a gay character as a regular. It´s not surprising that homosexuality has become mainstream in our culture because nearly everyone has a relative or friend who is gay and we have been deeply influenced by those words of Harvey Fierstein who said, "I just want to be loved. Is that so wrong?" What we

President Barack Obama again denied any wrongdoing by the IRS over their targeting of conservative tea party groups, telling Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” in the way the tax enforcer processed tea partiers’ 501(c)4 paperwork. (Snip) “So you’re saying there was no corruption there at all?” O’Reilly asked. “Absolutely not,” the president replied. “There were some bone-headed decisions out of a local office.” “But no mass corruption?” O’Reilly persisted. “Not even mass corruption,” a visibly-annoyed Obama replied. “Not even a smidgen of corruption.” It’s a far cry from Obama’s May 2013 statement called the targeting “outrageous.”

Coca-Cola´s Super Bowl ad has sparked both outrage and kudos on Twitter and Facebook. The ad, entitled "America the Beautiful," features the patriotic song sung in eight languages. The ad shows people of different ethnicities. The ad also shows two dads rollerskating with their daughter. This was the first Super Bowl ad to feature a gay family, according to GLAAD, a lesbian gay, bisexual and transgender media advocacy organization. The inclusion of different languages sparked comments on Coca-Cola´s Facebook page calling the ad a disgrace and unpatriotic. "Speak English or go home," said one commenter on the page. As the commentary around the recent deaths of Nelson Mandela, Amiri Baraka and Pete Seeger made abundantly clear, most of what Americans think they know about capitalism and communism is arrant nonsense. This is not surprising, given our country’s history of Red Scares designed to impress that anti-capitalism is tantamount to treason. In 2014, though, we are too far removed from the Cold War-era threat of thermonuclear annihilation to continue without taking stock of the hype we’ve been made, despite Harry Allen’s famous injunction, to believe. So, here are seven bogus claims people make about communism and capitalism. 1. Only

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—Peyton Manning is 37 years old. He has had four neck surgeries. He has admitted he doesn´t have the arm he used to. But despite all that, it took him until Sunday night to look truly helpless. Like he was staring at something even he, the most prepared quarterback in NFL history, couldn´t navigate. It seemed like the quarterback who had always thought of everything had nothing left. The Seattle Seahawks wrecked Manning and his historically spectacular offense to win Super Bowl XLVIII, 43-8, in one of the biggest blowouts in the history of the league´s biggest game.

According to Nielsen TV data through mid-January, the average age of Fox News viewers is 68-years-old. In Frank Rich´s New York Magazine article, ´Stop Beating a Dead Fox´ he calls Fox News a politically conservative ´retirement community´ that´s losing young viewers at a faster rate than it´s competitors. The average viewers at MSNBC and CNN are 60, and the average is 62-64 for the broadcast networks. Not only are Fox News viewers old, they´re almost all white. Rich points out that only 1.1 per cent of Fox News viewers are black. That´s a far lower number than other news networks. MSNCB has a 25

One of the biggest blowouts in Super Bowl history was capped by one of the biggest blunders in regional transit history.Overwhelmed by a record number of riders, NJ Transit kept fans waiting after the game for hours for shuttle trains from MetLife Stadium.
