Radio´s Laura Ingraham off the air
Associated Press, by Staff

Original Article

NEW YORK- Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham is off the air - at least temporarily. She said Tuesday that she´s leaving her distributor, Talk Radio Network, after more than nine years because her contract is up. Ingraham said she is in discussions with other distributors about her show, which currently airs on 325 stations nationally. Talkers magazine says the conservative Ingraham is the most-listened to woman on radio, with an estimated 5.75 million listeners a week. Talkers said that ranks her among the top eight radio hosts overall.

She´s been off the air here since November 1 when her station went 24/7 Christmas music. There are almost no talk radio stations left in Louisville. I would get paranoid, but they´re after me.

I love Laura. She was on a station here in the KC area at 9 am then recently not. Maybe that is one reason she is fishing.

... is his site worth the price of subscription?

Would it ´play´ in the background like Limbaugh´s show?

You know what I mean.

I miss him from Fox ...

I was a loyal listener for years but I stopped listening about a year ago when I finally could not endure her saying – “You’re listening to the Laura Ingraham Show.” – every fourteen seconds. Okay, I exaggerate. But, roughly seven or eight times per hour was not at all unusual. If she were to omit that annoying, repetitive, unnecessary (Duh! I KNOW what I’m listening to!) verbal crutch-like tic, I’d probably reinstate my audience membership.

Laura, in the words of your pal, TV Factor Boy, “Wise up!”

Michael Savage was also with Talk Radio Network, fought a long legal battle and got out with something near a million dollars in damages, plus his back tapes.

Agree with a few others here in that while Laura Ingraham´s content is acceptable, I find her tone and delivery annoying and thus do not listen.

I thought it would be great if CBS would hire her for the Evening news. Let her be editor too.
And romney should have cleaned house and made her his director. Should have paid her what she wanted. He can afford it and he´d be moving into the WH.
But I wish that she would stop saying that this person or that is a great person when they are really horrible. Sheneeds to move out of the area to get some perspective...

Ms. Laura should, like Sean Hannity, have her show broadcasted on both radio and television. She is that good!.......Here´s a suggestion Roger: (A) Reassign the Levittown, Long Island Leprechaun to a different time slot and (B) Give the the brilliant attractive Ms. Ingraham the prime time hours of 8-9 PM EST. You will be glad, not sad, you did!

Fox News should start its own version of ´´The View,´´ featuring Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Condi Rice, and Sarah Palin sitting around a table discussing the news of the day.

Each one of those women has more humor, intelligence, good looks, and charisma than the entire Fox network team of anchors combined.

How long will mediocrity continue to reign supreme at Fox News?

Go Beck! - Laura, go somewhere you can speak the untrammeled truth, Fox is dying from sameness of analysts, round tablers, and liberal over saturation - Lou Dobbs and Greta are still worth watching-they at least allow the courtesy of letting their guests speak more than one sentence without bozo type interruptions. The Five are quite entertaining almost the answer to the View - why not invite an audience to the Five?

Her constant whining about Romney refusing to come on her show got me hooting with laughter. Why should he when all she did was criticize everything he did?

Note: This post was inspired by the #DropDropbox campaign. On March 20 the University of California, Irvine, announced that Barack Obama will give the commence address to its class of 2014. This is deeply disturbing, and anyone—or any university—who values ethics should be concerned. Why is this? Because he was part of the failed Obama administration? It makes sense that UC Irvine would want an accomplished, high-level, well-connected individual as their commencement speaker. There is no doubt that Barack Obama is an

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

President Obama inspired a generation of young people to support his historic election in 2008. And in 2012, despite the struggles of his first term, Mr. Obama still managed to win the support of a full 60% of voters age 18-29. But the man who once dreamed of being a transformative leader in the Reagan mold is inspiring few of those young people to follow his lead. "For all the talk about the movement that elected Mr. Obama, the more notable movement of Obama supporters has been away from politics. It appears that few of the young people who voted

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K
