| Gov. Christie put any speculation about his future plans to rest Monday, announcing that he would run for a second term as governor next November. The 50-year-old Republican made the announcement while visiting police and fire crews at Port Monmouth, one of many Shore towns ravaged by Sandy last month, saying the storm cemented his decision. "The public needs to know that I´m in this for the long haul. That the person that led them through the initial crisis wants to be here to lead them through the rebuilding and restoration of our state," he said.

When the Dems nominate their candidate, the press that built Christie up will turn on him as they did McCain, Dole and Romney. What they build up, they can destroy and will if it is a Republican. Like Obama, they thought Busch was a joke candidate.

Christie is a huge RINO, but he is as close to a Republican that we can dream of getting is an ultra lie-beral hell hole like Jersey. So I hope he does run for re-election and win there.
However, I sure hope he doesn´t plan on taking his political career to the federal level, because he´s sure not getting any support from most Republicans if he does.
The images of him drooling all over NØbama and Springstein are forever burned into our memories...

Christie´s National aspirations were always a pipe dream. A simple reading of his policies would show his absolute addiction to Federal Dollars and who would he borrow from if he was President?
Chris Christie stabbed the Country in the heart, all to get a smoooch from Bruce.
I even doubt he is intelligent enough to realilze that Bruce´s disdain for him grew when he groveled before the Wan.

WASHINGTON -- One of the two women who videotaped allegations that New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez paid her for sex has said in an affidavit that she was paid to make the story up, according to a report Monday in the Washington Post. The woman also said she has never met nor seen the Democratic senator, the Post reported, citing court documents and two people briefed on her claim. Instead, in an affidavit she said she and a colleague were paid by a lawyer to make up the claims and read from a script, according to the Post.

Dying is effortless. That became clear to me as I lay on a gurney in an emergency department bay at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. It was 10 p.m., almost five hours since my primary-care physician Michael Cirigliano (better known as Dr. Mike from Fox29) diagnosed me as septic, bundled me into his car, and rushed me to the hospital. After several hours of intravenous antibiotics and four liters of fluid, my blood pressure was crashing, a hallmark of sepsis, a potentially fatal condition caused by an exaggerated immune response to injury or infection.

An 80-year-old woman was knocked off her scooter when she tried to fight off a man robbing her of her purse in Gloucester City. Police allege that 22-year-old John E. Reed approached the woman from behind while she was riding her electric scooter on the 500 block of Cumberland Street at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Reed grabbed the woman´s purse and tried to flee, but the woman wouldn´t let go, according to Gloucester City police. He then pushed the woman, knocking her off the scooter, and ran away with the purse.

Recent college graduates and even those who have been out of school for several years now are finding an increasingly harder time getting a job in this economy. The amount of young adults – from ages 18 to 29 – who are unemployed rose over 1.5 percent in January to 13.1 percent, according to statistics released Friday. The overall unemployment rate had a smaller increase - rising 0.1 percent to 7.9 percent - according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

A 5-year-old girl abducted from a West Philadelphia elementary Monday was found early this morning barely dressed and crying in an Upper Darby playground, say police. Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said that Nailla Robinson, taken by an unidentified woman in a black Muslim-style face covering from the Bryant Elementary School just across the border in Philadelphia, was found about 4:40 a.m. today. Authorities say they believe the child was targeted, but did not know the woman who abducted her.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
