Obama warns Republicans rejecting
tax offer will spoil Christmas

Fox News, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 11/26/2012 3:47:17 PM

President Obama returned to campaign mode on Monday – casting Republicans as against the middle class by saying their failure to accept his offer for a limited extension of tax breaks will essentially ruin Christmas for consumers and retailers. Obama laid out his case in an open letter that starts by underscoring its timing -- coming on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, Cyber Monday, in which consumers take advantage of online bargains. (Snip) "The time for campaigning is over," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Monday from the chamber floor.

Comments:
As 0bama leads his "children" over the "fiscal cliff," there were no golden parachutes to be seen except for members of Congress.

Question: Does this mean that Mitch McConnell is going to be able to reign in his defecting GOP senators? Stay tuned.

What Reid is proposing would neuter the entire Repub. Senate and could get passed by fiat, any damn thing he wants with just 51 votes instead of the 60 vote threshold as is currently the Law. Please begin to pay attention to what the Respubs. are trying to do to save our Republic.

Time for the GOP to smarten up. They need to accept if they don´t lead - no one will. Obama had two years to deal with the fiscal situation we now face. He choose to put it off til after the election. Now he is trying to bully the republicans because of his own choices.

If they cave - they are idiots and there is no use in having them. Let Christmas be ruined. Let ALL the Bush Tax Cuts expire and let the House republicans and the GOP governors begin to lead to country toward fiscal sanity and prosperity.
