For Fourth Straight Year,
Obama´s Thanksgiving Message
Doesn´t Thank God

Breitbart Big Government, by Ben Shapiro

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 11/22/2012 10:13:42 PM

Yet again, President Obama’s Thanksgiving message eschewed any direct reference to thanking God, making this the fourth straight year in which the President of the United States has ignored the central message of the holiday in favor of political grandstanding. This year, Obama’s central message was that now that he’s been re-elected, Americans should agree with all of his policies. His unity routine sounds strangely empty after a campaign in which he focused on dividing Americans: But most of all, it’s a time to give thanks for each other, and for the incredible bounty we enjoy.

Obama is so proud of all HIS accomplishments. HE feels no need to thank any God for anything. HE has not yet seen the hand writing on the wall. I hope it happens in public so we can watch and laugh as he craps his pants.

Years ago, I was visiting the family of my fiance, and his mother made me feel most unwelcome. This woman was driving us to a shop in her car and was carrying on in a horribly unpleasant manner. She got out of the car, stepped on a rock, and broke her foot. I thought to myself, "There is a God."
(Soon after, I broke the engagement and met a wonderful Christian man who is the love of my life.)

That "bolt of lightening" is long overdue to The Won who mocks God.

I noticed that after reading his statement. His only reference to God was regarding hurricane Sandy, when he said, "There but for the grace of God Go I", another example of his utter preoccupation with himself.

So our Christian President is a godless one, unless he is talking about "slandering the Prophet", at which time he gets particularly exercised.

By the way, why is that "video maker" still in jail?

I could not believe it yesterday when one of the pastors of a conservative Christian church of which I´m a member actually read Obama´s Thanksgiving proclamation from the pulpit. Why not Lincoln´s instead, or one from another president who actually mentioned Jesus Christ and our heavenly Father as those to whom we should give thanks? When the churches go this way, then you know that all is lost until He comes in judgment.

#18 – The idiom, “There but for the grace of God go I,” is a well-intentioned expression of one’s appreciation for God’s saving grace in protecting that individual from harm; however, the phrase carries with it an unintended, subtle suggestion that the individual(s) upon whom tragedy had befallen are the recipients of God’s punishment.

ITA with #34´s comment. Along with many others who prayed that God would intervene and give us new leadership, I was stunned at the election results.

It still stings, but I know that God is in control and watching over us very carefully. For whatever reason, God has given us Obama for four more years, and one day we will know why. I trust Him to bring good out of this mess we´re in right now.

Meanwhile, the "Golden Calf" worshipers should pony up and pay for his inauguration expenses. They can sell their Obamaphones and send in the proceeds.

A Supreme Court hearing that aired all sorts of ways someone might try to assassinate the president did not bode well Wednesday for a group of protesters suing two Secret Service agents for allegedly mistreating them at a 2004 appearance of President George W. Bush. Several justices seemed concerned about whether the free speech rights of anti-Bush protesters in Jacksonville, Ore., had been violated. They were kept farther away from the president than another group that supported him, and there is no allegation that the demonstrators meant the president any harm. But the court gave no indication that it would let

AUSTIN, Texas— A federal appeals court on Thursday upheld Texas´ tough new abortion restrictions that shuttered many of the abortions clinics in the state. The Obama administration is prepared to give prospective Obamacare enrollees another half-month to signup for insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act website, healthcare.gov, treating the law´s March 31 regulatory deadline as a formality for Americans who claim they tried in earnest to sign up in time. During a March 12 congressional hearing, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told Texas Republican Rep. Kevin Brady that there would be no such extensions. ´Are you going to delay the open enrollment beyond March 31?´ Brady asked. ´No, sir,´ she replied. He added that some of the users who experienced problems with the website early on need more time, partially because “people are not educated about how to use the internet.” “There’s no hiccup or delay,” Reid insisted. “We had hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up and

The Obama Administration announced (another) extension of the enrollment deadline for Obamacare signups. At first glance, these two events have little in common with one another. But, modern politics is all about narratives and storylines. And, both of these events confirm a growing concern from the public about President Obama: That he´s just not up to governing his administration and, by extension, the country, effectively.
