CRIPPLING loss??????????????????

Nearly half the country preferred him to Obama. I think the Republicans should thank Mitt for fighting the good fight and stop the circular firing squad. Mitt is right about the "gifts" to voters. Why don´t the Republicans just admit it.

Not hard to imagine what some other politicians chug (or choom) after a loss.

Whatever differences we conservatives had with Romney, I think there is one thing most of us agree on:
A Romney victory would have portended a vastly improved economy ... which would have benefited everyone.

Romney and his family gave it their all. For that I salute them, and wish them the happiest life they can have. (Though that will be hard in Obama´s Brave New America.)

Romney´s at Disneyland. Everyone else is being taken to the cleaners.

Mitt at a gas station pumping his own petrol was pretty cool also. He´s the only real, down to earth person in or out of politics.

America will be crippled by Obama.
The Romneys ran a great campaign and I appreciate what they did. We had the chance to turn the country around, but the have-nots are too in love with free stuff.

Romney won. He knows the truth. We know the truth.

Obama did NOT win by a and slide. He has never worked for anything or earned anything on his own.

Mitt Romney will always be a winner because he has worked and been successful in his life. He is a decent man with a wonderful loving family. He still has his family and life will go on for them. Unfortunately, life will decline for most Americans.

Last night that worm brian williams did a hit piece on Romney that showed him with the disheveled look pumping his own gas. williams juxtaposed that view with the secret service protected campaign season. Of course during the campaign there was no regular guy Romney coverage just the mean, privileged venture capitalist who fired workers and killed women cancer victims. I hate brIan williams.

Mitt says he´s moving to California? Why would any wealthy man want to do that after voters approved Proposition 30 that raises taxes on his income bracket? Let´s hope that he´s planning to run for governor or senator, and do something to restore the Republican party to what is was there under Reagan.

Mitt´s a winner. All the rest of us are losers because of what 62 million idiots did on November 6.

(We mapped out a trip to Disney World and was like, ummm, then looked at a longer trip to Europe and it was cheaper. We went to Europe. Disney parks are a money black hole unparalelled in the known universe.)

Good for them. If truth be told - they are more like you and me than President Obama and Joe Biden. If you listened to anything during the campaign, his kids and people who knew them (and someone who bought a house from them in Utah) how hands on he is with his family and personal life. Just because you are "wealthy" doesn´t mean you have people waiting on you hand and foot.

Mitt Romney didn´t lose anywhere near what the Anerican people lost on Nov 6. He only lost an election, they lost a free and independent future.

Mitt was rich and getting richer, he didn´t need to be president to be successful. He just felt that he owed it to the country where he made his fortune to help it out of a crisis.

The american people have voted twice now for incompetence and dependency. They will reap the whirlwind and have no one else to blame but themselves.

All the best to a great man and his family. He may have to change his name to John Galt and disappear in the wrath to come. The guillotines are about to be brought out of storage by the unwashed masses hell bent on retribution for their sorry lives.

He doesn´t need us. America needed him.

Those "republicans" who stayed home because Mitt wasn´t conservative enough for them, or because they don´t like Mormons, can live with the consequences of their inaction.

I voted, and earned the right to complain about what is coming down the pike.

I´m appalled! indignant! Imagine that: the cheeky guy pumped his own gas and paid for it with his own money, and then he takes his family on vacation and pays his own money for that! Will the horrors never end?

I believe Mitt Romney would have been one of our great presidents. What a shame.

Although I would have preferred a more conservative candidate, I am proud to have supported Mitt Romney (wish I could have done more than I was able to) because he seems like a very decent man. America needs more like him.

The alternative is frightening.

Decent and normal seem to have become a curiosity these days.

I just hope he filed an amended tax return and claimed the deductions that he did not take the first time.

And I´ll bet Obama would love to change places with him. More tears are shed over answered prayers than this world dreams of. Obama can ride the fiscal cliff and play Hamas wars.

Is Romney a family values kinda guy, decent, generous and kindhearted? Indeed. In contrast, Churchill was a mean and ugly drunk who publicly ridiculed his Ministers, Admirals and Generals. Von Bismarck drove anyone who crossed him from Government. TR was bombastic, volatile and contemptuous of Congress. MacArthur was imperious and condescending to all but his wife. None were nice guys whom Romney will ever be confused with. But as Lord Acton observed; "Good men are never great men". Obama had an effective unemployment rate approaching 17%, stratospheric borrowing in the trillions and reeked of arrogant incompetence. Yet Willard managed to snach defeat from victory in a very winnable election. Perhaps the light will go on some day for Romney´s fans who will come to grips w/the stone cold reality that, despite his nice guy persona, breeding, manners and schooling; Romney was a loser from day one.

Not a cool guy, but a great guy. America´s loss. It´s like we benched Peyton Manning for Michael Vick. See you in the unemployment line ladies, blacks, Asians, and Latinos!

Per the Daily Mail, Mitt Romney should be off in a dark corner clad in a hair-shirt being very sad for himself. Somebody tell Disneyland to bar the gates the next time he drops by. As for Romney´s other outrage of the week, he was fairly well known when governor of Massachusetts to pump his own gas and run his own errands, even though he had I believe a very frustrated state police detail expecting to do those things for him. As for his "unceremoniously unkempt" hair, I think that´s usually called "wind-blown."

Per #28 (and his BFF Lord Acton), goodness is beneath his contempt. Thanks for the warning.
