97 Republicans Tell Obama
to Drop Susan Rice for State

Breitbart´s Big Government, by William Bigelow

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 11/20/2012 4:42:45 PM

Ninety-seven members of Congress, led by Jeff Duncan (R –SC), are leading the charge against Barack Obama’s reputed choice of Ambassador Susan Rice to be Secretary of State. They have written a letter strongly opposing the idea of her nomination because of her lies about the Benghazi attack, and aver that because she misled the American public, her actions give the world, friends and enemies of the U.S. reason to question America’s commitment and credibility. The Congressmen don’t stop there; they charge Obama’s administration with denying Congress critical information necessary

Comments:
Susan Rice needs to be brought before Congress to testify, under oath, as to what she knew about Ambassador Steven´s murder in Benghazi & when. At hearings is a good way. Also, for the Congressman to accuse various 0bama administration officials, no matter how high up the food chain, leaves HIM protected. He must be accused, directly, whether he testifies or not.

The President´s schedule includes a Daily Security Briefing ( sometimes called by other names ) . Researching this matter, one finds that, other than the fact that President Obama frequently skips these meetings, agencies that review the report by the CIA may ADD information to the report, but in no case have I found that another agency can DELETE or CHANGE the report, as is claimed in the Libyan terrorist fiasco. Hopefully other readers and/or folks commenting can verify or disprove this. If the WH is using another agency as a scapegoat, it is well worth pursuing. Mr Petreaus had to know that his report had been altered based on the President´s public statements as well as the talking points of Ms Rice and others in the Administration.

On Sunday, former CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson revealed that she regularly received calls from representatives with the media monitoring group Media Matters for America with offers to help craft stories. On Friday, Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy said that CBS needs to respond to the charge that Attkisson was “targeted” by MMFA, which he said was an outlet dedicated to disseminating “propaganda.” “Keep in mind, Media Matters is a George Soros-funded, way left-of-center political group,” Doocy informed Fox’s audience on Monday. “And for a bona fide member of the mainstream media to be taking their

Most voters say ObamaCare will play an important role in their vote in this year’s elections, and over half are more inclined to back the candidate who opposes the health care law. That’s according to a Fox News poll released Monday. The new poll asks voters what they would do if the only difference between two congressional candidates is that one promises to fight for the health care law and the other promises to fight against it. By a 53-39 percent margin, more voters say they would back the anti-ObamaCare candidate. Independents, always a key voting bloc, would back that candidate by a 25 percentage-point margin (54-29 percent, with another

Washington - The US Supreme Court takes up a major case this week that could dramatically change how Americans watch television. The case involves a New York-based company that charges $8 a month to allow subscribers to watch broadcast television programs on their computer, tablet, or smart phone via the Internet. The company, Aereo, Inc., can keep its subscription price low in part because it pays nothing – zero – to the major broadcast companies for access to their programming. The broadcast companies aren’t happy about it. They sued Aereo, claiming the little firm is stealing their copyright-protected programming and

Trenton, N.J. - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has been named a Father of the Year by the National Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council. The Republican governor has four children ranging from ages 10 to 20. He often talks about them in public. Christie has joked that having dinner with all of them has given him experience in being yelled at, and he has boasted about having a rare family — one without video games. Christie attracted scrutiny in 2011 when he used a state police helicopter to fly to his son Andrew’s baseball game. He repaid the cost. The other honoree so far this year is shoe designer Vince Camuto.

There’s no good way to break it to you, D.C. license holders. You’re going to have to make a trip to the DMV, all 540,000 of you. Starting May 1, the District will start issuing REAL ID licenses that conform to stringent federal regulations, the Department of Motor Vehicles announced last week. Any driver’s license issued before that date will need to be replaced by Oct. 1, to enter certain federal buildings and by 2016 to board a domestic flight (alternatively, a passport can still be used). All other licenses, permits and identification cards issued by the DMV also are affected by the new regulations.

DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. “On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist
