Seven Truths About Israel,
Hamas and Violence

Bloomberg News, by Jeffrey Goldberg

There are many lies being told about the current conflict between Israel and Hamas. Here are seven things that are true. (Snip) No. 2. Hamas’s strategy in this latest conflict makes perfect sense. Hamas, which is the Palestine branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, is theologically committed to the obliteration of Israel and believes, as a matter of faith, that Jews are Allah’s enemies. Its leaders have believed, since the group’s inception, that Jews are soft (“We love death and they love life,” a Hamas leader once told me, and it is a commonly expressed thought). Hamas also believes that eventually misery and fear

After reading this little primer, I realize that their conflict(s), can only one way: Israel must eventually conquer these animals to stop them [for whatever time it is] from the random killing of Jews worldwide. And, those of US who support them.

Proving once again that if the Arabs lay down down their arms there would be peace.
If the Israelis lays down their arms they would cease to exist.

the author asserts that making Gaza into Dresden would be immoral. Actually it is the only solution besides the genocide of the Jews. We must understand that Hamas plans the death of all the Jews. Only the Gazans can dissuade their leaders of the foolishness of this path. The way the Chinese make this point is they drag their politicians out into the streets and beat them to death with what ever is handy. This task is the moral obligation of the Gazan citizenry, if they themselves wish to avoid the genocide they planned for the Jews.

According to the BBC, we are all Nazis now. The only good Jew is a dead Jew. Kill all the Jews and there will be peace in the world.
According to our Lame-Stream Media, Israel attacked the poor helpless Palestinians without provocation. A rain of missiles is apparently not a provocation.
Suicide bombers are not a provocation.
I suppose that only the obliteration of Israel by carpet bombing with nuclear missiles would constitute a provocation, but then there would be no one left to retaliate.

Come on. It is the old dream of Martin Luther. Kill all the Jews, tear down their synagogues, and salt the land so nothing will grow there ever again. Hitler picked this up in his own church.

Luther was preceded by Mohammed, who expressed the same sentiments.

No Peace. Not now. Not ever.

Why Hillary Clinton´s past is
fair game in presidential race
Washington Examiner [DC], by Byron York    Original Article

There´s a debate going on about Hillary Clinton´s past. If she runs for president in 2016, should Republicans reach back to the scandals of her years as First Lady? Or should they focus on more recent times, especially her tenure as Secretary of State, to build a case against her? The GOP doesn´t have to choose. Of course Clinton´s recent experiences are relevant to a presidential run. But so are her actions in the 90s, the 80s and even the 70s. It´s not ancient history; it reveals something about who Clinton was and still is. And re-examining her past is entirely consistent with practices in recent campaigns. In the 2012 presidential race,

Ding-dong, Cap One calling. Credit card issuer Capital One isn´t shy about getting into customers´ faces. The company recently sent a contract update to cardholders that makes clear it can drop by any time it pleases. The update specifies that "we may contact you in any manner we choose" and that such contacts can include calls, emails, texts, faxes or a "personal visit." As if that weren´t creepy enough, Cap One says these visits can be "at your home and at your place of employment." The police need a court order to pull off something like that. But Cap One says it has the right to get up close and personal anytime, anywhere.

U.N. report catalogs North

Beijing - Torture, deliberate starvation and other abuses carried out by North Korean authorities — possibly on the orders of leader Kim Jong Un — are crimes against humanity and should be referred to an international court or tribunal for prosecution, United Nations investigators said Monday. A 400-page report catalogs practices long cited by defectors and human rights activists, but their inclusion in a comprehensive document compiled by a U.N.-appointed panel appears to be unprecedented. It was accompanied by a three-page letter to Kim warning that under international law he could be held responsible for atrocities committed by underlings.

Washington - The Monica Lewinsky scandal has returned to US politics, after a fashion - Sen. Rand Paul (R) of Kentucky raised it late last month on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” saying President Bill Clinton engaged in “predatory behavior” in his affair with the young intern in 1995 and 1996. Since then the Clinton/Lewinsky subject has arisen on many political chat shows as hosts ask guests to discuss its possible significance to a Hillary Clinton presidential candidacy. David Gregory asked Mitt Romney the Lewinsky question on “Meet the Press” on Sunday, for instance. The 2012 GOP nominee started off by

Of all the time-honored failings for which we criticize sitting presidents — by "we" I mean pundits, academics and other members of the chattering phylum — two charges stand out: imperialism and shrinkage. Usually it´s one or the other. When the president is unpopular or when he´s lost control of his agenda or when he just seems inadequate to the demands of the job, the headline "The Incredible Shrinking Presidency" proliferates like kudzu. When the Republicans lost control of Congress in 2006, the Economist proclaimed "The Incredible Shrinking Presidency" of George W. Bush on its cover. Barack Obama has been

Donald Trump couldn’t pass up the opportunity to say, “You’re fired” to an underling — even when the man offered to resign. Furious over a snarky Buzzfeed article about his political aspirations, the developer took a page out of his TV show, “The Apprentice,’’ and booted the adviser who had urged him to do the interview. “I told [Trump] when he fired me, ‘Sir, I’m willing to offer you my resignation.’ He didn’t accept that,’’ 32-year-old political consultant Sam Nunberg told The Post. But “this is not unfair, honestly,’’ insisted Nunberg, who lives on the Upper East Side. “I failed Mr. Trump, and that’s the long and short of it.”

Rancho Mirage, Calif. - President Barack Obama marked the five-year anniversary of a controversial economic stimulus plan by releasing a report on Monday saying that government spending averted a second Great Depression, setting off a new round of partisan debate about the decision. Obama had been in office only a month when he signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, a $787 billion stimulus that Democratic majorities in both the Senate and House of Representatives passed over the objections of Republicans. Many Americans remain doubtful about how helpful the stimulus was for an economy that still

Sarah Palin has made an endorsement in Texas. She’s backing tea party leader Katrina Pierson over Rep. Pete Sessions. In a Facebook post, Palin notes that Pierson’s “life’s story is full of hardships she has fought to overcome, which taught her firsthand the importance of self-reliance, hard work, and the blessings of liberty.” One of those hardships includes a 1997 arrest for shoplifting. As the Dallas Morning News reported on Valentine’s Day, “In 1997, five days before her 21st birthday, Katrina Pierson, then named Katrina Lanette Shaddix, was arrested on a charge of theft of greater than $50 and less than $500.” Pierson,

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, may be the brightest light to adorn the Republican Party in many years. He knows how to make the case for conservative ideas, pointing, for example, to the contrasting fates of Detroit and Houston to illustrate the superiority of conservative policies. So it´s particularly galling to see that rather than train his fire at President Barack Obama and the liberal machine that cocoons him, Cruz has become a one-man wrecking ball against Republicans. His most recent foray into sabotaging his colleagues concerned the debt limit increase. Because Speaker John Boehner sent over a "clean" debt limit bill,

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel (R-Ky.) are now in position to end the Tea Party’s death grip on the Republican Party’s political future. Last week, Boehner and McConnell faced down the Tea Party’s threat to cripple the government when they supported raising the nation’s debt ceiling. That move prevented GOP political suicide. If the nation’s credit rating, stocks and the recovery went down the sewer because of Republicans’ refusal to raise the debt ceiling, the GOP’s chances in the midterm elections would have been severely damaged. Having successfully defied the Tea Party on the debt ceiling, now

How much more are black people in this country supposed to take? On Saturday, a Florida jury failed to convict Michael Dunn for the callous murder of Jordan Davis. Though he was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and also on a gun charge, a mistrial was declared for the first-degree murder charge. He will face substantial jail time – perhaps up to 75 years on the four charges for which he was found guilty. Prosecutor Angela Corey has also publicly declared her intent to seek retrial on the murder conviction. However, she is the same prosecutor who oversaw the Zimmerman

Listening to pundits talk about the potential 2016 Republican field, you’d be forgiven for forgetting about Rick Santorum. The former senator’s strong second-place showing in 2012 shocked—even scared—the GOP’s kingmakers, who saw in him an abortion-hating firebrand with no chance of beating Barack Obama. So it’s no surprise that today, the party’s mainstreamers are acting like he’s old news, again dismissing a Santorum presidential candidacy. Not that he cares. He’s too busy plotting another possible run at the White House. In recent months, Santorum has gathered his inner circle of longtime advisers to sketch out a presidential campaign. As American voters watch ObamaCare continue its Godzilla-like rampage across the national health-care landscape, it´s worth considering the collateral damage this political monster may be doing to the Democratic brand itself. What if ObamaCare´s problems become a metaphor for the modern Democratic Party? Two portents emerged the past week. The United Auto Workers suffered a humiliating defeat at Volkswagen VOW3.XE -0.49% in Tennessee. And days before that loss, voters San Diego elected Republican Kevin Faulconer mayor after he teed up his opponent as a captive of the city´s public unions. Two big constituencies sacked in a week.

We do need more degrees that lead to #jobs,” Rubio tweeted Wednesday. On Tuesday, it was revealed that Obama sent a handwritten apology to University of Texas art professor Ann Collins Johns for remarks he made at a GE factory in Wisconsin suggesting students were better off studying subjects more likely to land them jobs than studying art history.
