A 14-year-old girl has told in horrifying detail of the moment she secretly delivered her baby with a pair of scissors in the family bathroom before throttling the newborn and hiding the body in a shoe box. Cassidy Goodison, 14, has been charged as an adult with first-degree murder after police learned how she killed her child following months of disguising the pregnancy from her parents. In a video reconstruction, using a Santa Claus doll as a model for the baby, Goodison sat in the bathroom of her Florida home to show investigators what she did. Scroll down for video

Sounds like what Dims would call a late term abortion! No respect for life at all any more.

Had she killed him before he was out of her body Obama would be fine with it. I cannot believe the society we live in.

Exactly, no respect for life. That view has permeated all aspects of our society. I blame the entertainment industry for a lot of it combined with our self-centered society

Doll...baby....doll...baby.....no difference. Look at her stupid, empty eyes.

Kids see the Democratic National Convention filled with speakers from the abortion industry.

Young women grow up in households being taught that the world revolves around sex and their own vagina; nothing is more sacred. God, love, and life itself have been replaced by elevating the female sex organs to a level of religious awe.

Young women grow up seeing that if you go along with the pro-death teachings, you are warmly embraced. If you don´t and you are a woman who publicly state values of life and family, they make fictional movies about you that paint you as insane, as they did with Sarah Palin.

And we wonder how kids can think this way.

I don´t know if you folks remember about 10 years ago a pretty young cheerleader killed her baby the same way, and stuffed it in a garbage bag. Although many were shocked, there was an outpouring of support for this person, how "beautiful" and "frightened" she was. I do not remember if she received jail time.

Remember, it´s the mothers choice, right?

We live in a society that thinks teenage sex is inevitable, that the way to deal with it is by handing out condoms in school and that the right to abort a baby is guaranteed by the US Constitution. It should be no surprise that this young girl thought it was no big deal to kill something that a few minutes before was just a "fetus." Where is the "father" by the way? Is this a case of statutory rape?

This 14 year old who is being charged as an "adult" would be a "child" had her teacher had sex with her. The world (with the US leading the way) has gone completely bonkers.

Watch a lawyer argue that this sub-human girl deliberately tried to pry the baby out of the womb and that it should be technically considered an abortion. Consequently it would seem to be legal in what used to be the United States.

She´s just doing what she wants with her own body /s.

This statement ignores the fact that there are 2 bodies.

Truly heartbreaking and infuriating.

Remember the scenes in It´s A Wonderful Life where Jimmy Stewart sees how his town would be if he weren´t there? The debauchery? That´s what we´re living in now.

Her parents should also be on trial, what kind of parents instill such fear into a child, that she could not confide in them.

I suspect there was a history of abuse or neglect here.

I agree with most of the comments here, although I don´t see any logical tie-in between her trial as an adult and legalizing sex between children and adults entrusted to work with them (teachers, priests, etc.).

Anyway, this girl´s empty eyes are disturbing. They may indeed show us an empty soul. Perhaps it´s there because of sexual abuse earlier in life, but no matter; she´s a monster now. In cases like hers, perhaps placement in adult prisons will keep her away from society and if her sentence is sufficient (life with no parole, death penalty), she will never breed and kill an innocent child again.

Next will be all the media stories about how she was just a child and didn´t realize what she was doing. After all brains aren´t fully developed until people are 25 or 26 and then watch her get a pass. Same old story...another dead baby who was utterly defenseless and a selfish, young woman who goes scot free....oh, her punishment will be living with what she did...yeah, right.

None of this pain and anquish was God´s idea. He created a perfect world and it is we who have screwed it up with our rebellion against him. He waits patiently for as many as will to turn to him before he ends this present age and gives us a Kingdom that will be all you could ever hope for or dream of.

As for this tragic girl and her terrible decision, she is truly not to be held to adult standards for this. She was a child herself and her parents should be held to account.

#23, she is not a child. She is in high school.

I remember very well being in 9th grade in high school. Kids were having sex, smoking dope. I saw bullying going on all the time, and the kids had a great time enjoying it. Kids had the intelligence to get into all sorts of things, they could pass Algebra, economics and science courses. A 14 year old can think very rationally. In pioneering days, 14/15 year old girls married and had children.

These are not "innocent, scared" children that "didn´t know what they were doing". She had sex, she made the decision and likely enjoyed it. Doubt it was a one shot deal. She hid it from her parents and faked her pregnancy tests. She was able to deliver the baby, keep quiet, murder it, and hide it. She was actively thinking, being quite creative, and was fully engaged in her thinking capacity.

This is a sociopath folks. She is only sad because she was caught. I grew up around sociopaths, maybe #23 you never did.

She didn´t "make a terrible decision" #23. A terrible decision is drinking too much and killing someone in your car. This was a planned, premeditated murder by a sociopath. I would not miss a wink of sleep if she fried in the electric chair.

I don´t get it? What´s the difference in killing it at home or killing it at the hospital via liberal abortion? A few miles or blocks? She´s only 14, for crying out loud! Terrified, in shock, confused, immature, totally ignorant of what was going on in the real world, living in her own imaginary world, and oblivious to the complete list of consequences. Where´s the compassion for this child? We seem to want to condemn on child for the murder of another, and yet, pay doctors huge amounts to do exactly the same thing with wire snares, scissors, and salt water injections into viable infant´s brains! The more I learn about our society the more disgusted I get.

Just a few hours difference than a late term abortion. Is it against the law to give yourself an abortion?

WASHINGTON — In the days leading up to President Obama’s trip to Europe, the director of the Secret Service, Julia A. Although it had been nearly two years since several agents were caught soliciting prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia, shortly before Mr. Obama arrived there for a summit meeting, Ms. Pierson said the agency remained under scrutiny. Agents should be reminded, she said, to be on their best behavior during the coming trip to Europe, where Mr. Obama

Even with more than two years left in his term, President Obama’s ability to fill many of his administration’s most important jobs is rapidly diminishing. Some of our most famous athletes, like LeBron James, and artists, like the singer Janelle Monae, came from struggling families like mine, as do many business leaders -- like Howard Schultz. He’s the head of a company called Starbucks, which many of you may have heard of. When Mr. Schultz was a boy his father lost his job, leaving their family destitute. But Mr. Schultz worked hard. He got a scholarship to a

WASHINGTON — Spring break was never this dull. First Lady Michelle Obama’s kids finally hit the wall on their whirlwind visit to China, showing signs they’ve nearly reached their limit tagging along with mom as she visits site after site on what’s billed as a “person-to-person” tour. Accompanied by Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, the first lady on Monday toured Xi’an, an ancient city in the ancestral province of Chinese President Xi Jinping. They inspected the city’s 600-year-old wall, a day after touring the Great Wall near Beijing. Photos show Sasha looking like she’d rather be back home with her pals than hitting the

The Obama administration is prepared to give prospective Obamacare enrollees another half-month to signup for insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act website, healthcare.gov, treating the law´s March 31 regulatory deadline as a formality for Americans who claim they tried in earnest to sign up in time. During a March 12 congressional hearing, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told Texas Republican Rep. Kevin Brady that there would be no such extensions. ´Are you going to delay the open enrollment beyond March 31?´ Brady asked. ´No, sir,´ she replied. On the same day, Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the

As the U.S. Supreme Court weighed the constitutionality of a contraception coverage mandate Tuesday morning, a federal appeals court heard a separate legal challenge that could have much more sweeping implications for the future of President Obama´s health care law. And if the oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit are any indication, it’s time for the White House to start sweating over a lawsuit that up until now has flown relatively below the radar. At issue in the case are the subsidies that the federal government provides for individuals purchasing insurance through Obamacare. Though the text

On Wednesday, Obama administration officials announced a two week extension in the deadline to enroll in the Affordable Care Act or face a penalty defined as a tax. Asked about this “delay” in the implementation of the ACA on Wednesday, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said that there has been no delay. He added that some of the users who experienced problems with the website early on need more time, partially because “people are not educated about how to use the internet.” “There’s no hiccup or delay,” Reid insisted. “We had hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up and

On her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Tuesday, host Andrea Mitchell interrogated attorney Mark Rienzi for representing Hobby Lobby in the Supreme Court case against the ObamaCare contraception mandate: "What right do they have, again, to interfere with medical decisions by women?...I mean, this gets to the whole issue of women´s health and why should women be discriminated against in ways that other medical beneficiaries are not?" [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Rienzi pushed back: "No one´s discriminating against women, Andrea, all they´re saying is that, you´re right, these are personal decisions,
