These people just voted for Obama´s re-election,why would they look at Franken any differently? People are programmed to vote for the (D) after a person´s name,no matter how big a buffoon they are.

I don´t know the demographics of Minn. and it puzzles me why they´re such a liberal state in the midwest.

I guess there could be a huge backlash against Obamacare once it kicks in and people would finally wake up but I´m not counting on it.

He wouldn´t be IN if the then Governor Palenty had done his job, not allowing ACORN and convicted felons to vote.

A party that is headed by people completely out of touch and/or hostile to their grassroots is a heaven sent gift for Liberals. We gave it to them five of the last six national elections. Charlie Brown and Lucie are less repetitive. If that problem is solved all these secondaries will fall like dominoes.

I would think that the people of Minn. had better sense than that. Al is a clown. Common sense has died in this country. The democRATS have found a way to appeal to the dumb side of the voters. As long as we have a gimme society, idiots like frankin will win.

MN allowed about a thousand convicted felons to vote, which is against MN law. Franken won by about one thousand votes. How many of those felons voted for Ron Coleman? (Are you kidding me?)

Where do you think the many busloads of non-English speaking Somalis that voted for Obama in Ohio and Pennsylvania originated? there are about 100,000 of them in Minneapolis.

Minnesota has same-day voter registration, and we just defeated an amendment which would have instituted a Voter ID requirement.
And it was Norm Coleman, favorite of Bush, who was cheated by Franken and the DFL. Pawlenty did nothing to aid and abet. The marxist Soros-hired Secretary of State Mark Ritchie was the arbiter of Franken´s ´election´.

The Democrats stole this seat and if necessary will steal it again. However, this is highly unlikely or necessary now that the looters, moochers and socialists seem to nationally have the upper hand. Traditional America may have actually ceased to exist on November 6, 2012.

If no election in this country is honest, then we are truly "over" as a Republic. Just remember to keep pinning the blame on the Demonrat party for the demise. It is high time they shoulder the blame for the destruction. Small comfort when the country has been destroyed.

The "bright" side is, after four more years of Obama, it´s not going to matter much.

Franken stole his last election with votes that were found in trunks of the democrats cars and in democrats closet. It was close, but they found enough votes to get this clown elected. Until we have some real way to control fraud, the democrats will keep stealing the elections, and so far the Republicans keep letting them do it. Boehner has to go; he is worthless.

We have no voter ID and same day registration in Minnesota.
We also have an ACORN/Soros approved Secretary of State and Governor. And we just had democrat enhanced redistricting. Not to mention,northern Minnesota embraces communism.

The democrats targeted Michele Bachmann(R), but she managed to hold on and win with no thanks to the RNC, which gave no money to her campaign. I lived in Minnesota for a few years, and they are very receptive to the socialist viewpoint. I got the impression that most of them are very happy to have the government tell them what´s best for them, and pay up the wazoo for the privilege.

As it will an off-presidential election the Dem GOTV machine won´t be as active. There is a sizable difference in the demographics who show up for off-vs. on-presidential election years. The GOP typically pulls a sizable majority popular vote. Minorities are not going to stand in lines to vote for some white boy unless pushed really hard.

Try to run someone with a brain and stay away from the abortion issue.

Don´t forget the third party in Minnesota plus a Republican party that has been badly split for the last 20 some years. The Independence party and the RINOs both claim to be fiscally conservative. When given the option of a spendthrift dissolute Democrat and a fiscally conservative candidate who is also socially conservative they will always opt for the Democrat.
