Who fed Rice the Benghazi lie?
Tribune-Review [Pittsburgh, PA], by Pat Buchanan

| At his news conference Wednesday, President Barack Obama postured as the young Galahad striding out onto the schoolyard to stop a pair of bullies from beating up a girl. (Snip) Consider again what Obama said. Susan Rice "had nothing to do with Benghazi." But if she "had nothing to do with Benghazi," why was she sent out to explain Benghazi? Why did the White House not send Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, CIA Director David Petraeus, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta or National Security Adviser Tom Donilon?
|
Comments: Tom Donilon gets my vote for the person - or one of the persons - responsible for the CIA talking points scrubbing. His job in the last few months has been to keep Obama´s campaign eruption-free, especially in the national security area. It´s all about image. The fixer.

Near the end of this piece, Buchanan opines that the reason for the CIA talking points alteration could have been one of two:
One, the "spontaneous protest" story would enable Obama to keep pushing his campaign line that he had gotten Osama bin Laden and that al-Qaida was "on the path to defeat." A successful al-Qaida-type attack in Libya would have contradicted his best foreign policy claim.
Second, a spontaneous attack would absolve the administration of responsibility for failing to see it coming, failing to provide greater security, failing to have forces prepared to deal with it.
Image time, indeed. Right up Donilon´s alley.

Nobody fed Susan Rice the line, it was understood at all levels that the story they used was going to be the official position for as long as the compliant MSM was willing to run it.
It was all agreed before the Current Occupant departed from Washington to go to Vegas for a campaign swing, and for a few days, the story held.
Susan Rice knew the whole time, and insisted on repeating the official line. She wasn´t agonna rat anybody out, nosiree Bob.

Obama´s lies about Benghazi, Susan Rice etc. are big enough to drive a Mack truck through them. Come´on Republicans in the House and Senate - you know it, we know it, so let´s get Articles of Impeachment rolling now. Rattle the spoil brat´s cage.
Even if the Senate wouldn´t convict him, his term will be soiled if the House votes to Impeach him. The hearings should be long and drawn out - lasting until or even after the Inauguration. Just think of how he will go down in history books - "Impeached President is sworn in again and vows to keep on lying in his second term."

So President Chivalrous threw Rice under the bus on her way to Meet the Press, etc.
Meanwhile this topic, along with the Bimbo Chronicles, dominates the LSM, ignoring the glaring question: what was going on in the CIA Annex?

Who feeds Carney his lies every day? Who feeds Holder his lies every day? Who feeds Clinton her lies every day?
All these people lie with impunity because they know the press is more than willing to look the other way. All these people are puppets of the Soros/Jarrett misinformation machine. Look no further for the source.
Put Rice under oath and ask her the question. Get an answer, unlike the Craig Livingstone/FBI files debacle 20 years ago.

Enough already. The 2 baby war sluts sent to bring Petraeus down dined once or twice in the WH, so the Petraeus set up is months in the planning. The control of the election must have been planned for years. This administration has been planned frame by frame like a Hitchcock movie. Benghazi is going to be a 4 month ordeal. And when it looks like its going bad for the dems, Hillary and Huma are going to be muslimists taking the fall. And then a little misdirection with Bill´s latest women problems, maybe with an emir´s wife, or a parade of gay republicans. And then, maybe in November we get a leak the press is permitted to follow about Obama´s proclivities. And some of the sealed documents. And then he comes out as a muslim, or as he will endlessly explain, a Chris-lum. And then the impeachment in early 2014, followed by Lindsey and McCain voting "No" for removal. Then something like a "Legitimatly sourced" letter, which will be published in "Der Spiegel" warning that unless the US pulls its armies out of every country, an EMP will be launched and exploded by a secret power. All this planned frame by frame -- to cover for Iran and other brand X muslim entities having time to push Israel into WWIII. And for the unions to break small and large companies so they can be nationalized by the government. And just in case the American 47% wakes up, there are all those billions of rounds of hollow point bullets for possible emergencies -- which will have been 3-4 years in the imagined planning. Not to mention the pre-2008 election planning for that Nobel Peace Prize thing.

Rice´s script probably came from Axelrod, who was for all intents and purposes Obama´s principal spokesman during the campaign. Today´s denial of any edits by the NSC´s Ben Rhodes was carefully worded to deny edits made by the White House or State -- a Clintonian parsing that doesn´t cover Axelrod. The best part of this is that as head of the campaign, Axelrod was a private citizen -- Obama and Holder can´t assert any privileges if Axelrod is subpoenaed by a Congressional committee for testimony under oath.

Probably nobody will take the hit: the Press will focus on the sex angle and ignore the four dead Americans and the President who was in a meeting in the Oval Office by 5:15 that 9/11 evening, obviously on Benghazi, and then flew to a fundraiser in Vegas the next day. Just as they will continue to show pictures of him hugging victims of Sandy without mentioning that virtually nothing is being done by a disgraceful FEMA and that Obama flies off after an hour on AF1.

The lies came out of Obama’s White House. Either he knew it and is guilty, or he didn’t and is incompetent. In either case, it fits “high crimes and misdemeanors.” A president lying to the people to hide an act of war upon foreign American soil by heavily armed militias is not a trivial matter.

Look, this isn´t that difficult. Obama himself essentially confirmed unwittingly that someone(s) in the White House prepped her. She´s the UN ambassador, for Pete´s sake. What the heck would she know about a State Department / CIA operation? And Obama pointed that out himself. He also pointed out that the White House asked her to do it. Why? Anyone at or above room temperature could figure out that they picked her precisely because she is female, black, and clueless. Ergo, they calculated, unassailable and able to claim plausible deniability if challenged later. Exactly what they´re doing right now.
So is it even necessary to establish the precise document trace leading to the specific individual who did the markup of the talking point memo and coached her? No it isn´t. The entire coven of co-conspirators and apparatchiks in the White House discussed, strategized, selected, and prepped her for her mission plausible.
And to whom do they all report? Barack Hussein Obama. Perpetrator found.

The issue will not go away if we do not allow it to go away. If we are going to ruin Obie politically, now is the time. But, the House committees that will be investigating the matter need to be all over it- on camera, in newspapers, and on the radio, communicating the status of the investigation. This will be the best way to isolate the msm and possiblly force them to report, especially when it comes time for the House to vote on articles of impeachment.

This administration is corrupt from top to bottom. They are ALL in on the Benghazi cover-up. And, yes, they ALL are incompetent and way over their heads for the government positions they hold. This is the down side of affirmative action and elitist liberal educations, combined with no private sector job experience. Obama deserves the stain of impeachment, even it is only by the House.

Like most of you here, I am doubtful that justice will ever be served for the four dead Americans. As in the election, we are fighting on two fronts; one against Obama and his minions and the other against the media. I would love to see some accountability from this administration, but when you are godlike, not too many have the courage and honor to go up against you. I hope and pray that there are some good men and women in government/media who will not let this go down the rabbit hole.

Exactly #11. Their misdeeds are an open book, yet the bam administration holds onto their lies like a baby to a pacifier. They don´t care how irrelevant their counter arguments are, etc. As long as they have anything to say in response, they think that is good enough. Well maybe so in their affirmative action world but not in reality.
Good #8. This administration plays Simon-Says with the truth or some variation of that, "Who´s on First?" skit, another luc poster mentioned before.

#1, FTA: "Second, a spontaneous attack would absolve the administration of responsibility for failing to see it coming, failing to provide greater security, failing to have forces prepared to deal with it."
They did not fail to see it coming. They knew the 9/11 events were happening all over the Arab Spring countries and in Benghazi in particular. They only looked at it from the left´s perspective of how to use it to their advantage - while directing attention / to blame America for being too offensive. It was sufficient to leave events on the ground to unfold as long as they had plausible deniability in relying on Libyan forces. They didn´t do all they could because they were thinking of a different approach: the appeasement approach and how to use the crisis they thought would come. Rice knew this much when she was appointed the special point person to carry the water.

Nobody. Listen very carefully to the words. Obama said that Rice "gave her best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided to her." He didn´t say that she went out and parrotted what she had been given. He said Rice gave HER understanding of the intelligence.
From the description of Rice in Milbaank´s column in the Must Reads today, it appears Rice is an aggressive loose cannon who doesn´t play well with the other children in Washington. However, as a black woman, with the double helping of priviledge and special treatment that come with being both black AND female in 21st Century America, her immunity may be too strong for even Obama to do anything about.
So- perhaps the edits were made by Rice herself, and Obama just sent her out with a target on her back for McCain and Graham to do the political wet work and take the heat for it, leaving Obama´s hands clean, keeping him out of trouble with those promoting Rice for Sec State, and clearing the way for Kerry.
Oh, and since when did conservative Tea Party Republicans cheer like soccer fans for ... McCain??? Graham??? Give me a break. Something wrong with THAT picture as well. I suspect the whole thing is a carefully laid out charade to eliminate Rice from the Sec State nomination process, complete with feigned outrage, race accusations, anger, and drama. But first a word from our sponsors.

*8/6 Obama scoffs at fnundraiser that Romney “thinks” Petraeus will be his VP
*Benghazi 9/11 rape and murder of US ambassador Stevens and ex Seals murder happens...who asked the Seals to use their lazer to light up their position? As that pinpointed to the terrorists where to slaughter the Seals when no Drone intended help...so who led the Seals to believe there was armed help above? Otherwise they would not have revealed their own position

**** Other Considerations:
*Brennan prolly came up with Rice´s lie...as Clapper runs nothing....he is simply the disposable one for troubled times as the thrust to take own Israel has been in play for Obama since day 1...
*.Obama´s AlQaeda rebels take out and kill and rape Russian allie Kaddaffi (turning LIBYA over to Muslim Brotherhood)
*.Obama running guns and missiles including illegal Stinger missiles per NATO treaty... Illegally into Russia´s alley Syria ....in an attempt to take down Assad and bring Syria under Muslim Brotherhood control
* Russia behind Benghazi attack of Ambassador Stevens, using their rebel force... as payback for Kaddaffi...a rape and murder for a rape and murder
*Russia does victory lap...in arrogant move and show of power....their nuclear submarine off East Coast of the United States on Election Day 2012
Does this add up to Sedition, Treason or Ignorance??? Middle East now controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood...and missile strikes begin after Obama re-election...on Israel....As the FBI likes to say "There are no coincidences"

We´ve all read so many stories and seen so many informational conflicts that I´m sure I´ve missed a lot of it. But, has the administration, or any representative of it, explained why Ambassador Stevens was in Benghazi? And have we heard why none of the 30 (or so) people who were evacuated from Benghazi have been available to the media?

There is the Obama "official" line and then there is reality. The Obama crew has been airbrushing radical Islamic terrorists out of just about every terrorist incident that has happened since he got elected. As an example remember the incident at Fort Hood, where an obvious Islamic terrorist who infiltrated the US military murdered a number of US soldiers that the Obama crew labeled as an instance of "workplace violence"?

A few Items I have not seen answered and a couple that I have not seen ever questioned!
1. Apparently at least two CIA agents managed to get to the Benghazi CIA Annex (those that rescued 20 plus people from the Consulate. How did they get there so fast when no others (Special Forces or Military) could?
2. We were told that there was no way those Special Forces or Military could get there within the 7 hour period of the attack so they were not sent. How did those making that decision know that the attack would only last 7 hours. What if the attack lasted 10 or 12 hours, and those that died also lasted that long. It seems no one in charge ever tried to send anyone to the rescue. They just left them there!
3. What is the FBI doing on foreign land. I thought the FBI was an internal US law enforcement service. Why was the AG even involved in a State Department responsibility.
4. Has anyone identified or talked to those that were recused? What information have they contributed to the issue?
5. Why did it take over two weeks for any US people get to the Consulate after the attack? (and they were only there 1 hour). How could CNN get there ahead of the FBI (or anyone else) and find the Ambassadors personal diary?

Today I learned for the first time that the RNC accepted a "consent decree" back in 1981 that essentially allows the rats to get away with uncontested fraud every election. This decree is renewed as needed by rat judges.
http://fellowshipofminds.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/why-the-gop-will-not-do-anything-about-vote-fraud/
So my point is that it doesn´t matter what Obama does. It´s all fixed. I have to wonder how Reagan got elected a 2nd time, and both Bushes. Maybe the rats hadn´t perfected the stealing yet.
Personally - especially since Obama likes to crow about having government officials who "look like us" - I have to wonder who he means by "us"? Seems to me the blacks who vote color every time (unlike Allen West) are disproportionally represented and these people aren´t the least bit shy about feathering their own nests in the spirit of revenge that zero called for.
We need unity, toughness and overwhelming numbers to counteract this and bring back some decency to our government. Until then how can it matter what this administration says and does? The rat base does not care.

Now let´s see. You pick the one person in your administration that is totally clueless about what happened in Benghazi -- Susan Rice -- and send her out as the spokesperson on Benghazi for the administration. She mindlessly parrots a "briefing" that is pure fiction on five Sunday talk shows.
If she knew the real story, she was totally dishonest. If she didn´t know, she must be really, really stupid! Either way, she should not be Secretary of State.

It isn´t incompetence, it´s policy. Obama is a communist plant to destroy us. The attack was to silence the bag man, Stephens, who was buying weapons from Gadhafi´s stash. They were stolen by AQ for the Syrian campaign, and to take out Israel helicopters. The stink of Obama hasn´t settled because the media keeps blowing the fumes away. Petraeus was blackmailed and bribed, the election was stolen, and the elitist media are looking "forward" to the establishment of the new world order to replace American power with Soros/UN style fascism. After sabotaging the United States, obama will rule through the NWO, unless some patriots stop him.

The day of mounting troubles for the school began with Athletic Director Tim Pernetti resigning over his failure to immediately fire coach Mike Rice, who was caught on video hitting, kicking and taunting players with anti-gay slurs at practice.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has permanently revoked the federal firearms license of East Windsor, Conn., gun store owner David LaGuercia, whose shop reportedly sold guns used in the Newtown school massacre and a second Connecticut mass shooting. ATF spokeswoman Deb Seifert told The Journal News on Thursday that she could not be more specific on the reasons LaGuercia’s license was revoked. It was revoked Dec. 20 and the 60-day time frame to appeal has expired.(Snip) In December, LaGuercia said in a statement that he was “absolutely appalled”

The anonymous black-and-white fliers that had been pinned to billboards April 1 at Riverside City College to call attention to the student body president as a registered sex offender were nowhere to be seen Thursday.(Snip)But the mood was anything but light inside the Associated Students of Riverside City College building where Doug Robert Figueroa, 40, of Riverside, has served as RCC student body president since May 2012. Students huddled there defended the integrity of their leader. “He’s been a great leader,” student Kendall McCardle said, commenting on his advocacy skills, leadership roles with all three branches

When Keeairra Dashiell graduated with honors from Crenshaw High School seven years ago, she seemed headed for success. Offered admission into several top colleges, she accepted a scholarship to UC San Diego, leaving behind the often rough, inner-city world of South Los Angeles. But on Thursday, Dashiell´s talent and promise were a distant, squandered memory as the 24-year-old sat handcuffed in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom. After years of lying, she fully confessed to her role in a 2007 murder and, in a deal with prosecutors, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and attempted robbery.(Snip)Judge Michael Pastor sentenced

These are trying times. Never in the history of this country have we been so weakened and polarized by what many view as deliberate government policy. Now anti-gunners in the U.S. Congress, the Obama administration, and legislatures across the country are seeking to exploit the Newtown tragedy to promote their “gun control” agenda that envisions federal, universal background checks on gun purchases, and that could lead to gun registration and confiscation. At the same time, the increasing militarization of law enforcement, most visibly demonstrated by the growing use of massive, SWAT-type raids on businesses and individuals, sometimes with federal

“Do you have a solve for this problem?” “Let’s all focus on the build.” “That’s the take-away from today’s seminar.” Or, to quote a song that was recently a No. 1 hit in Britain, “Would you let me see beneath your beautiful?” If you find these sentences annoying, you are not alone. Each contains an example of nominalization: a word we are used to encountering as a verb or adjective that has been transmuted into a noun. (Snip) Writing packed with nominalizations is commonly regarded as slovenly, obfuscatory, pretentious or merely ugly.

Oops, we forgot all about Women´s History Month. To make amends to the fairer sex, today we introduce our readers to a feminist pioneer. This is Susan Patton. In 1973 she was admitted to Princeton University as part of only the fifth coeducational class in the school´s history. (Snip) On Friday this feminist pioneer found herself transformed into a feminist hate object after the Daily Princetonian student newspaper published her letter to the editor. The paper´s website has been overwhelmed by traffic, so with Patton´s permission we´re reprinting the letter in full:

MONTECITO — Her final pep talk wasn´t a pep talk at all. Kirsten Moore was beyond pep. Her final pep talk, given while surrounded by her Westmont College women´s basketball team before the NAIA national championship game, was her chance to say thanks. Moore thanked her team for keeping her soul alive. She thanked them for sitting in the third row for her husband´s funeral, for playing with her infant daughter in the third row of the team bus, for sharing her pain and embellishing her joy. She thanked them for their patience when she was weeping at an unseen

It is still, on occasion, good to be the king. It is not necessarily good to be the king of a Middle Eastern country that is bereft of oil; nor is it necessarily so wonderful to be the king during the turmoil and uncertainty of the Arab Spring. (Snip) the king had explained to me the reason for the trip to Karak: he was trying, in advance of parliamentary elections in January, to instruct these tribal leaders on the importance of representative democracy. Some years ago, on a warm afternoon in South-Central Los Angeles, I responded to the scene of a drive-by shooting in which a man had been killed. RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explained to the Women in the World summit in New York today that the clock is turning back for women in America. Clinton praised her own mother for helping empower her to success and marveled at the opportunities that her own daughter Chelsea has pursued. But Clinton warned that there is still so much to do to promote women´s rights in America. "As I look at all these young women that I am privileged to work with, or know through Chelsea, and its hard to imagine turning the clock on them," Clinton said.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester: It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look

Their attorney, Benjamin Crump, filed that paperwork at the Seminole County Courthouse, a portion of which was made public today. In the five pages of the settlement that were available for public review, the settlement amount had been marked out. Lower in the agreement, the parties specified that they would keep that amount confidential. When asked during an earlier interview whether the amount was

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,
