| The White House pushed back Saturday on suggestions that it scrubbed terrorist involvement from original CIA talking points on the fatal Libya attacks. The remark by White House Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes followed former CIA Director David Petraeus telling House and Senate intelligence committees Friday that the agency’s original talking points suggested the Sept. 11 attack involved Al Qaeda affiliates and sympathizers -- including Al Qaeda’s North Africa affiliate and a Libyan group Ansar al-Shariah. "The only edit that was made by the White House and also by the State Department was to change the word ´consulate´

Well somebody did.
There needs to be a select committee to investigate this. Four Americans have been murdered, one a diplomat and nobody seems to know anything.

It´s very frustrating when the people who know who edited the talking points will lie with impunity. They believe the ends justify the means, therefore, they say whatever needs to be said in order to achieve the desired results. I feel like giving up. How can you have a meaningful inquiry into what actually happened with people who lie and cheat?

Based on what B.O. said the other day:
For them to go after the UN ambassador who had nothing to do with Benghazi, and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and to besmirch her reputation is outrageous," Obama said.
Since she had nothing to do with Benghazi, was appearing at the behest of the WH and was making a presentation on intelligence she received (from the WH) ... what and I to think?

"That’s what our job is.... I can tell you that immediately upon finding out that our folks were in danger, that my orders to my National Security team were do whatever we need to do to make sure they’re safe." (President 0bama - 11/14/12).
This is what 0bama said at his ´´news conference.´´ It makes it clear to me that some, if not all the men were known to be alive [since the audio/video links were activated by various agencies]. One can only draw the conclusion that 0bama knew as events were taking place on 9/11.
It was a known terrorist attack from the moment it started till it sadly ended with our government, from the top on down, allowing for the murder of their "assets" in Benghazi. You´ll never scrub the blood off your hands.

I think Tom Donilon had a hand in its alteration to protect the Obama campaign. It as been his responsibility to keep any eruptions tamped down and under control.
See this New York Timea article from September 23, 2012, on that very subject:
A Manager of Overseas Crises, as Much as the World Permits By PETER BAKER
An excerpt:
Mr. Donilon is the one who wakes the president when an ambassador is killed in Libya, the one who tries to keep Israel from rupturing relations and Egypt from heading off track. Solutions to intractable problems like Iran’s nuclear program are for another day. For now, it is Mr. Donilon’s mission to manage problems and keep them from blowing up, so Mr. Obama can focus on Mitt Romney rather than Benjamin Netanyahu

And to put the icing on the cake, his wife is Jill Biden´s chief of staff.

The WH first claims its because of video, is caught lying and changes its story, then that they didn´t know anything about the CIA talking points, is caught lying when the CIA says they were forwarded to them, then that they did not edit anything, and is caught lying and says they only changed a word. Really? I do think WH credibility has suffered a little here, and I think they are lying.

The incompetence and corruption of the entire Obama administration is appalling, almost bordering on criminal, if it is not already considering Benghazi. America can not endure four more years of this. All these people are out of their league, over their heads and not anywhere near performing close to their current pay grades. Somethings got to give.

Uh oh. This sounds ominous. Just in case there is anyone left whose attention isn´t focused on Susan Rice after Obama shined all the spotlights on her in his news conference, in answer to the question "who doctored the talking points," the White House just had everyone take one step backward. Everyone, that is, except Rice. She´s now standing front and center all alone. I hope she has hired counsel.

Why is everyone getting upset over the "talking points?" They really don´t matter. Days after the killings, when they were certain that it was a terrorist attack, the President was still talking about the video! All this Susan Rice stuff is diverting attention from the fact that the President himself lied to us.

There has been much speculation that Susan Rice´s script came from Axelrod, who throughout the campaign was Obama´s primary spokesman on any and all sensitive issues, including Benghazi. The House Committees should quickly subpoena Axelrod and get him under oath -- as head of the campaign organization, Axelrod was and is a private citizen and thus outside of any executive or other governmental privileges Obama/Holder may try to assert to shield Axelrod.

The Wall Street Journal has a big frontpage story today on the disability epidemic. It’s a good addendum to my column from last week. The unexpectedly large number of American workers who piled into the Social Security Administration’s disability program during the recession and its aftermath threatens to cost the economy tens of billions a year in lost wages and diminished tax revenues. Signs of the problem surfaced Friday, in a dismal jobs report that showed U.S. labor force participation rates falling last month to the lowest levels since 1979,

The articles, about technology topics in a wide variety of products, including modems and the Hubble Space Telescope, were paid for by Snapdragon, a brand of processor chip made by Qualcomm, and the sponsor of the series. Most were even written by Mashable editorial employees.

By any observable metric, zombies are totally hot right now. Look at movies like "Warm Bodies" and the coming "World War Z," the ratings for AMC´s hit series "The Walking Dead" (12.9 million viewers for its recent season finale) and $2.5 billion in annual sales for zombie videogames. Over the past decade, between a third and a half of all zombie movies ever made have been released. A glance at Google GOOG -1.51%Trends reveals that in the past few years, interest in flesh-eating ghouls has far outstripped popular enthusiasm for vampires, wizards and hobbits.

J. David Kuo, an evangelical Christian conservative and former top official of President George W. Bush’s faith-based initiative who drew wide attention when he publicly accused the administration of failing to live up to the values it espoused, died April 5 in Charlotte. He was 44.He was diagnosed a decade ago with brain cancer, his wife, Kimberly, said. The arc of Mr. Kuo’s life and career had taken him from liberal to conservative, from hard-edged Republican activism in the 1990s to disillusionment with the idea that politics could serve as an extension of his faith. This country is an embarrassment. We can’t do anything right, least of all corruption. Look, when Venezuela’s populist demagogue Hugo Chavez died, word was he’d somehow accumulated an estate worth $2 billion. In the old days when the PRI party ruled Mexico uninterruptedly, every president got a single six-year term — and promptly retired at its close as a billionaire. And that was when a billion was real money.

Like most of you, I yearn for shorter winters, more shirt-sleeve weather, less lashing from frigid winds. As a confirmed New Yorker, I’m not willing to do what millions have done: move to the sunbelt. I want warmer weather here in the Big City. But I’ve grown old waiting for the promised global warming. I was 35 when predictions of a looming ice age were supplanted by warmmongering. Now I’m 68, and there’s still no sign of warmer weather. It’s enough to make one doubt the “settled science” of the government-funded doom-sayers.

In a measure of solidarity with those affected by the budget-slashing government sequestration, President Obama is giving up 5 percent of his salary for rest of the year, which is almost as admirable and sensible as a mansion-owner shutting off his marble fountains during a drought. This is not to imply that the president shouldn´t demonstrate some unity with those who´ve been furloughed or lost work because of the blind slashing the sequestration prompted. WASHINGTON — A photo of the Obamas hugging that was released on Election Day 2012 has become the world´s most popular tweet on Twitter. A dressed-up version of Barack Obama´s State of the Union speech, packed with charts and graphs, is huge on YouTube. A playful picture of the president cavorting with a 3-year-old in a Spiderman costume is a favorite online. It´s all courtesy of the Obama image machine, serving up a stream of words, images and videos that invariably cast the president as commanding, compassionate and on the ball. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —
