GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Israel bombarded the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip with nearly 200 airstrikes early Saturday, the military said, widening a blistering assault on Gaza rocket operations to include the prime minister’s headquarters, a police compound and a vast network of smuggling tunnels. The new attacks followed an unprecedented rocket strike aimed at the contested holy city of Jerusalem that raised the stakes in Israel’s violent confrontation with Palestinian militants and extended the battlefield.

This would not be happening if Romney had been elected. Be assured that Israel will not be worried about collateral damage and making their soldiers fight with one arm tied behind their backs.

Aren´t the rockets Hamas is using the same ones that Obie brokered to the Syrians and Palestinians after Gadhafi was taken out and the Libyan regime had crumbled?? Google Fast & Furious Middle East and read all about it. Excellent background on what Obie did to Chris Stevens. Good going, Obie.

Israel is being called a brutal aggressor by all of the Media. To the ordinary rational mind it would seem that if your next door neighbor was constantly trying to burn down your house. You would certainly try to stop them. I keep waiting for Rod Sterling to come out and start narrating this stuff. We are truly living in the Twilight Zone.

The Palestinians are attacking Israel from land that Israel recently gave them in a futile attempt to make peace. The IDF should just level the place and take the land back. Nice seashore views going to waste on people who are born to hate everything.

If the arab world is going to scream, give them something to scream about.

To show you what Israel and its American supporters are up against, I listened to a ABC network news break on the Limbaugh radio show yesterday and NOWHERE was it mentioned that Israel finally targeted the Hamas leader in his car after a rain of rocket fire into Israel for full weeks prior. NOWHERE was it mentioned that the Hamas rockets always and only fired on civilian targets OR that the Palestinians house their rockets et al. in schools and hospitals, promoting civilian casualties so organizations like ABC news can castigate. I actually saw a BBC America report that was more accurate and fair than ABC! And then the networks wonder why they have lost listeners?

I agree with #13 completely. The USA brokered that deal to let the Pals occupy Gaza. All that achieved was to give the terrorists a better launching pad for its missiles to attack Israel. You can´t kiss up to a rattlesnake and expect kisses back. Drive the Pals back into Jordan, where there is plenty of empty desert and fellow Arabs to appreciate them. They should have settled there in the first place.

Remember this?

Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit said on the “Round Table Show” that he had had a one on one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda. He asked that the Moslem world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American problems (Healthcare), that he would show the Moslem world what he would do with Israel.

From Israel Today:

That could explain why Obama has instructed that the term “Islamic extremism” no longer be used in official government documents and statements. Furthermore, the US is now accusing Israel of harming American interests in the Middle East. General David Petraeus, the head of US Central Command, said Israel’s intransigence on resolving the conflict with the Palestinians is endangering US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even the US Congress considers Obama’s behavior toward Netanyahu humiliating. Three-quarters of the House of Representatives, 337 of 435 members, signed a bipartisan letter to Clinton expressing “deep concern over recent tension” between the two countries, and demanding that it be smoothed over quickly and in private.

“Obama is a real problem for Israel,” a senior official told Yediot. “He is Israel’s biggest strategic catastrophe.” The newspaper also quoted another official who believes that for the first time Washington has switched sides. “The Obama White House is putting pressure only on Israel but does not expect anything from the Palestinians,” he said. “These American demands are unacceptable.”

REality is, the junk pile made "hassam" rocket cost about $21.00 US to make and launch. The anti-missile Israeli, "Iron Dome" protection missile costs upwards of a half million a copy. Do the math. The Palestinians will win. When Israel runs out of protection "Iron Dome" they will have to resort to the old fashioned way of sending in heavily armed troops to dig the bstds out one by one. The Hamas know this and will offer up scores of children to sacrifice in front of World Wide Web cameras, the international idiots community will fall for it hook, line and sinker and intervene, sanctioning Israel and doing nothing to the "poor, downtrodden refugees whose land this is anyway!". Israel must strike hard, fast and furiously and get out quickly- a punishment mission only.

#10 – God confirmed, with an oath, 55 times that the land of Canaan was a gift to the Jews—the offspring of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; there are at least 170 such references in Scripture. “Twelve of those times He stated that the covenant was everlasting.” In Leviticus 25:23, God made clear: “The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is Mine and you are but aliens and My tenants.”

The next target they take out must be Abbas´s multimillion dollar mansion overlooking the Mediterranean. It was paid for with the funds sent to Gaza to help those in the camps where they never saw any improvements.
You might check on those Swiss bank accounts where Arafat stashed most of what he got, too.

Weapons such as Hamas is using are what Stevens and the SEAL´s were in Benghazi to corral. Obama has funneled them to what turned out to be militant Islamists. The Russians, conserned that they would go to Syrian rebels, pressured Obama to get control over them.

Further, Hamas, once Obama was re-elected, realized that Israel was alone and vulnerable.

This is what happens when Democrats are in the WH.

The Clinton Library took the wraps off another batch of White House documents Friday afternoon, offering new insights into how aides scrambled to address the Monica Lewinsky scandal, how the hot-button issue of race tied the White House staff up in knots and how former President Bill Clinton cast a wide net for advice in advance of his major speeches. The new set of Clinton documents make little mention of then-first lady Hillary Clinton, and so are unlikely to have a major political impact. Do you think members of Congress are overpaid or underpaid? Most likely you’d go with the former, but Democratic congressman Jim Moran argues it’s actually the latter. In an interview with CQ Roll Call, Moran says, “I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid.” The House recently took up a bill to freeze members’ paychecks, placing another halt on the annual cost-of-living pay increases they would normally get and keeping annual salary at $174,000. Moran believes that this is the wrong way to go, not necessarily talking about himself in particular, but saying there

The human kindling that makes up the flammable Republican base may soon burst into flames, again. Portions of that excitable cohort are looking — some with fawn-like eyes filled with hurt, others with sparks shooting from eyes narrowed like gun slits — askance at other Republicans urging Jeb Bush to seek the 2016 presidential nomination. A candidacy by Florida’s former governor would be desirable. But if Republicans want to avoid intra-party carnage, they should be very careful about doing what The Post recently reported: “Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft

Sarah Palin continues to act in ways that confirm some of the more negative things said about her. For example, she’s taken to Facebook to attack the most recent budget plan by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.(Snip)Whatever differences Ms. Palin may have with the Ryan plan–and perhaps she’ll take the time to offer an actual critique of if rather than a Facebook entry with lots of upper case words–it’s hardly a joke. But what might elicit a roll of the eyes is comparing Ms. Palin’s views now versus what they were nearly four years ago. Consider this: On December

At a press conference to push legislation to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) criticized industrialists David and Charles Koch, calling them “shadow billionaires” who use their wealth to “rig our political system.” Reid’s sharp comments come on a day when the Wall Street Journal published a commentary written by Charles Koch, in which he described the brothers’ decision to get involved in politics to preserve the individual freedom and free markets that he said are the pillars of the American republic. “These two men are a pair of shadow billionaires spending

Senate majority leader Harry Reid has a whole page on his official Senate.gov website devoted to revealing "THE FACTS ABOUT THE KOCH BROTHERS." One of the alleged facts promoted on Reid´s website is that the Kochs do not pay any corporate taxes: “They are known for bankrolling conservative, Libertarian and Tea Party causes and became poster boys for corporate tax reform last year when an Obama Administration official suggested Koch is organized as an S Corp. and so pays no corporate level taxes.” The claim that the Koch brothers don´t pay corporate income taxes was first made by former White House official
