In the week before the election, both Bloomberg Business News and CNN had articles on, "Will Romney Inherit the Obama Recovery?" Theme of both stories was that after a slow start, Obama as the economy percolating, and Romney, of elected, will take credit for this.

Last para n this depressing article: Obama got re-elected largely by blaming Bush for everything bad that happened during his first term. So who´s he going to blame now?

Easy answer: Bush.

Remember the day after the election when everybody on this website was saying that we are all done for?

Well, we are.

And don´t forget those "intransigent" House Republicans, #4.

Obama doesn´t need to change a thing. He can still blame the mess that he inherited from the last guy in office.

The only thing I learned from the election is that this country nowhas more dumb people than smart people.

And let´s not forget, gasoline is still a good $2.00 more than when "W" was living in Washington, D.C.

It has been speculated that the way the Obama regime will finish off America is by wiping out small business, as that is the last engine of freedom and without that, America will not arise as a world power again.

Is it finally his economy? I thought all of this was Bush´s fault. Zippy is the most inept person to hold office ever. The dumbing down of America by the teachers union has worked. People are to stupid to know what they are doing to this once great country. I don´t know if we can ever recover from what this moron has done or will do. God Save America.

Where we are in he era of Obama:

For good reason the minority believe that the POTUS is actively out to destroy this country. He is either excellent at accomplishing this or he´s completely incompetent at running the country. Either way the result is the same.

The majority of voters don´t care about this as long as they can feel cool, and/or their benefits don´t run out and when the money does dry up they´ll blame someone other than the real culprits.

Yup, we´ve over the hill. I´m glad out ancestors aren´t here to see this.

We have always known that O. was out to destroy the country. It is still puzzling that the cowardly press is "all in" for the destruction. They do not care how much the people suffer, how high the Misery Index is, all they care about is the image of the rock star faux potus.

Our country has been destroyed by the unholy alliance of the regime and the press.

They´ve moved on from Bush to Romney & Bain... All companies are just like them & need to be destroyed! They just compared Hostess to Bain.

Does any intelligent person really think that those who vote for Obama either understand or care about the nation´s economy? A large number of them buy vehicles with the understanding that they will probably end up being repossessed. You can´t reason with those kind of people.

The Obama voter is the one who typically thinks that a successful person is one who is just lucky or has "had all the breaks." The Obama voter is the one who probably cut class to smoke weed while the nerdy guy studied, and of course, he made the nerdy guy´s life hell. The quiet, hard-working people who have their priorities straight are in the minority now. But the Obama voter would take everything away from them in the interests of "fairness."

Or shall we be shackled to a dependent majority that thinks that all of life´s bumps can and should be removed and thus are the victims of politicians who promise to remove them for a "small price." Is there at least hope the the dependent class will at least see that the bumps were not removed?

The Democrats blamed Herbert Hoover for the depression for 20 years that I know of. It always worked. I remember when my step father was urged to vote Republican. He had great trepidation. He screwed up his courage and bravely announced: "Well, I guess I can starve for four years."

Unfortunately, the un-intelligent 50% of the electorate, who are being hurt the most by this, will not connect the cause to Obama. The dems know this, too, so it will continue unabated.

In answer to the article´s closing question, I easily see obama using those meanie owners at Hostess as the first scapegoats.

Since the inept, inexperienced, incompetent, anti-American, socialistic, muslim-leaning, ex-lawyer dufus won re-election, I have lost $2,900 from my 401k retirement account.

You´ll be losing a lot more than that by the time 4 more years of hell passes us by.
