Rep. King: Petraeus testified Al-Qaeda Element Removed From Rice´s Cia Talking Points

| Republican Congressman Peter King just exited the closed-door hearing with David Petraeus to update the media, and his description of the ex-CIA Chief´s testimony contained more than one bombshell. For starters, King said Petraeus told them that the CIA talking points meant for U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice´s Sept. 16 round robin of five Sunday network news shows, originally contained the information that there was evidence al-Qaeda elements were involved in the attack. These talking points were then altered through "an inter-agency process."

"Inter-agency process"??? Sounds like garbage to me that he and others can hide behind. Someone, somewhere evidently CHANGED the text. No PROCESS did anything. An actual person or persons did.
It´s OBama who is responsible whether he wants to say so or not. It is OBAMA who OWNS the f*cking processes!!!!

Who would stand to benefit from the video myth? Answer: Barack Hussein Obama. His Arab Spring/Osama-is-dead narrative has to be protected. It’s obvious that the WH hatched the myth, and leaned on Petraeus to fudge his original testimony, almost certainly by blackmailing him with exposure of his affair.
Because that is crime, and one that involves an act of war against America, it rises to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors.
The house must impeach.

Mr. Honorable or not, if they don´t ask the questions they can´t get the answers. It appears they weren´t asking the hard questions just providing a forum for the Administration (which Petraeus seems to still be a part of, at least in his heart)to layout their story.

Unfortunately, #13 is correct. We have a kardashian electorate, and once the Fat Bast*rd implicitly endorsed president zero, the election was decided. I have been around since FDR was president, lived through Nixon´s presidency, Ford´s ineptitude, bill clinton´s perversions, and this is the first time in my life that I hold little hope that our republic as a constitutional democracy will stand. I say that in all seriousness. We are doomed. President Zero´s campaign has found the formula for bringing out the minority and lower class vote - the 47%, if you will, and that will be the template for future elections, presidential and congressional.

# 13 - is totally correct.
Eric Erickson on his talk show mentioned it also. Four people dead did not change any DemoRat minds enough to go vote Romney.
The number of Obama votes was down, so we really do not know why they stayed home. Not many changed their votes to Romney.

"an inter-agency process"
Translation: Herself, the Cold and Joyless, had put her not-so-inconsiderable thumb on the scale.
And with that much shift in priorities, Susan Rice had to have known beforehand the actual involvement of al-Qaeda and its parent organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
Yet she repeated the patent fabrication.

# 13 I can´t tell you how many educated , professional people I have encountered that don´t have a clue about Benghazi. Rove and Sheldon Adelson and the other Super PACS should have spent their millions trying to buy one of the tv networks. That might have done more good. So...are we to believe that the Director of the CIA never told the President ???? Or that Obama never asked Petraeus ? -Oh wait, I can buy that. Was Petraeus under oath ? The Democrats and the media continue to focus on the video and ignore the bigger story. That someone in the Oval Office decided that an entire consulate of 34 " folks " should burn to death. Now.. if they were NBA players or rappers in danger , I absolutely believe Barry would have leapt into action and ordered every asset possible immediately deployed to save them. Barry took Jay- Z and Beyonce into the Situation Room , but, he wouldn´t enter it to save the folks in danger at Benghazi . Some Americans are obviously more expendable than others.

I don´t think most people ever bought into the idea that it was the video that started things in Benghazi.Certainly not the regulars at this forum.A question that I wonder about is why was it U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice that was asked to go on the talk shows with the fabricated "talking points"? As far as who was the final authority on what was to be said I agree with those who say Obama because he did not want the Al Qaeda connection made because it would contradict his claim that we had Al Qaeda on the run.

This paves the way for a Special Select Committee in investigate and have PUBLIC hearings. McCain has said as much. There are too many different branches of this administration that have given conflicting testimony and then we have the statements from Rice and the testimony of the others already. Too bad for Obama that we were paying attention when they lied. Now we just have to sort out who it was that told Rice what to say. Shouldnt be too complicated.

It should be no secret to the morons in Congress that it was the Obama crew who changed the talking points, as Obama has been removing all references to Muslims and terrorists from just about everything that happens. Remember what happened at Fort Hood when a Muslim yelling "gos is great" murdered a group of US soldiers, the Obama crew called it an instance of workplace violence!
After the smoke clears, and if he plays the game, Petraeus could well get another job with the Obama crew, he does not want to mess that up, and besides his spouse still holds down a $178,000.00 a year job with the Obama crew in Washington, DC and he does not want any "revenge" to be taken against her.

I am sure that Peter King did not tell everything that was said in that committee hearing. We can start to figure this out ourselves. All we need is a smoking gun to prove that the Preezy is the guilty one. The question remains why he ordered the stand down because it could have only been him. What was happening in Benghazi that he didn´t want to be known. The more events unfold with Israel, it becomes clear that this was planned if Obama won. The fix was on. This is just plain ugly and frightening.

The real issue is who told our troops to stand down. You and I know who, but getting it pinned on Zippy will be impossible.
Next, no one altered anything. It is a made-up lie. Think about it. By blaming an unknown person, it allows Petraeus to provide distance for Zippy in this whole mess and provides cover for Rice, who Zippy has a grand designs for her career.
Also, FTA:
"The original talking points were much more specific about al-Qaeda involvement and yet the finals ones just said´ indications of extremists."
Apparently from the article, the CIA didn´t mention anything about a video. OK, then who instilled the idea of a video causing the riot that was espoused by Rice et al (including Zippy)?

With what authority does the UN ambassador speak on attacks of our consulate in Libya? She should have no superior knowledge of what took place over there so why did she make the rounds on Sunday? Obviously she was serving as the spokesperon for Obama who chose to hide behind the skirt of a black woman for cover. What a cowardly piece of work he is. Winnow through the possible candidates to speak on the Libyan attack and you can easily see why she was chosen.

By Petraeus´s own admission today he knew at the time of his testimony on 9/14 that the video story was at best a deliberate misdirection, and at worst an outright lie. So at the time of his original testimony on 9/14 his integrity had already been compromised. He had already been brought into and was an active part of the coverup conspiracy, so he would not have been surprised by the story Rice was spreading on her 9/16 talk show tour. We aren´t going to get the full truth out of these people short of a full-on CIA interrogation. You get the bucket, I´ll get the towel.

Obama has said publicly that he ordered that all necessary measures (or some such wording) be taken to protect americans in Libya. Obviously it was Valerie Jarrett who overruled him and sent out the orders to stand down. Listening to the Mark Levin show on the way home tonight I heard a story about a young man who knows an illegal who voted Obama. The illegal said "sucks to be you, great to be me". This illegal works, votes himself benefits, and thinks it´s funny.
The bus loads of Somalians - who can´t even read but were helped to vote - all the illegals for whom "providing ID would just be too terrifying", and all the others who vote themselves other people´s money just prove that our ancestors were correct: the republic will last until people figure out they can vote themselves money.
Romney would have been a great POTUS for those of us who believe in paying our way - and we were outvoted ergo the republic will not last.
There will be a revolution and I believe that is what Obama wants. And my personal opinion is he wants to convert the US to Muslim rule. I think Obama believes that Allah has parted the waters for him to enact this. And with what he´s gotten away with so far I can understand why he thinks this.
These are desperate times.

Bernard Anderson, a pathbreaking African-American economist, understands the importance of rhetoric. He was up front at the Lincoln Memorial when Martin Luther King Jr. gave his historic “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963. And he was in the audience on the Howard University campus in 1965 to hear President Johnson deliver a grim view of the state of black America and declare war on “past injustice and present prejudice.” So Anderson had high hopes as he sat at home in Pennsylvania watching President Obama deliver his second Inaugural Address this year.

President Obama’s legacy may be in the uncertain grip of a conservative senator from Pennsylvania, a former president of the tax-cutting Club for Growth who received high marks from the National Rifle Association. On guns and deficit reduction, two cornerstones of the Obama agenda, Sen. Pat Toomey may hold the key to compromise. Budget: House Republicans privately concede they are willing to raise revenue beyond the $600 billion tax hike approved last year, if Democrats agree to trim Social Security and Medicare benefits. The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial. Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. The men had already pleaded no contest in January to one felony count each of risk of injury to a minor — a reduction from even more serious charges related to sexual assault....

Get ready for the last straw. First, though, I´d like to suggest that anyone reading this column in a local newspaper or news site pat the editor on the back for publishing what in our neo-medieval world of fear amounts to a forbidden column. Yup, I am about to say something about the Great Barack Obama Identity/Eligibility Scandal again. I know that this is one rich and urgent topic that doesn´t see the light of day in certain so-called news outlets -- and I say that from the experience of watching my own syndicated columns

You could hear the deep breath, the pause before a conversational plunge. On the phone were Monica Gabrielle and Kristen Breitweiser. Their husbands died at the World Trade Center in the Sept. 11 attack. This week, a new effort to find remains from the site uncovered 39 pieces of what appeared to be human bones. That was the yield from the first three days of work in a process that is expected to go on for at least two months.

WASHINGTON — President Obama next week will take the political risk of formally proposing cuts to Social Security and Medicare in his annual budget in an effort to demonstrate his willingness to compromise with Republicans and revive prospects for a long-term deficit-reduction deal, administration officials say. In a significant shift in fiscal strategy, Mr. Obama on Wednesday will send a budget plan to Capitol Hill that departs from the usual presidential wish list that Republicans typically declare dead on arrival.

Washington is edging closer to a budget deal, thanks to a gutsy change in strategy at the White House. Next week, President Obama will propose specific cuts to Social Security and Medicare in his annual budget, according to senior White House officials. That will put the onus on House Speaker John Boehner to show some leadership, too. He needs to push Republicans toward accepting tax increases beyond the $600 billion approved in December. It can be done. As I reported last month, Washington’s biggest myth is that a budget deal is out of reach

WASHINGTON — The North Korean army warned the United States on Wednesday it has been cleared to wage nuclear war using “smaller, lighter and diversified weapons.” In a speech earlier in the day, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel noted that North Korea has both the nuclear weapons and the delivery system “now.” It’s the latest round in an escalation of rhetoric and actions that began with a North Korean nuclear test in February. Still, military officials and experts don’t expect North Korea to launch an attack on the United States.

Two breaking news alerts came through the wire this afternoon: First, the AP sent word that Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel has called North Korea´s latest rhetoric a real, clear danger and threat to the U.S. and its allies. Within minutes, CNBC announced that the Pentagon has sent a new missile defense to Guam. The reports that followed those alerts added some meat to the storty -- "Hagel´s comments come as tensions continue to rise between North and South Korea," etc. -- but they are notably lacking in context. How serious is the threat, really? Are the North and South on the verge of war, or is this yet another bluff?

In a bizarre new twist to the saga of Sen. Bob Menendez and his donor-friend Salomon Melgen, members of Melgen’s circle are now hurling accusations at FBI agents investigating the pair’s relationship. During an appearance on the weekly Dominican TV show La Respuesta last week, Melgen’s uncle Vincho Castillo accused the FBI of threatening and kidnapping two of Melgen’s maids. In addition to being the Dominican Republic’s top drug cop and founder of a far right-wing political party, Vincho Castillo is also the father of Vinicito Castillo, a lawyer who allegedly participated in sex parties organized by Melgen.

My nephew’s high school government class is studying propaganda, a word most students associated with Hitler, Goebbels, and the like. “I deal with propagandists every day,” I told the class in the Detroit area last week. “They work in the White House and in Congress--Republicans and Democrats alike.” The kids were a bit surprised. “Are you calling them Nazis?” one asked. Of course not, I replied, but politicians today are using new communications tools to spread their version of the truth, much of it misleading. A smart piece by Nancy Benac of the Associated Press describes how the Obama White House “image machine” works--“serving up a stream of words, images, and videos that invariably cast the president as commanding, compassionate, and on the ball.

Since November, the prospective death of the Republican coalition has hovered over American politics, and the autopsy has gained renewed attention in light of the debates over gay marriage and immigration, both of which split the GOP from rising chunks of the electorate. I’m an advocate of the theory, first put forward a decade ago by Ruy Teixeira and John Judis, that the electorate is forming a natural Democratic majority. The Republican Party appears to be caught in a double bind, in which the electorate is growingly progressively less white, and even younger white voters hold less conservative views than older ones. What’s more, evidence suggests that voters maintain the partisan allegiances they form at a young age. The picture looks grim for the GOP.

Sen. John McCain says he doesn´t understand the threats from some of his Republican colleagues to filibuster a bill on background checks to buy guns. "I don´t understand it," the Arizona Republican said on Sunday of the threat coming from Sen. Rand Paul,Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee and nine other Republicans. "The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand.” "What are we afraid of? ... If this issue is as important as we all think it is, why not take ... it up and debate?"

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
