Holly´s ´job´ bears a resemblence to Michelle´s former ´job´ with a hospital which benefited from her husband directing millions to her employer.

I´d love to see Holly´s job qualifications. All I could find was that she graduated from college and did volunteer work.

The simple fact that Petraeus even took a job under Obama should have been a tip off he might be a closet liberal.You can pretty much assume his wife is now.

Incomplete reporting here...she got the job after a meeting in the WH with the WH staffer slated to direct the new CFPB, but who was blocked = now Senator elect Elizabeth Warren of Mass and was among its first hires...Holly was a highly executive for the BBB working on military members/family consumer issues for a short period, a position she never applied for...one someone just called and offered her the newly created post...

Very disappointed in Patraeus. He is just as responsible for the death of those four Americans as are Obama and Hillary. Isn´t there some point at which the U.S. military tells Obama to stick it?

Evidently she didn´t spend any of that lavish taxpayer cash on personal grooming.

The least and reasonable thing to do is wait for Petraeus´ testimony. That he´s going to lie is pure unwarranted speculation at this point.

I get hope from the fact that he did not need a subpoena. Maybe he will roll over, but indications are that he may not.

The bribery, blackmail and sell-outs occuring during this administration would, doubtless, boggle the mind. Start with Old Media´s treachery in reporting lies and hiding any truth which would unmask the president ....

What truly amazes me is the vast number of people willing to become traitors for a price. I´m one of naive ones who actually believed most American citizens would stand up for country and countrymen. But John Wayne and Bob Hope are really dead, and today´s Hollywood has desecrated their memory.

Can´t help but wonder (according to Jay Carney, say) what in her background made Mrs. Petraeus uniquely qualified for the $187K a year job as "an assistant director in the Consumer Financia Protection Bureau".

Don´t bother organizing a weekend drinking game based on the number of times the alphabet media mentions this story. Your buds will go home parched.

Thoe who are confusing the Petraeus extramarital affairs with any guilt in the Benghazi matter may be thinking as well as they can but not too successfully. They are not related, except in a way many people may not have considered.

Holly´s pay - with no disrepect to her- is another indication that other people´s ( our) money is too easy to spend, as in Solyndra and other governmental matters.

This federal administration is running amok.

At the end of all this at least David and Holly will have each other.

#16. You bet. The proof of the pudding is in the tasting. I still have hopes that Petraeus will stand up and be counted. If he doesn´t then I will also be saddened by his "betrayal."

Besides, then if he lies, it´s no longer "speculation."

Can all the other Congrssional committees ask/require Petraeus to testify or does he have to appear only once? I´d love to see Jason Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy get their turns with the good general -- they seem pretty tenacious.

This bit of news makes the general and wifey a little more unsympathetic. Right now, General P is at the scum ball level, and wifey, pigging out there in the troff.There are so many facets to this story, there will be a point where there are no surprises.

I might add, that the msm will be spinning anything that comes out of a "closed" hearing like a whirling dervish. Hopefully we get the real truth.

Not bad.//Hitler gave his field marshals and senior generals gifts of large sums of money to shore up their loyalty. Obama is indirectly doing the same thing.

considering that the WH is trying to destroy Petraeus, I´m not, and I´m not at the moment interested in any negative story the WH could have planted. I just don´t want to join any chorus they are leading. Let´s wait and see what Petraeus does. I can just imagine one of the WH equerries noting to Petraeus that it didn´t take long for the right to turn on him in a pack. let´s give him a chance.
