Next-Gen GOP Leaders Slam Romney
for ´Gift´ Remarks

Big Government, by Willilam Bigelow

Original Article

Posted By:trapper, 11/15/2012 8:58:44 PM

The new spiritual leaders of the Republican Party have come out swinging against Mitt Romney for his controversial remarks on a donor conference call about why Barack Obama won reelection. According to the New York Times, Romney said Obama had followed the “old playbook” of using targeted initiatives to woo specific interest groups — “especially the African-American community, the Hispanic community and young people.”

Comments:
First, who made Jindahl, Rubio, and Scott our "spiritual leaders"? Second, according to Gov. Scott of Florida "we want to take care of every citizen in our state.” Really? THAT is now what Republicans stand for? Sigh.

I´ll repeat it here: If Rubio and Jindal are the "Next-Gen GOP" then we need to skip a generation.

I like Rubio, but he´s starting to get on my nerves, and never cared for Jindal at all and wouldn´t vote for him if he was running for dog catcher

The future of the republican party, the conservative movement and this country does not run through Barb Bush´s rolodex.

This is the ideas wing of the party, not the party of connections, prep school ties and well financed Wall Street acquaintances. They grew up on Reagan and Kemp, not the middle of the road free shrimp and merlot country club republicanism of Rockfeller and Bush.
2010 and the T party movement was born out of frustration and disgust not only with Obama, but with the republican party establishment that views middle America as weird, church going rubes who are only there for pandering. No more Bushes, or Bush surrogates, no more Romneys. The ideas articulated by other presidential candidates caught attention, generated discussion and provided meaningful contrast to the Obama administration, even without the help of the media.
The times, they are a changin.

Romney was right. Marco and Bobby are talking to their base now that the 2012 election is over. Why don´t they hone in on all the irregularities of the vote before they start criticizing the Candidate? Romney´s biggest problem was the same as George W. Bush´s problem - he was too nice. I just wish he would have been more aggressive. I really was hoping to have a lovely First Lady - one who really could relate to people.

The GOP is somewhat to blame, too. Mainly Romney´s advisers who also advised McCain really lost the election for us. Schmidt and the woman (can´t remember her name)went by the 2008 playbook instead of making a new one for 2012.

Let´s take back our schools, let´s take down the liberal media, let´s take over the Republican party leadership positions at all levels instead of complaining about it being run by the elits.

The United States is planning to give up its last remaining authority over the technical management of the Internet. The Commerce Department announced Friday that it will give the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), an international nonprofit group, control over the database of names and addresses that allows computers around the world to connect to each other. Administration officials say U.S. authority over the Internet address system was always intended to be temporary and that ultimate power should rest with the "global Internet community." CPAC presented a panel on immigration today. I wasn’t there, but this report suggests that the panel was an improvement over last year’s, which was basically a cheerleading session for amnesty and a path to citizenship. Unlike last year, today’s panel included one member, Derrick Morgan of the Heritage Foundation, who opposes that agenda. The panel was supposed to discuss this question: “Can there be meaningful immigration reform without citizenship?” The answer is “yes” if one believes that amnesty represents meaningful immigration reform.

By a 2-1 vote, a panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday rejected Google´s assertion that the removal of the film "Innocence of Muslims," amounted to a prior restraint of speech that violated the U.S. Constitution.
