APNewsBreak: Iran Ready
to Ramp up Nuke Program

Associated Press, by George Jahn

Original Article

VIENNA - Iran is on the threshold of being able to create weapons-grade uranium at a plant it has heavily fortified against Israeli attack, diplomats told The Associated Press on Thursday, calling into question an Israeli claim that Iran had slowed its nuclear time table. One of three diplomats who discussed the issue said Iran was now technically ready within days to ramp up its production of 20 percent enriched uranium at its Fordo facility by nearly 700 centrifuges. That would double present output, and cut in half the time it would take

Media -- who sent what titillating emails to whom? [Not that they would use "whom."]

Obama -- not my fault [whatever it is].

Reality -- Iran´s Mad Mullahs press along building nuclear explosives.

So -- would it tick you off to bury some relatives? Or maybe, to have to buy a marker to commemorate relatives incinerated thanks to the latest criminal malfeasance by the politicians? Like 9/11 families had to do?

Quick, send in piaps. She can construct a framework for a discussion on how to begin negotiations with Iran on their nuclear program. Such a foreign policy "triumph" just might earn the little piggy a peace prize on her way out as SOS.

Iran´s nuclear program wouldn´t be an issue if all countries would respect Article IV of the NPT, which states: "Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Articles I and II of this Treaty."

Iran shouldn´t have to forteit its right just because some people in other countries are paranoid about Iran´s intentions.

Iran has funded and supported terrorists organizations in the Middle East for years. Iran says they are going to wipe Israel off the map. What peaceful intentions?

Hamas begins a diversionary action to tie up the Israeli Military while Iran puts all the bells and whistles on it´s delivery system.

Before robbing the bank on the south side of town....the prudent and thoughtful criminal will remember to start a diversionary fire on the north side of town to divert assets and attention away from the scene of the intended crime.

Bravo !!!

It is not necessary to atack heavily fortified sites. All that is needed is to drop something heavy, like an old refrigerator, on the heads of the Khameinis and Ahmadinnerjackets.

WASHINGTON — An ethical cloud is following Sen. Robert Menendez in Washington, even as he has leading roles in some of Congress´ most important policy debates. The New Jersey Democrat heads the Senate´s Foreign Affairs Committee at a time when tensions with Syria, Iran and North Korea are rising. At home, the Cuban-American lawmaker is at the center of the immigration overhaul fight that´s captivating Capitol Hill. All the while, a Senate Ethics Committee investigation into Menendez´s conduct persists, with many of the same questions about politics, money and influence that have dogged members of Congress

Candida Moss, a professor of early Christianity at the University of Notre Dame and a practicing Catholic, wants to shatter what she calls the “myth” of martyrdom in the Christian faith. (Snip) Moss contends that when Christians were executed, it was often not because of their religious beliefs but because they wouldn´t follow Roman rules. Many laws that led to early Christians’ execution were not specifically targeted at them—such as a law requiring all Roman citizens to engage in a public sacrifice to the gods—but their refusal to observe those laws and other mores of Roman

Hanneman died Thursday morning of liver failure at a Los Angeles hospital with his wife, Kathy, by his side, according to Slayer spokeswoman Heidi Robinson-Fitzgerald. He was 49.

J.C. Penney Co. (JCP) is apologizing. The department-store chain is airing a television commercial this week -- in time for Mother’s Day -- that says it made mistakes and asks former customers to come back. Development of the 30-second ad began a few months ago after executives reviewed customer feedback, Joey Thomas, a company spokesman, said in an e-mail. In other words, the ad originated under Ron Johnson, the former chief executive officer who alienated customers by ditching discounts and axing dozens of popular brands in favor of ones aimed at younger shoppers.

MEXICO CITY — President Obama on Friday painted a sunny picture of a modern Mexico emerging from its past troubles, an attempt at rebranding that serves the political aims of both governments but clashes with the realities of a country beset by violence and poverty. On his second day of a swing through Latin America, Obama emphasized optimism about Mexico´s economic future and offered a broad endorsement of President Enrique Peña Nieto´s reform agenda. Speaking to a crowd largely made up of high school and college students, Obama pushed the next generation of Mexicans to continue to demand change.

A new poll from Emily’s List shows an overwhelming number of voters now support the idea. It’s a movement the group hopes someone in the sisterhood is about to inherit. With polls showing Hillary Clinton holding a formidable lead over all other potential candidates for president in 2016, a press conference to promote the idea of a woman president seems a little behind the news, a treasured dream catching up with a new reality, or perhaps a stalking horse for Clinton.

About 30 minutes into my job as a picker, the strawberry fairy left her first gift. On one of the beds of berries that seemed to stretch forever into the Santa Maria marine layer, Elvia Lopez had laid a little bundle of picked fruit. She and the other three dozen Mexican immigrants in the field were bent at an almost 90-degree angle, using two hands to pack strawberries into plastic containers that they pushed along on ungainly one-wheeled carts. They moved forward, relentlessly, ever bent, following a hulking machine with a conveyor belt that spirited away their fruit.

Hi, everybody. Today, I’m speaking to you from the road — a trip to Mexico and Costa Rica. I’m here because Latin America represents an incredible opportunity for the United States, especially when it comes to my top priority as President: creating good, middle-class jobs. On Friday, we learned that our businesses created another 176,000 jobs last month. That’s 2.2 million new jobs over the past year, and 6.8 million new jobs over the past 38 months. But as I´ve said before, I won’t be satisfied until everyone who wants a job can find one.
