Libya timeline suggests cover-up in attack

| The Obama administration’s public versions of events in the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya have been riddled with discrepancies, starting soon after the American dead and survivors left behind a charred diplomatic compound and bullet-scarred CIA building in Benghazi. The administration’s inconsistencies go beyond its false assertion for days afterward that a made-in-America anti-Muslim video spurred “spontaneous” Sept. 11 assaults in which U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, his information officer and two former Navy SEALs were killed.

So where the HECK are the other 30 or so people extracted the next day? Are they all in a detention center or what? And why is no one asking this question???

Good overview of what we all know. As to the special ops forces out of Croatia this is an interesting assessment of the timeline:

No the Libya timeline doesn´t just suggest a cover up. The Libya timeline screams cover up to all who are paying attention.
That doesn´t include much of the media however, because it doesn´t fit their dogma very well.

Evidence points to a quick hit planned on a defenseless compound. Chris Stephens and the bald guy,(Sorry), were to be taken out. Wearhouse emptied, and what was missing? Anyone?? Finally, lots of documents and loyal allies to expose and betray. Stand down fellow Americans, that was the Order. They never planned for the SEALs to show up and drag out the struggle for hours. Surprise Barry. Just made your lying job, harder.

I find it amazing that the administration (FBI & Holder) would say no national security was initially involved with the Petraus investigation, so they didn´t have to notify congress, yet the same ya-hoos took nearly a month to get the FBI into Benghazi to investigate. By that time, the reporters (who didn´t seem to have a problem getting there) had scarfed up all the classified documents laying around. Ironic, isn´t it?

It´s not the fingerprints but the timeline that always nails them. Yes, the tad too clever ones. The ones who think of the gloves and the compound rehearsed stories to cover their tracks and invent plausible alibis. But, oops...that pesky timeline.
You want to be a real journalist? You want to ferret out the real story? Ask them about the blatant and unanswerable inconsistencies in the indisputable timeline.

Using Occam´s Razor: Patraeus, knowing the true nature of the Benghazi attack, initially testified that a video caused the attack because he was being blackmailed.

For #1 and 18, I don´t believe there were 30 people ´´extracted´´. Remember when the fighting was going on, there was a contingent of Marines sent from Tripoli and when they got to Benghazi, they were supplemented with about 20 or so Libyans. They surrounded the compound and engaged the enemy, but had to beat feet back to Tripoli. The extraction story was just another attempt to make it look like the admin. was semi-successful at outraged Muzzie crowd control.

No information of WHO decided to develop the $70 million video shown in Pok-is-stan apologizing for the 15 minute trailer. Just when did instructions come to produce that and who could do it in less than 24 hours and secure viewing time on Pokie T.V. Was the LIAR-in-Chief trying to expand eruptions of protest in other regions with their apology video.

Can´t remember where, but I read that the "other thirty" are CIA employees and now in Germany.
Wouldn´t want them chatting frankly about what was going on day to day in the last two months before the attack. And we really wouldn´t want them telling about the last seven hours.
Imagine the carrot and stick treatment they´re experiencing right now.

Correct #6, beware of media generated "timelines" such as the one put on line by CBS as they tend to distort reality.CBS totally fails to list Clinton´s rant about the "video" and anything that in any way puts the real culprits in this Administration in a bad light.

FTA: "Still lingering is the issue of an exact timeline for President Obama on Sept. 11 after the White House received a State Department email about 4 p.m. (10 p.m. Libya time) stating that the consulate was under attack."
This itself contains a deception: implying that the message was normal "email" from the consulate, rather than "flash message" traffic, which is transmitted via secure, priority channels directly into the WH situation room, and, per protocols, is required to be hand-delivered by the watch officer to the President or his immediate representative. Bottom line: there is NO WAY Zero didn´t know virtually in real time that the consulate was under attack and the situation was desperate.

#29, what was going on was a gun-running operation to the Syrian ´opposition´ (aka, muslim brotherhood in Syria), and tring to get back the weapons we gave to the Lybian ´opposition´ (aka, the Lybian muslim brotherhood). Stephens had been the initial contact man with the Lybian oppo before they got Khadaffi, and he was trying to retrieve the stuff we had given them and send it thru Turkey to Syria. Hence the visitor from Turkey who left about an hour before the attack began.

Does it trouble the media that the Commander in Chief is taking months to figure out where he was and what he did on September 11 ??? Obama´s very defensive and angry presser yesterday , complete with his voice going into the whiny high octaves was a tell. I bet anything that Barry was drunk, doped up or behind closed doors with his latest boy toy. The fact that he couldn´t say at 5pm on September 11 , in the Situation Room , I immediately ordered all resources deployed to rescue the Americans , is the key. Instead , he uses the lawyerly phrase " when I was told " I then ordered blah, blah to rescue those folks.

Democratic Party officials believe that Kevin Strouse is exactly the kind of candidate who can help them retake the House next year. He’s a smart, young former Army Ranger — good qualities for any aspiring politician. But what party leaders really like is that Strouse doesn’t have particularly strong views on the country’s hottest issues. Immigration? Tax policy? “Certainly I have a lot of research to do,” Strouse acknowledged in an interview Thursday as he announced his candidacy in a suburban Philadelphia House district. Strouse’s candidacy reflects an emerging

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Sponsored by the Poynter journalism center and funded by the McCormick Foundation of Chicago, we gathered in a city that witnessed 506 homicides last year. The idea, I take it

Carbon emissions in the US were at their lowest level in 2012 since 1994, according to figures released by the US Energy Information Administration. We did it without carbon trading scams, the EPA making carbon dioxide a poison, or obeying the dictates of the Kyoto climate Treaty. We did it partly because of decreased economic activity as a result of the Obama recovery-that-isn’t, but mostly because of good old fashioned market forces; competition between natural gas and coal: Energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in 2012 were the lowest in the United States since 1994

Lately these protesters have been infiltrating orientation sessions and campus tours for prospective students, mostly high school juniors traveling with their parents. It is amazing just how wrong economists were in their predictions for the number of jobs that were to be created in March. The “consensus” figure was 200,000 — a far cry from the actual number created which was 88,000. Totally “unexpected,” as usual. In one way, you can’t blame them. After a better than average gain in February of 236,000 (revised upward this month to 268,000), along with some positive numbers in housing and consumer spending, there were no doubt many analysts who began breathing a sigh of relief and believing that the long-awaited jobs recovery was upon us.

Rich Lowery in the New York Post (4-02-2013) accuses the liberals of being the new climate deniers, considering that they don´t recognize that there´s been no global warming for the last fifteen years. This shouldn´t surprise Lowery. When the liberals hang onto the neck of a cause, they don´t let go. They have ignored murders, rapes, wars, nuclear proliferation, and everything wrong with the world to focus in on their little area -- the horror of carbon emissions. You´d think liberals would have learned from their earlier panic about overpopulation

President Obama will propose a budget next week that embraces a risky strategy of courting Republicans for a grand bargain on the debt while angering Democratic allies with cuts to the nation’s entitlement programs. White House officials said Friday that Obama’s budget would cut Medicare and Social Security and ask for less tax revenue than he has previously sought. The budget, to be released Wednesday, will fully incorporate the offer Obama made to House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) during December’s “fiscal cliff” talks — which included $1.8 trillion in deficit reduction through spending cuts and tax increases.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. According to a White House statement, the Obama administration believes the current rules allow some wealthy individuals "to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving."
