Veteran F.B.I. Agent Helped
Start Petraeus E-Mail Inquiry

New York Times, by Michael S. Schmidt

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 11/14/2012 6:41:50 PM

Dover, Fla. - The F.B.I. agent who helped start the investigation that led to the resignation of David H. Petraeus as C.I.A. director is a “hard-charging” veteran counterterrorism investigator who used his command of French in investigating the foiled “millennium” terrorist plot in 1999, colleagues said on Wednesday. The agent, Frederick W. Humphries II, 47, took the initial complaint from Jill Kelley, the Tampa, Fla., hostess who was socially active in military circles there, about e-mails she found disturbing that accused her of inappropriately flirtatious behavior toward Mr. Petraeus.

Comments:
*W/ Michael S. Schmidt reported from Dover, Scott Shane from Washington, and Alain Delaquérière from New York. Eric Schmitt contributed reporting from Washington.

So much info, but still no 0bama birth certificate or college transcripts [at any price].

This is far more interesting than some of the other "reporting" we´ve seen today.

Explains his family´s relationship with the Kelleys (which goes way back).

Explains the shirtless photo sent years ago as a family prank (and what a ridiculous news picup that was!).

Explains how he became frustrated when he thought the investigation was going nowhere, so got to Eric Cantor through an intermediary.

Obie confirmed in his presser today things that had been speculated since 9/11. Susan Rice was doing a presentation when she appeared on the Sunday shows. She knew nothing about Benghazi, was just relaying intel she had been given (by whom?). "Don´t go after her, go after me!"

As Charles Krauthammer just said, he will regret some of the things he volunteered today when he panicked.

Why was the UN ambassador sent to Sunday talk shows in the first place? It is the Secretary of State who oversees embassies and consulate personnel. Very strange selection by Zero.

If only we had more Agent Humphries. Had he not gone to Canter we still might not know about Petraeus. Agent Humphries may have a good case of retaliation under the Whistleblowers act. How did the FBI respond? By leaking a story about a photo, leaving the impression that it was recently sent and was sexual in nature. That´s it. Kill the messenger. His career is over. NYT´s fluff piece, to claim they are investigating the sex scandal, NOT Benghazi.

In what kind of "social relationships of families" do people send shirtless photos of themselves? This is just bizarre!

Anthony Weiner was also in a social relationship with people on social pages, was´t he?

The "shirtless" photo of him was taken posing between two shooting range targets. Apparently the families exchanged goofy photos once in a while.

Some are following the media´s kneejerk reaction to this information and have jumped to its being some kind of thing going on with Jill Kelley. How gullible we are, how eager we are to believe the worst at even a hint from the media. I thought we were smarter than that around here?

That press conference was beyond creepy. The fawning press, especially the woman who seemed to want to get really close to the Prez.. and then the spirited defense of Susan Ric.

What was up with that? I´ve never seen him so passionate and roused out of his usual sleepy lethargy. And calling out two senators by name.

I wish I thought he would regret it, but he won´t. He will never be held accountable.

If you go up against the libs, the press will punish you by maligning you and lying about you. Thanks to the "moron majority" that surround us, this works pretty well to erase the facts that were brought forward at great cost.

This photograph shows FBI Special Agent Frederick W. Humphries posing with target dummies following a SWAT practice. You don´t have to go to the Griffith Observatory or other prime watching spot to view the first total lunar eclipse of 2014. Numerous "blood moon" video streams are available on the Web. The Griffith Observatory will be streaming the event live from the Zeiss dome beginning at 9:45 p.m. The Slooh Observatory in the Canary Islands will also be doing a live stream. NASA is also planning a live stream, with experts taking questions from viewers. For those who want to take in the event in person, Griffith Observatory decided to open its doors Monday (it´s usually closed). "We are expecting large crowds," the observatory said in a statement.

Guantanamo Bay Navy Base, Cuba - A military judge abruptly recessed the first 9/11 trial hearing of the year Monday after defense lawyers accused the FBI in open court of trying to turn a defense team security officer into a secret informant. If true, the lawyers argued, attorney-client confidentiality might be compromised in the case that seeks to put on trial and execute five men accused of orchestrating the Sept. 11 attacks that killed 3,000 people in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon. At issue, in part, was the publication in January of prison camp musings by the alleged 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheik Mohammed,

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)
