Former Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele is floating the idea of running for his old post again. In an interview on C-SPAN on Sunday, Steele was first asked if he thought current RNC Chairman Reince Priebus should run for another term. Priebus has suggested that he is leaning toward running for reelection. "That´s gonna be something the members have to decide," Steele said. Steele was then asked if he would consider running for RNC chairman again. "It´s not a bad idea." Steele said in response. "It would shake up

Guys,

Quit griping. Do something. I wrote two long e-mails to the RNC today and told them they would not get another dime from me until they grew a pair and started to fight back. I told them to see if they could coax the Speaker out of the tanning bed long enough to register a complaint over the travesty that was the last election and the manifest demonstrations of outright fraud. One needs only to look as far as Allen West. He was only granted a partial re-count and discovered over 500 fraudulent votes and they´re giving him a hard time because not he wants a complete re-count. So far Bohener hasn´t done a damn thing except make a few gentlemanly noises at the thug from Chicago in the white house.

Hopefully the young people who will suffer the most from these dinosaurs´ ignorance and the Progressive´s evil will form a new constitutional party that resembles the Libertarians.

#29 I agree..IMO, Steele ran his expense account up like a demonrat, and put the RNC in a very large hole. The only thing missing was a mask and a gun. Reince Preibus worked hard to change that perception. It is the people who put obama back in office that are REALLY "stuck on stupid". No reason for the GOP to join them by letting Steele do even more damage to the party.

Is it enough? Obama imposes sanctions

WASHINGTON – Faced with calls for a swift and stern reaction to Russia´s threatened annexation of Crimea, President Obama wielded his executive pen Monday morning, slapping seven in Vladimir Putin´s inner circle -- but not the Russian president himself -- with sanctions freezing their U.S. assets. But almost immediately, some criticized Obama´s response as not being enough to change Putin´s course. With Crimea voting Sunday to break off from Ukraine, Russia is poised to potentially annex the disputed peninsula -- and freezing U.S. assets of Putin cronies and barring them from traveling to the U.S. may have limited effect. Thanks to Obamacare, Democrats just lost a special election in a Florida House district that President Obama won in 2012. So what do you think vulnerable Democrats in states and districts Obama lost in 2012 are thinking today? The problem is Democrats can’t run from Obama or Obamacare. Yes, the president is electoral kryptonite in 2014. But Democrats are caught in the Obama trap — unable to either embrace or repudiate their unpopular president and his unpopular health law. This is precisely the position vulnerable Republicans were in during the 2006 midterm elections, when Democrats retook control of Congress thanks to George W. Bush’s sinking poll numbers. Like

After a facing a bruising defeat over President Obama´s pick for a key Justice Department post this month, the White House is carefully weighing how to move forward with the president´s pick for surgeon general. The nomination has drawn heckles from gun rights advocates. Former U.N. By now it’s settled on most people, including Democrats, that the loss of Alex Sink to David Jolly in Florida’s 13th Congressional District was, in the words of the New York Times, “devastating” to Democrats. It’s a district Ms. Sink carried in her unsuccessful race for governor against Rick Scott, a district that Barack Obama carried in his two elections, and a district that demographically now favors Democrats. In addition, Ms. Sink raised more money and ran a better campaign than Jolly. Even Bill Clinton lent his efforts to her campaign. And yet she lost. What should particularly alarm Democrats is

Late night comedian Bill Maher told his HBO “Real Time” audience on Friday that God was a “psychotic mass murderer.” He made the comments during a conversation on the biblical story of Noah and the upcoming Hollywood version of it that’s about to hit the big screen. “But the thing that’s really disturbing about Noah isn’t the silly, it’s that it’s immoral. It’s about a psychotic mass murderer who gets away with it, and his name is God,” Mr. Maher said, adding, “What kind of tyrant punishes everyone just to get back at the few he’s mad at? I mean, besides

It’s been less than six months since Bret Stephens used a version of this headline, but four events in the last week have caused it to scream in my mind. Before I get into those four events, let me say that I understand the only way to stay remotely sane in Washington, D.C., is to ignore 85 percent of whatever is trending at any given moment. That said, there are times anyone less isolated than a Carthusian monk is unavoidably exposed to “news” that 25 years ago would be considered fit only for National Enquirer. The four events that have disturbed

The Rev. Fred Phelps Sr., founder of the hate-fueled Westboro Baptist Church, is at “the edge of death,” his son reports. Nathan Phelps, who fled the infamous Kansas church more than 30 years ago, claims his notorious father was kicked out of the congregation he built and is now spending his final days in hospice care. “I´ve learned that my father, Fred Phelps, Sr., pastor of the "God Hates (deleted to clear site filter)" Westboro Baptist Church, was ex-communicated from the ‘church’ back in August of 2013,” Nathan Phelps wrote on Facebook. “He is now on the edge of death at

As the search for the missing flight MH370 enters its 10th day with few clues as to its whereabouts, the New Straits Times said today the Boeing 777-200ER dropped 5,000 feet (1,500m) to evade commercial radar detection. In an exclusive story, the government-backed paper said investigators analysing MH370’s flight data revealed that the 200-tonne, fully laden twinjet descended 1,500m or even lower to evade commercial (secondary) radar coverage after it turned back from its flight path en route to Beijing. (Snip) Investigators poring over MH370’s flight data had said the plane had flown low and used “terrain masking” as it

BOSTON- Boston´s Irish-American mayor will not march in the city´s St. Patrick´s Day parade on Sunday after failing to hammer out a deal with organizers to allow a group of gay and lesbian activists to march openly. Mayor Marty Walsh had tried to negotiate a deal with organizers, the conservative Allied War Veteran´s Council, to allow members of MassEquality, one of Massachusetts´ largest gay activist groups, to join the parade. "So much of our Irish history has been shaped by the fight against oppression," Walsh, the city´s first Irish-American mayor in 20 years, said in a statement. "As mayor of

Error 404: U.S. officials plan to relinquish federal control over the administration of the Internet to something called the "global Internet community," which is full of tyrants to whom the free flow of information is a threat. In the wake of the NSA surveillance scandal, some might not be inclined to defend federal involvement in anything related to the flow of information between individuals. But the decision announced Friday by the Commerce Department to give up next year its oversight of Icann, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, to the "global Internet community" is a bad idea. One of our planes is missing. That’s basically all we know for certain right now, but more than a week after losing contact with flight MH370, there are a lot of other suggestive bits of information. Unfortunately, a lot of it is, as usual, being reported by news readers who barely understand that you don’t want to keep the pointy end aimed at the ground for an extended time. Here’s some things we do know now. The first indication of trouble was when the transponder stopped responding to radar. This is the point where newspeople are saying it “dropped off the radar,”

The number bounced around for years — 46 million. President Obama said it in August 2009: “I don’t have to explain to you that nearly 46 million Americans don’t have health insurance coverage today. In the wealthiest nation on Earth, 46 million of our fellow citizens have no coverage.” He said it dozens more times, including in June 2013: “We are not a nation that accepts nearly 46 million uninsured men, women and children.” The Obama administration pumped the number with official reports. The White House Council of Economic Advisers said, “Perhaps the most visible sign of the need for health care
