Who´s doing who in the Obama
team´s sex scandals: A handy guide

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

Original Article

All of these post-election Obama administration scandals really seem to be sliding out of control now that the election is complete. We´ll try to help you out here with a sexual scorecard. It´s so confusing who was embedding whom when. And now new allegations this morning involving yet another high-ranking, horny general being promoted by the Democrat administration. No wonder Defense Secy. Leon Panetta is out of the country and the president will be too this weekend.

Duty, honor, country . . . and hot chicks.

Anyone surprised we can´t defeat (as Mark Steyn says) a bunch of goatherds with string & fertilizer bombs?

Because sex scandals are juicier than boring old impeachable offenses like treasonous acts, such as allowing an Ambassador, a diplomatic aide, and two other Americans to die at the hands of Islamists.

I propose we start a posting rating system based on 0 to 5 Squirrels in order to affix a level to just how much smoke and mirrors is being deployed to save Obama´s bony behind with a particular media story. At the end of the week, we tally up the Squirrels and give A Golden Squirrel to the person, place, meme, spin, etc. that best deflected the media gaze from their Beloved One that particular week. Every month we can assign a Platinum Squirrel. And every year, for the grand finale, the coveted Manure Squirrel.

GOP on ObamaCare: ´We´re spending billions

Hello. I’m Thad Cochran, United States Senator for Mississippi. The beginning of the New Year is a time when many Americans decide to make positive changes in their lives. It can be a time we decide to adopt healthier lifestyles or take a fresh look at the family budget. Unfortunately, as this year begins many people are worried about how the so-called Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare, is affecting both their health and personal finances. Republicans in the Senate think we should repeal or defund the program.

Hi, everybody. Yesterday, we learned that in 2013, our businesses created 2.2 million new jobs — including 87,000 last month. Our unemployment rate is the lowest it has been since October 2008. And across our broader economy, there are signs of progress. [Snip] We’ve cut our deficits by more than half. Thanks to the hard work and sacrifice of the American people, our economy is growing stronger. But we know we’ve got more work to do together. It depends on the success of the American people. It depends on your ability to make ends meet and provide for your families.

In a few pages, a unique former Secy of Defense has put the Obama White House in full defense mode this week about the president and the VP, their intellectual capabilities & their political and management strategies, or lack. And Robert Gates´ memoir, "Duty," also coincidentally messed up Obama´s preferred message about unemployment these days. But now the focus is on Gates´ book. Gates is the only man to hold the defense job under a Republican and a Democrat. [Snip] Gates´ book is an indictment of Obama as president, saying he did not believe in his own war strategy.

Obama, back at ´work,´

President Obama, who´s been on vacation since earlier last year, is finally back in the White House today, as is Joe Biden, who´s also been idling on a warm island. Michelle Obama opted to fly home separately this year, taking extra sunny days in Hawaii with friends celebrating her 50th birthday. Not that the president cares, but he confronts a chilly public this month. Faced with a stubbornly sluggish job market and soaring costs for ObamaCare´s health insurance, including fully 18 new taxes, mandates and penalties, a whopping majority of Americans sees their country going down the wrong track.

Hi, everybody, and Happy New Year. This is a time when we look ahead to all the possibilities and opportunities of the year to come — when we resolve to better ourselves, and to better our relationships with one another. And today, I want to talk about one place that Washington should start. Just a few days after Christmas, more than one million of our fellow Americans lost a vital economic lifeline — the temporary insurance that helps folks make ends meet while they look for a job.

We didn´t want to jump the gun on 2014 midterm election coverage. So we waited until the third day of the first month. With Nov. 4 only 305 days away and the president still playing golf on an island, the shape of one major campaign theme is crystal clear: ObamaCare, disaster or calamity? Much is at stake in the second midterm elections of any presidency that rarely go the president´s way. Not just 435 House seats are up. But 36 of 50 governor´s offices, of which the GOP now controls 29. And most importantly, 36 of 100 Senate seats.

Barack Obama was supposed to be on vacation in Hawaii all this week. The White House media pool had him golfing again with old Choom Gang buddies, while his family as usual did something elsewhere. Somehow, through the electronic magic of OFA, Obama´s political arm, he also contacted millions of supporters in a year-end email. The tease was straight-faced praise for ObamaCare as the kind of "fundamental change" America badly needs. Obama declared his insurance scheme can´t be undone. Then, the vacationing Democrat asked working supporters back home to commit to him in 2014--and please donate at least $15.

First the good news from President Obama´s final news conference of 2013: "I´ve run my last political race." Of course, Obama made no new news. If he´d wanted to make news, he would not have scheduled it on short notice and on a Friday, when politicians release news they want ignored. Obama has broken so many promises, claimed ignorance of so many of his responsibilities and underlings´ failures and violated protocols, not to mention the Constitution. [Snip] In the interests of accountability, we’ve drafted a few pressing unasked questions that Obama would have tried to dodge.

Good morning from Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois — the proud alma mater of Ronald Reagan. On campuses like this, young people are just beginning to make choices that will shape their future. Right now — even in the middle of finals week — they’re being told that to make the future better, they should rush out and get covered under the president’s health care law. Not only that, they’re being told to “spread the word” about what a great deal it is.

Hi, everybody. This week, Congress finished up some important work before heading home for the holidays. For the first time in years, both parties came together in the spirit of compromise to pass a budget — one that helps chart our economic course for the next two years. This budget will unwind some of the damaging cuts that have threatened students and seniors and held back our businesses. It clears the path for critical investments in the things that grow our economy and strengthen our middle class.

Yet another hectic day planned for the Obama-Biden administration. [Snip] A new Gallup Poll is about fallout from the collapse of the creaky old Soviet Union, the long-time superpower rival. Pushed by the aggressive "We Win, You Lose" policies of President Reagan, the aging Communist monolith flew apart 22 years ago next week. The Soviet breakup was seen as a grand strategic victory for the U.S. and for the global spread of democracy to unleash prosperity for those populations. So, you might be surprised to learn this survey finds the populations of 11 liberated lands very disappointed.

In 1994 or early 1995 the still unknown Barack Obama sent his editor at Times Books, Henry Ferris, the first two-thirds of his memoir Dreams from My Father. He told Ferris that to complete the book, he had to return to Kenya to do some research. The evidence strongly suggests that Obama went not to Kenya to do that research but to the local library to do some borderline plagiarizing. In the way of background, Barack and Michelle Obama visited Kenya in the summer of 1992 and married in October of that year. There is little dispute about the timing of

Washington - Just days after dismissing two top advisers for their roles in the George Washington Bridge scandal, New Jersey Gov. Before Chris Christie’s first scandal devolves into an obsessive quest to prove who knew what, when, it’s worth pausing to appreciate the wonderful, quintessential New Jerseyness of the incident itself. What happened, roughly, is this. On August 13, Bridget Anne Kelly, one of Christie’s three deputy chiefs of staff, sent an email to David Wildstein, a Christie confidant serving as an executive for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which controls much of the transit infrastructure of northern Jersey. Kelly said that it was “time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.” Some speculate that the precipitating
