| So… Barack Obama won re-election to the office of President of the United States, and Republican challenger Mitt Romney has slipped into obscurity faster than any candidate I’ve ever seen. Aside from futile, quasi-navel gazing posturing on the part of Congress over the “fiscal cliff” upon which the American economy is perched, news coverage since the election has been rife with diversion and non-issues.We’re already sick of hearing autopsies of the Romney campaign. Suffice it to say that there is a host of reasons that Romney should not have been the GOP nominee,

What needs to happen is that the freedom loving people of the world need to get together and form a new country. This is a "global" movement to enslave us all. God help us.

History tells us that the battle won this November by the Progressive movement will cost them the War. The political blood spilt in this election will be the seeds of victory in future elections.

Voter fraud is a non-issue. If it was an issue, then the fact that the guy running for Presidend is a FRAUD in every sense of the word and NOT eligible for the office would have been at least looked into.
It boggles my mind that every Republican with the abiliiy to do something about this travesty.... this defrauding of America... this trashing of our Constitution... has allowed himself to be intimidated into not saying a word.
Why has obama published TWO forged / fake birth certificates ? (Who cares ??) Why is obama using a FAKE social security numbe (who cares ???)
Here is a guy with a mandate to stay the course and complete the job (which he started 4 years ago) of DESTROYING our Nation and making the life of every single person in America MORE miserable...
and we just let it happen... not even looking or talking about the probability that he is a USURPER !
We really can´t blame obama... he is a low life con man and is going to behave exactly as one would expect a low life con man to behave... We have to blame ourselves... We have become sheep and have elected a bunch of COWARDS as our "leaders" and representatives.

When the party that has the power to investigate and punish voter fraud is the same party that does all of the voter fraud, thinking that anything will ever be done about voter fraud is a pipe dream.
I guess the Republican´s only hope is to get as good with voter fraud as the Demon-RATS. Of course, the Demon-RATS have decades of experience under their belts, so it´s going to be really hard to catch up.
But it´s a mute point anyway. As soon as NØbama gives blanket amnesty and citizenship to 20,000,000 illegal alliens -- all immediately Demon-RAT voters -- there won´t be a red state left in this country. Plenty of new volunteers (along with the New Black Panthers, La Raza, Planned Parenthood, etc) to join NØbama´s new Brown Shirt Militia. With the best weaponry our tax dollars can buy, and the sheer numbers they can throw at us, and their merciless lack of respect for life (at least for anglo male life), a civil war is just another pipe dream...

When Bush and the Republicans HAD the power to have gone all out investigating and correcting voter fraud, they did NOTHING. They had ALL levers of power and they squandered it.

The once proud Republican Party was told to sit down and shut up by the Roves and the O´Reily´s of the Faux Conservatives.
I was chastised before on this site about not supporting Romney during the primaries, but this man couldn´t even bring himself to discuss the topics of the day (all I heard was how he could create jobs) much less the issues surrounding the birth certificate, SS number, Frank Marshall, Bill Ayres, and the host of other campaign killers.
I also asked my son who returned from Afghanistan if the military would ever help the government control the citizens in any resurgent movement against tyranny. His answer was yes they would because all the officers are so afraid of losing their jobs and becoming homeless that they would obey the order to arrest us.
From poster #4 above, there was a country started by freedom loving people from all over the world, it´s gone now. RIP USA
Our only remedy now is for the total collapse of the system and the beginning of WIII, only then will the men of this country stand up fight because if they don´t, their lives will be snuffed out and their women and children will be put into slavery, or worse. Without a manufacturing base the run up to this conflict will be so horrible that not even the Progressives will be able to survive.
Solution: begin building your own protection, learn survival tactics. Read up on where to find natural edible plants, and how to purify water. You can only carry so many cans of soup, but knowledge is light and travels fast. Teach your young ones and friends this knowledge; forget counting on the spiritual powers, the lord only helps those who help themselves. Me; Democrat/Libertarian who voted for Romney

Whether constitutionalists can ever regain the federal government looks difficult - even establishment Republicans avoid the word "constitution." It seems there might be a better shot at regaining control of some states. State nullification of unconstitutional federal law, at the cost of losing federal dollars of course, would be one weapon in the armory.

I beg to differ #8. Bush canned a number of federal prosecutors who would not look into the subject. Which then brought about months and months of caterwauling from the dems and press about politically motivated firings.

Article finally settles down and sort of blames vote fraud. Eh. Maybe. Probably.
But the issue of civil war is something else entirely. Inevitable, no, but credibly possible and soon, maybe. Probably.
I would never, ever have imagined anything like this, even five years ago.

Erik gives a variation of Nader´s observation. The US is a one party state with two major parties.
Or, we have two parties which pretend to differ but act the same after election day.
Or something. And Nader was right. And Erik is right.
BUT! Why bash Romney? He is a decent guy. Or as decent as one can be in that filth.
He ran his campaign. He lost. Obscurity? So what? Maybe he is on a nice vacation.
Why did he lose? Fraud? Doesn´t matter. He lost.
Civil War? The real kind? Forget it. CW is madness. Beer talk. Idiocy.
Washington can´t be restrained or changed that way. It would emerge stronger and more tyrannical.
There is nothing Obama and the Washington establishment would like better than an excuse to simple kill millions they regard as undesirable.
Millions - who for convenience we could label RS, Red Staters - who object to the absolute state.
Anything like violent resistance plays into their strength. The large, well trained, and superbly equipped police and military. They can and do monitor communications and have total control of mass media.
The dozen or so influential conservatives like Rush Limbaugh could be arrested in minutes and in a secret prison by sundown.
In every political group of five in America one of you is a government informer.
You might say the outlook is grim. IMO "grim" is too optimistic.
What can be done instead? I don´t know. Yet trying what can´t work is worse.
The CFP is worth reading. A good rule is to ignore headlines. The writer doesn´t compose them.

Read (and watch on youtube) Catherine Austin Fitts "chrismartenson.com/blog" January 30, 2011: "Straight talk with Catherine Austin Fitts: We are the victims of a financial coup d´etat". At the end of the third paragraph she writes: "Finally, the members of the Administration have no way of guaranteeing their safety and the safety of their families if they defy orders of those who have the weaponry and power to enforce their will by any means necessary". Consider "by any means necessary" as applied to the actions of those who call themselves "government" at least since 1861.

Probably not civil war but maybe secession. I can see a state like Texas trying to secede. Would the Feds fight it? Sure but financially at first. They would stop all the government checks..SS, EPB cards, etc. SS could be handled since there is no money set aside for it anyway. The state would simply start holding the FICA funds it self. The same with the withholding taxes. They would go to the state itself.
Would it be allowed to happen? No. If the seceding state looked like it was going to be successful, you can bet that force would be used. Now whether the military could be made to kill Americans is another question. It didn´t stop them in 1861.

This civil war talk is silly. There are no "red" states and no "blue" states; there are states with a majority of red voters and states with a majority of blue voters. Some of them flip back and forth between election cycles. North Carolina went blue in 2008. It went red in 2012. Maybe it will flip again in four years.
Texas? 41.34% of Texans voted for Obama. Suppose they object to secession or civil war? What are the Texans who voted for Romney going to do with them? Shoot them? Force them out of the state at gunpoint? Order them to move to Michigan or Maine?

The southern states were just as divided in 1861. There are lots of records in my small home town about some of our citizens leaving to move up north when secession was voted for in Georgia. Some of these were prominent citizens who were adamantly against secession. The mountain counties here were pro-union and their delegates voted against secession.
Get enough people mad enough or despairing of what is happening to their country then add looming economic disaster and anything can happen.

Civil Wars are highly impracticable.
Do a modified Galt: Just move out of the cities, live simply, give up the two income model, have lots of kids (with a stay-at-home parent), teach them conservative values. Subsidize your adult children to do likewise.
Doing this you will counter the current demographic trends and also join the 47% who pay no net Federal taxes. Get that up to 85% and this will leave most of the Federal tax bill to the Rich Libs.

Children have always been political pawns where overbearing leftwing regimes are concerned. Political Science professor and small-time MSNBC weekend host Melissa Harris-Perry is tripping down the primrose path as carved out by the trademark lean-on-the-kids Barack and Mrs. Obama. For almost five years Barack Obama has talked almost exclusively to university and school children. Imperious, duck-the-adults Obama has his very own Youth Corps. With zero experience and zero charisma, Michelle Obama has remained stubbornly on school children’s’ lunch plate.

In midst of the modern, mindless battle to drive religion completely from American life, a small and inconvenient fact has been ignored: Virtually every important, original American idea is a product of Christianity. Further, had these doctrines never been developed, the US would arguably not been nearly as productive, free or happy. These ideas involve property, liberty, and the rule of law.Today the government bears down upon the Constitution, menacing the Bill of Rights and our entire way of life, offering to trade our freedoms for the supposed security of state control. If President Barack Obama is serious about pioneering a Congress-paid, $100-million mapping expedition into the human brain, he should seek the help of celebrated brilliant brain surgeon Dr. Ben Carson. But it’s far more likely that megalomanic Obama is only jumping onto the human brain study bandwagon because that’s where the increasingly popular Dr. Carson is. “Obama, who jokingly labeled himself “Scientist-in-Chief”, said the so-called BRAIN Initiative could create jobs and eventually lead to answers to ailments including Parkinson’s and autism and help reverse the effect of a stroke.

The new battle-cry to save a disappearing Republic should begin with the words: “Set our children free”. While the President Barack Obama-led Socialist regime in Washington calls the tune by keeping the bouncing ball over the concept of Government-Fighting-Patriots, the real battle is the one where it gets to take over your children. With all eyes trained expectantly on the latest Obama executive order; with the definition of one man, one woman marriage being rewritten by the Supreme Court, progressives in office have been working out the details to come up with a way to capture your children.

So rather than wait until Monday, Canada Free Press (CFP) is posing this cliff-hanger question: “Is that a Cyprus-style “Bail In” proposed in the newly-minted 2013 budget?” That’s what economic gunslingers on both sides of the border and dozens of letters to the editor are charging. What began as a rumble is growing into an ear-splitting cacophony—and the Canadian government should post a truthful, detailed and in-plain-English explanation on its website.

Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered.
