Brussels replaced its popular Christmas tree exhibit this year at the city center due to concerns that it may offend the local Muslim population. The Right Perspective reported: Government officials in Brussels, Belgium banned Wednesday a popular Christmas tree exhibit out of concerns that the local Muslim population found it “offensive." An “electronic winter tree,” will take the place of the traditional Christmas Tree and Nativity scene at the city center of Grand Place, reports Brussels News. The illusion of "Christian Europe" is dying. The substance of "Christian Europe" died long ago. Going with a cowardly whimper into that "Good Night", without protest or perhaps even recognition of what is happening.

Why would they be offended? If they don´t want to participate in the Christmas holidays, then don´t. But to expect the Christian people to give up their celebration is not acceptable. Why do governments & organizations give in to such nonsense, doesn´t make any sense.......unless they are trying to take over the world. Hmmm ya reckon that might be it, with the blessing of people in power all over the world? Politially correctness is going to destroy us all.

Back in the day (1977-1979) I used to be a flight attendant and we went to Brussels four times a month. Loved the city. At Christmas the most beautiful site was the tree lit up in the Square. They had live animals in the manger as well . Traditional and beautiful. I cannot tell you how sad this makes me feel. It can only be a matter of time before Germany falls to the same nonsense. What a bunch of weak -kneed milk toast cowards they are to give in to this . They are breeding and we are not. Simple as that.

Blame it on the Muslims, but this sort of thing has been happening for decades (even in my area) where Muslims are not a factor. Just fill in your favorite non-Christian group. And in the Turnabout-is-Fair-Play department - our local Evangelicals have gotten the school Halloween Carnival banned. It has been reincarnated as ´Fall Festival´ although no one bothers to dress up as say, a pilgrim.

I´d say in the case of Brussels it is the likely product of an unholy (and not unusual) alliance of Muslims and Post Christians (aka Atheists).

The whole world is preparing for the anti-Christ! We Christians must stand up and be counted! Jesus will return again for His own, then the world will be as it was before Jesus first came. His mission was to save us and was rejected by many back then even. Today we see the rise of Islam and they will be involved in the final battle where Jesus will prove His authority over the world He created. Satan is defeated!

Persecution has been suffered throughout the world for centuries, but now it is coming to the cities/towns/nations that once held up God´s Word and sent missionaries to the lost and now find themselves overcome too by Satan.

The governments have sought control and the anti-Christ will take over and determine who will live and who will die.

In this country we are also disregarding the Christ of Christmas and only seek the commercial advantage of gift giving. Jesus was/is the Perfect Gift, freely given, and forever present in those who "choose" to believe and then receive His Love/Grace eternally.

Pray for US and the world. Our children/grandchildren deserve better than what we are giving or leaving them.

Christians forgive - Muslims murder those who do not believe. There is no forgiveness in their religion. Jesus saves - Mohammed condemns.

CBS announcer Jim Nantz led off the network´s Masters coverage Saturday by describing what Tiger Woods did the day before on the 15th hole as an "innocent" and "absent-minded" mistake. CBS devoted the first 12 minutes of its broadcast from the Masters entirely to Woods, who was given a two-stroke penalty earlier in the day for a bad drop that led to his signing an incorrect scorecard after his second round. WASHINGTON – Retired as a city worker, Sheila Pugach lives in a modest home on a quiet street in Albuquerque, N.M., and drives an 18-year-old Subaru. Pugach doesn´t see herself as upper-income by any stretch, but President Barack Obama´s budget would raise her Medicare premiums and those of other comfortably retired seniors, adding to a surcharge that already costs some 2 million beneficiaries hundreds of dollars a year each. More importantly, due to the creeping effects of inflation, 20 million Medicare beneficiaries would end up paying higher "income related" premiums for their outpatient and prescription coverage over time.

Deepening the mystery of human origins, researchers Thursday offered the most complete view yet of fossils from a puzzling forerunner of humankind, revealing that these creatures were, from head to heel, a collage of primitive and modern anatomy. Singer Beyonce and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter traveled to Cuba “pursuant to an educational exchange trip” organized by an authorized company, the U.S. Treasury Department said in response to inquiries from Florida lawmakers. U.S. law prohibits financial transactions for tourist activities in Cuba to prevent funding of the government, which controls the industry. The Treasury permits visits for educational reasons.

Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.

Newtown killer Adam Lanza’s mother considered suing Sandy Hook Elementary School after teachers turned a blind eye to beatings from his classmates, a family member claims. The relative, speaking to the Daily News, claimed that mass murderer Lanza was taunted and attacked by fellow students at his childhood alma mater. “Nancy felt fiercely protective of him,” the relative said. “She was convinced the school wasn’t doing enough to protect Adam. It made her irate.” Nancy Lanza — gunned down by her 20-year-son to start his Dec. 14 rampage — even tagged along with Adam to school

TALLAHASSEE - Picture this: You´re in the left lane of the interstate, driving a little below the speed limit, when some guy zips up behind you and swerves past you on the right. Then you notice the blue lights flashing. You´re savoring the satisfaction of seeing a trooper actually nab an aggressive driver — until you realize it´s you he´s pulling over. This could happen, if not very often, under a major transportation package expected to be taken up in the Senate Appropriations Committee next week. Introduced by Sen. Jeff Brandes, a St. Petersburg Republican, the bill is a 173-page

Sally Bercow has snubbed an invitation to Margaret Thatcher´s funeral because she doesn´t want to ´be a hypocrite and join in this attempted canonisation of her´. The wife of Commons Speaker John Bercow declined the invitation to Wednesday´s service despite the wives of Ed Miliband, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown all being set to attend. In a statement issued today, she said: ´As Commons Speaker, John will be attending the funeral - and rightly so. But I´m not obliged to participate in my husband´s public life - last time I looked, this was the 21st century!

Hi. As you’ve probably noticed, I’m not the President. I’m just a citizen. And as a citizen, I’m here at the White House today because I want to make a difference and I hope you will join me. My name is Francine Wheeler. My husband David is with me. We live in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. David and I have two sons. Our older son Nate, soon to be 10 years old, is a fourth grader at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Our younger son, Ben, age six, was murdered in his first-grade classroom on December 14th.
