Romney´s sister speaks out about her
brother´s White House defeat

Mitt Romney´s eldest sister has spoken out about his pain at losing his bid for the White House - and has blamed her own family for not doing enough to help him secure a win. Jane Romney, a divorced mother-of-four and an actress who lives in Beverly Hills, has opened up to Inside Edition after staying mostly under the radar for her brother´s presidential campaign. ´I feel like our family could have helped more,´ she said, adding: ´But we were scared we´d be on the 6pm news, misspeaking.´ She also revealed the stunned reaction of both Romney and his wife, Ann, after learning he had been defeated

It was difficult for all of us who wanted Romney to be elected, but most difficult was knowing that an exceptionally good person lost to the Chicago Mob killing machine; very discouraging to be beaten in an unfair fight. Isn´t it amazing that Obama sells himself by espousing his belief in ´fairness´. What is fair about our government spending trillions more than they bring in? His success is built on the people losing the value of their savings. We are a house of cards built on lies.

I don´t think the problem was the family. If anything, I think Ann & the sons helped a lot. The problem was ORCA, some miscalculations about when to fight back by Mitt, stupid voters who didn´t turn up, voter fraud, Obama´s handouts and the mainstream media.

Mitt would have been such a good president. Now, all we have to look forward to is a disaster.

I don´t know if the Romneys were stunned because they lost or realized how stupid this country is. But he really shouldn´t beat himself up,there´s nothing he could do about 49% of the population being on some assistance.

I´m actually surprised our deficit isn´t higher than stated or we´re 2 trillion a year in the hole.

This is a perfect example of how republicans refuse to crack heads to win an election, while the left goes for the throat with no holds barred.

They don´t care if they have to yank a lying ad after it´s already done damage.Conversely,Romney got hammered for saying Chrysler is going to move Jeep production overseas, when Chrysler isn´t even American owned anymore and that plan is in the works.

How many people know that 70% of GM cars are made overseas as whole cars or parts? Yet Obama is a hero for saving a handful of those jobs. I´ll bet if you ran the numbers,it would be cheaper to pay those workers to stay home rather than subsidize their earnings.

Make no mistake about it,GM is going to need another bailout because they didn´t fix the rudimentary problems with the company.Romney will be proven right about a prepackaged bankruptcy.

The Volts were such a failure, they had to give them away and they´re probably sitting in garages, rotting.

I still have the very nagging feeling that Romney did not lose.

And even if he really did lost a correctly counted election with only legal voters voting once then he shouldn´t have. Romney´s record of success v Obama´s failure after failure is just stunning.

I could not be more disgusted and discouraged. I am investigating a digital cable for $75 to install on my TV - which might also work on my internet - and if I can make this work then I´m canceling Comcast. Also will be diverting other spending to conservative businesses or limiting it as much as possible. Starve the beast!

I´m still having a hard time accepting the outcome of this election.....I refuse to speak to my mother. She didn´t vote her interests and can´t believe I´m taking this so seriously. I even pointed out that the bush tax cuts are expiring, meaning unless she does something quick the gov´t will get 55% of her estate when she dies.
I have no doubt there was fraud...everything pointed to a Romney win. I have never felt as dispirited over an election....this was the last chance we had to elect a president who cared about the interests of the entire electorate.

#9, I´m questioning Romney´s loss, too. As columnist Ruth Marcus wrote in the Washington Post, a flip of about 150,000 votes in Florida, Ohio, Virginia and New Hampshire, and Romney would have won. That is, she says, one-tenth of one percent of the national vote.

Obama seemed awfully calm on election day when he said he was confident that he had the votes to win.

Colorado, PA, FL, OH, all finding counties with over 100% voter participation and 99% + going Dem. Clearly there was massive fraud.

Nothing will be done about it. The Obama administration is the most corrupt we´ve ever had and they benefited from the fraud. The media doesn´t care because they were campaigning for him anyway. The Republicans won´t do it because they´re too cowardly.

Who will tell the tale? Fox needs competition. Right. Now.

They literally stole the election. It doesn´t add up. Voter fraud is being exposed in CO,OH,PA,and FL. Romney should have contested them all! Why was he so weak about that? Why didn´t he fight for our country?! Why aren´t all those ate states being audited. All the polls wrong? In Obama´s favor? When they were all biased to begin with favoring Obama and yet Romney was ahead? What about all the lost/burnt/never got to the military votes? This stinks to ugh heaven. Enough about moving on! We need the election audited! Mitt didn´t fail, but he is now and he needs to get back in the game and have it audited. There´s enough proof to justify it.

Reply 20 - Posted by: EnsignO´Toole, 11/10/2012 6:20:24 PM     (No. 9005931)

I, too, can´t believe that Romney lost. There were several occurrences that make me suspicious. Paul Gable at Brushfires-of-Freedom explains how the voting machines can be rigged. He goes back to the 2004 election in Ohio. He says (I am paraphrasing) that "after the 2004 election, the Ohio legislature convened hearings on how someone could steal an Ohio election."

Paul states in his latest article:
The ´expert´ witness testifes to the Ohio legislators attending the hearing--almost all of whom appear to be Democrats--and explains that all that is necessary to rig elections is tabulating software that flips just enough votes to achieve a 51/49 split in favor of the candidate of choice. Very subtle; not visible at the precinct level; not ´brute force´ changing of votes in ways too obvious to be ignored; but a nice close 51/49 ´victory´ guaranteed. What´s the only thing that tips off the rigged vote? The expert witness says it would be inconsistency with polls--in his example, with exit polls.

I read another article, maybe at Breitbart, that the results could have been preplanned and that is why the polls were all coming in so close before the election. Obama´s win could then seem in line with the polls. Remember Obama´s team threatened to sue Gallop. That had to have put the fear of God into other pollsters.

My question is why did the US use 900 voting machines from Spain? I thought back to Michele´s trip to Spain in either 2009 or 2010. Could she have made a deal with the voting machine people back then? Since we don´t know where all the stimulus money went, maybe she took some of Obama´s stash with her.

I wish a lot of things, but I guess the ´good´ news Romney lost. If there was a media that wasn´t smug, liberal, democrats who think it kind of cute that many people in congress and at the highest levels of this administration, are avowed Marxists, BHO would never have had a first term. If there was an accurate voting process and if voters were tracked so bussed in union dupes didn´t vote in crucial counties, BHO might have lost. In the end Mitt would have been doomed by the forces that promoted and give cover to a completely unqualified President. Decades of pandering by both parties and gigantic rip offs by special interest groups have destroyed our economy and will destroy every dollar you have or hope to have in the next 4 years. Zombies believe we will be able to handle greater than depression unemployment and world wide debt levels humans have never seen. They are just buying time while they loot from the inside. You will know civilization has a chance when every TV news show is as critical and as intense on their coverage of democrats everywhere as they were with Bush´s time in office. I don´t think that will happen with the generation that ´shape´ the news AND entertainment today.

Reply 22 - Posted by: anonymous, 11/10/2012 6:44:18 PM     (No. 9005979)

I don´t think any one factor can be blamed for Romney´s loss. There are many things that combined to produce the result: the advantage of incumbency, Hurricane Sandy, the effective demonization of Romney re his tax returns etc. It´s all in the mix of the critical mass which produced the result on election day.

Actually, she is backing off. Here’s the thing about her now-famous MSNBC promo: Either she’s saying something radical or she’s saying something so banal that it’s barely even worth saying. The radical interpretation is that she thinks parents should have less say over how their children are raised and that “communities” should have a larger role. The very, very banal interpretation is that she thinks communities should do more to improve children’s lives and that thinking of them as “our children” might help forge that mentality. The money line in the promo that pointed to the radical interpretation

Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes.
