Christie calls Obama
to congratulate, emails
Romney condolences

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Justin Sink

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said that he had called President Obama to congratulate him on his win in the 2012 presidential election — but has only sent an email to Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee for whom he campaigned heavily earlier this year. “We didn’t have a political strategy discussion,” Christie said of his call to Obama, according to Bloomberg. “I said congratulations on your win last night Mr. President, he said thank you governor.” Christie added that he had sent an email to Romney on Wednesday night. "We haven't spoken on the phone yet," he continued.

Wow. How low class can you get. The true Christie is now revealed. How sickening.

Not a surprise really. The problem is, unlike the Dems who are either left wing zealots, or just nuts, the GOP, in their desire to be "inclusive" allow Democrats to masquerade as Republicans and force the party to slowly march step to the left.

It is examples like these that will make folks like me do what I can to see a credible, conservative third party born.

As things get worse and worse under Obama and people start really suffering, if Christie tries to run again as a republican all the democrats have to do is run a few ads of him with Obama and it's curtains.

I figured he brought Obama in to Jersey to get some FEMA help (which he didn't get--more fool he----20 minute photo op for Obama and then onto Air Force 1.) And then the TEARS when he spoke to Springsteen via the Obama phone. I hoopoe this man has a solid DEMOCRATIC constituency if he decides to run for a major office---I sure as H--- won't every consider him!!!!!! At least I know his true colors. He is dead to me.

In regard to politicians and natural disasters - I lived in Wichita Falls, Tx when the 1979 tornado hit. This disaster is studied even today in preparedness plans. Our U.S. Senator, John Tower, took a direct flight (undoubtably paid for by a local businessman) landing at Shepherd AFB. He wasn't there for a photo op. He worked, the story is told, 36 straight hours after arriving the night of the storm. He cut every piece of red tape that could be cut. I woke the next morning with the arrival of heavy equipment carried on trucks to begin clean-up. President Carter never showed. The governor came over in a helicopter. In hindsight, if they weren't able to do get their hands dirty no one needed them there for a handshake or hug.

Pool time! Get your money out. When will Christie switch parties? Before the end of the year? Shortly before the deadline for filing as a candidate in the democrat NJ gubernatorial primary in 2013?

Does he see himself as the strongest possible potential candidate in the 2016 Democrat presidential primary? Does he see his path to Pennsylvania Avenue leading through the Democrat Party? What if he just bought Obama's endorsement for 2016?

Better than television.

#44, Fat Boy could have thanked Zippy (For doing the job he is supposed to do anyway) and smiled for a picture with him. But instead he was slobberingly disgusting with his effusive praise for something Zippy should not have to be asked to do. After all, New Jersey was and is a Blue state and was safe for Zippy. Its not like he was going to risk alienating the voters of one of his locked up statea anyway. Fat Chuck Hagel. Love that description #24! Christie is a pig. And I will riducule him for his weight because I bet he is lazy as well. A little self-discipline and I bet he could easily drop 50-75 lbs.

I've been there, done that. Never got nearly as fat as him, but I did drop about 30 lbs and have kept it off for five years. Was it easy? No, I have to work out every day AND change my eating habits. Again, it just shows his self-discipline, just like his turn-coat actions.

Gotta figure her lead would be even bigger without Joe Miller in the field here. Her nomination for the taking? Alaska should be a top tier pick up opportunity for Senate Republicans next year…but their top choice of a candidate is Sarah Palin. 36% of GOP primary voters in the state say they’d like Palin to be their standard bearer against Mark Begich to 26% for Mead Treadwell, 15% for Dan Sullivan, and 12% for Joe Miller.

Many low-income families receive government assistance to help them purchase food and housing. Diapers are another story, a new study suggests. In what they are calling the first peer-reviewed study to quantify diaper need, Yale University researchers have found nearly a third of mothers cannot afford to purchase their infants diapers, raising health risks for not only babies but for moms who become stressed over the finances. "Notably absent from the antipoverty efforts targeting families is an essential staple for the health of children, diapers," wrote the researchers, led by Dr. Megan Smith,

Mideast: The sequester has "cost jobs," says President Obama, and "gutted investments in education and science and medical research." But somehow he´s earmarked $500 million for Hamas terrorists. Circumventing Congress and with no fanfare, President Obama last week issued an executive order enabling him to send an additional $500 million directly to the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank — much of which you can bet will wind up going to the Iranian-backed Hamas terrorist organization. According to Obama, "it is important to the national security interests of the United States to waive the provisions of" Congress´ legislative restrictions "in

The mother of Trayvon Martin said Monday that she believed Florida’s Stand Your Ground law played a role in her son’s shooting death, but she wasn’t ready to support a boycott of the state for not changing the self-defense law. “The thing about this law is I just think it assisted the person who killed my son to get away with murder,” Sybrina Fulton, the mother of the 17-year-old from Miami Gardens, said at a National Bar Association event in Miami Beach. “I think we have to change these laws so people don’t get

A group of experts advising the nation’s premier cancer research institution has recommended sweeping changes in the approach to cancer detection and treatment, including changes in the very definition of cancer and eliminating the word entirely from some common diagnoses. (Snip) The group, which includes some of the top scientists in cancer research, also suggested that many lesions detected during breast, prostate, thyroid, lung and other cancer screenings should not be called cancer at all but should instead be reclassified as IDLE conditions, which stands for “indolent lesions of

Karl Rove and more than one hundred Republican donors sent a letter to Republican members of Congress on Tuesday, urging them to pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill that would include, among other provisions, granting "legal status" to illegal aliens who meet certain criteria. Anticipating that lawmakers will face resistance to the bill when they go home for the August recess, the letter marks the escalation of a campaign in which Republican leaders and donors are pressuring House Republicans to act on an immigration reform bill.

President Obama has been rolling up his sleeves campaigning across the country delivering a surreal stump speech message supposedly aimed at the middle class: big government works, Obamacare is manna from heaven, the wave of recent scandals are “phony” figments of the imagination, and all economic problems are the fault of the Republicans. Conveniently, he leaves out the bankruptcy of Detroit, a city run by his own party for more than half a century. His message is so stale and unconvincing, that even The New York Times and Washington Post have noticed. Both papers, usually loyal to Obama, remarked that
