Longoria 'in tears'
when Obama won

Politico, by Kevin Cirilli

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 11/8/2012 1:29:54 PM

Actress Eva Longoria got emotional when President Barack Obama was reelected Tuesday night. “I was in tears,” Longoria, an Obama campaign co-chair, said Wednesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “I thought it would be a longer night. So, we were prepared. And I was just in tears. And I was so excited because we did work very hard for the campaign.” The “Desperate Housewives” star added that it was a victory for the middle class. “It just shows that, you know, the middle class, you know, won. And these super PACs didn't get to buy the election.

Comments:
What a vacuous moron. I was in tears too when 0bama won for exactly the opposite reason. I hope she enjoys paying more in taxes. Oh that's right, those idiots have money to burn. She earned $400,000 per episode for Desperate Housewives. Stunning.

It's a good thing all these Hollywood creeps have already made their millions. I suspect by showing their blind love for Obama, they have lost a huge portion of their audience forever. I can hardly stand to watch a movie or listen to music I once liked since I've seen the soul of those behind them.

Well, this is one way to handle corruption and government abuse: Make it the official thing to do. A group of Democratic senators urged the Obama administration on Thursday to cap the amount of political activity that tax-exempt 501(c)(4) groups can engage in at 5 to 15 percent. The 15 senators, in public comments on a proposed regulation change that grew out of the IRS targeting controversy, said that the rules need to ensure that 501(c)(4)s can’t use their tax-exempt status to go around campaign finance rules. “You will undoubtedly receive complaints from certain corners that these proposed rules will

White House records reveal the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has completed its review of the DOJ rule, one of 23 executive actions ordered by President Obama more than a year ago in response to the 2012 shooting massacre in Newtown, Conn. The exact timing of the planned action was not clear Friday afternoon. The final rule sets out three changes to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), created 20 years ago in an effort to keep guns out of the wrong hands. The updated regulations will grant tribal police access to NICS and authorize law enforcement agencies to use

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is scrapping a controversial study about newsroom practices. “The FCC will not move forward with the Critical Information Needs study," an agency spokesman said Friday, referring to an FCC study that would have involved going into U.S. newsrooms to examine their editorial practices. The backlash to the study grew after a Republican on the FCC, Ajit Pai, published an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal warning that the agency "plans to send researchers to grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decide which stories to run." Newly released documents from the Clinton Presidential Library reveal that Hillary Clinton and her aides have been struggling to manage her media image since the early days of her husband’s administration.
