Scarborough To Republicans:
'Stop Blaming The Media'

Newsbusters, by Mark Finkelstein

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 11/8/2012 8:34:17 AM

Should Republicans unilaterally disarm in the media-bias wars? Joe Scarborough seems to think so. Arguing that it distracts Republicans from performing the political blocking-and-tackling needed to win elections, Scarborough has called on Republicans to "stop blaming the media." Saying "let's makes this personal," Scarborough cited as an example of the supposed distractions to which he was referring the controversy over the tape Morning Joe aired in September from a Romney campaign stop. Readers will recall that the clip seemed to show Romney asking the crowd, which had been chanting "Romney!", to change to "Romney/Ryan."

Joe thinks he is relevant. The only people who watch his show are leftists and a few RHINOS. His show is the excuse the left uses to prove they are open minded and see both sides. Just remember he works for MSNBC.

The media bias war may be the single most important battle Republicans MUST fight. Obama would never have won if the media had done its job. The cover up of the true scope of the Hurricane Sandy tragedy is criminal. Most of the nation believes that other than a few downed trees and some watyer in the subways Sandy was no big deal. Its not in the news so the response must have been a resounding success. Thanks to Obama of course.

The reality is far different, and with 500,000 still without power and a nasty bitter cold snowy noreaster hitting yesterday and today the misery of millions is compounded.

NY City is a disaster, and the media ignore it so the Won can look "presidential". Disgraceful.

The reality is the Republicans have a huge problem with the press. The supposed demographic shift can be attributed in part to this propoganda machine, control what the masses are allowed to know and you can control how they think.

We must find some way to destry the MSM, not balance out, destroy. They are the single most dangerous enemy a free America has today.

Reply 10 - Posted by: donnaclaire, 11/8/2012 9:18:28 AM     (No. 8999085)

Joe, you are so, so wrong. Your media consistently and purposefully doesn't tell the "whole story" and scraps reports which do not favor 'your/their' candidate. That is dishonest and unfair to the American people. The truth is the truth is the truth. We Americans deserve it - whether you think so or not.

And, Joe, - once again - we hardly knew ye! What the hell happened anyway?? You and Chrissie would be good together on your own show and could make beautiful music together. I won't be watching, but 'go for it'.

I'm sorry but the second Media stopped reporting the news and began telling "the narrative", was when they stopped being neutral. The media is the first big fat target to be destroyed before the next election in 2014 so a Crowley doesn't get to moderate another debate. Looking back we can all see that the media has always been biased toward the left. What Republicans need to do is start effectively fighting back which will mean not accepting their horribly biased questions. Wouldn't it have been fun if Palin had asked Charlie Gipson "Why the frowny face?" or "Are you feeling okay?" when he was sneering down his nose at her? Almost everyone watching would have cheered - we all like to see a snot taken down a peg. What if when Candy Crowley jumped in to save 0bama, Romney had quipped that maybe she would like to join 0bama at the podium and an audience member could take her moderator's seat? You can't fight the evil in the world if you're unwilling to fight the likes of Charlie and Candy.

I have never that show, whatever it is. I don't watch any of the popular media because it plays to a low common denominator. The internet is easy to filter for maximum content. Lucianne is one of my favorites because of this. But the popular media is the enemy of liberty. It is a strong force in the face of freedom. It is extremely biased and corrupt. But it doesn't share all the blame.
If Romney really did get less votes than Mcain't then we really deserve zipp0.

Survey: Ronald Reagan would

If presidential politics ever involved time travel, President Obama might be in a little trouble. If an election between Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama were held today, 58% would vote for Reagan over Obama, according to a survey of 1,000 Americans age 18 and older conducted by Kelton Research for the National Geographic Channel. Though when the field is narrowed to people ages 18-34 -- those either too young to have known Reagan as president or too young to remember much -- the gap shrinks to 51% in favor of Reagan.

Mitch McConnell and some consultants disparaging Ashley Judd is not news. It´s the sausage being made. We´ve got full background here, but the toplines are this: Corn got hold of a conversation apparently recorded during a presentation by consultants to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell´s reelection campaign. The consultants were opposition researchers, hired by the campaign to ferret out damaging information about actress Ashley Judd, who at one point considered running against McConnell.
