Fox News is killing the Republican party

| For me there was no doubt about the high point of Wednesday morning's election coverage. At about four o’clock I flicked over to Fox to see how the good folks there were managing their grief. I was greeted by what – even by Fox standards – was an amazing sight. Karl Rove had become embroiled in a heated debate with his own network about their decision to call Ohio and the Presidency for Barack Obama. It was too early, he said. There were still lots of votes to be counted. They had to be right, not first.

LMAO!! It's the exact OPPOSITE! The MSM is doing everything they can to "kill" the Republican Party. Fox news is a single cable news network trying to present BOTH sides--and if it isn't "powerful" enough to get Republicans elected, it can't be powerful enough to "kill" the party.
Dumb arses.

Locally they're the same as the 'big 3.'
Nationally their 'Fair and Balanced' TV gives the Liberals and Ds another platform and a larger audience.[not counting the biases of their reporters and commentators]
I have NOT put Fox or any TV news on since the election ....... may never do so again ......... have been getting my news from internet [but not Fox internet].
**IMPORTANT Fox internet webpage has changed their method of sending e-mail of articles, so that you can no longer do so WITHOUT signing up with Google or Yahoo e-mail service ......... talk about 'personal privacy issues' and network services 'TRACKING' the articles you choose to save or send to friends.

Fox News is a great media outlet since there are so many that are bias...overtly progressive, liberal, and leftist...more so post-election. Karl Rove did a great job and I have confidence in him. America has moved to the left of center in the last two elections. Citizens are more immoral and careless.

The way I see it, Fox News, though not perfect, at least acts as a counterbalance to all the alphabets which are not above spiking stories like Benghazi. The Republican party isn't dead, at least not the conservative segment. There is a healthy conversation going on about what unites us and how conservatism can apply to society. What we saw in the TEA party rallies and the Romney/Ryan gatherings is not a fad, but a true grassroot movement. The other side is unified by a gimme spirit that wants to soak the rich (at least the non-progressive rich) whether or not it is a viable way to deal with the real problem of national debt. When they start running out of other people's money, they'll start going after each other.
No, Fox News isn't killing the Republican party. Instead, it is the Soros-led progressives of the Democratic party that has killed politics in America by making presidential elections hereafter about who can bribe Takers with more goodies paid for by fewer and fewer Makers.

No, the inside the beltway republican establishment is killing the GOP.
This establishment has given us every POTUS nominee since Reagan, and the only one who was moderately successful (Bush 43) greatly expanded the federal govt. with his policies. These actions, coupled with the poorly managed overreach into Iraq, led to GOP fatigue and gave us oblamer.
Every single one of these establishment types must go. They have a long and proven record of mediocrity and failure. Enough.

How out of touch is the GOP you ask? They ran Tommy Thompson for senate in Wisconsin. Michele Bachmann barely hung on in Minnesota. This will surely be her last term. Allen West was ousted in Florida an a fine conservative intellect like Mia Love from Utah could not get elected. While all that was happening JJ Jackson Jr was reelected from his `hospital room` and Allen Grayson is now back in Congress.
We are truly a one party nation. Romney won the heartland, nothing else. The big population coastal states wan everything for free an are getting it - until the producers stop producing that is. See GreeceSpain, etc.
Enough said....

That and a campaign that had a soundbite of something like. 'I'm going to repeal Obamacare.' instead of we need practical reform of healthcare for all Americans, including congress. Oh, and fumbling the ball over blatant, effective, voter fraud since JFK 'beat' Nixon in 1960.

More than 3,300 crosses, Stars of David and Islamic symbols were installed on the National Mall Thursday as peace activists created a mock cemetery to honor victims of gun violence. Organizers said the number of markers was chosen to honor the victims of gun violence who have died since the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. At 11:30 a.m., religious leaders from across the country -- including some from Newtown -- began a 24-hour vigil among the grave markers, a protest aimed at lawmakers as they began to vote on a set of new gun restrictions.

Like a lot of high school sophomores, 15-year-old Ashley Baldwin found a job. Baldwin, however, wasn´t working retail or fast-food. She was doing ultrasounds, administering intravenous medicine and, ultimately, assisting in abortions performed by West Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell. Baldwin, now 22, and the mother of a two-year-old, today told a Philadelphia jury hearing Gosnell´s murder trial of her unusual hands-on medical apprenticeship. She also told of seeing at least five aborted babies moving, breathing and, in one case, "screeching," after procedures at Gosnells´ Women´s Medical Society clinic at 3801 Lancaster Ave.

The House Republican campaign chief came under fire from senior members of his own party on Thursday after he split with party leaders in criticizing a Social Security change in President Obama’s budget that Republicans have long sought. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, on Wednesday called a proposed cut to Social Security a “shocking assault on seniors,” hours after Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) had praised the president for offering the same policy change, known as chained CPI.

Massachusetts prosecutors are dropping charges against a disgraced former Newton elementary school teacher who had been accused of sexually assaulting three children, saying they’re content to let him serve out a 45-year federal child-porn sentence — and that the victims’ families didn’t want to force their children into painful trial testimony. David Ettlinger, 35, will not be prosecuted on charges he abused two children in Suffolk County and one in Middlesex County, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. The State Department has acknowledged that five U.S. personnel killed in Afghanistan, including 25-year-old diplomat Anne Smedinghoff, were on foot when they were attacked by a suicide bomber, and not in an armored vehicle, as officials had told bereaved relatives earlier this week. The violent deaths of U.S. diplomatic personnel — and the State Department’s changing account of how they died — harken back to the debacle in Benghazi, Libya, where Islamist extremists killed four Americans in assaults on the U.S. diplomatic compound on Sept. 11. “We are able to clarify at this point that they were

Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic front-runner in the Virginia gubernatorial race, once made an outlandish claim that would make Mitt Romney cringe. At a debate during his failed 2009 campaign, McAuliffe declared he “created over 100,000 jobs—good-paying jobs with benefits and good wages. That’s what I’ll do as governor.” A Democratic rival scoffed that McAuliffe apparently had created more jobs than Microsoft´s Bill Gates. McAuliffe’s campaign on Wednesday did not respond directly to questions about whether he stands by the 100,000 jobs—the same number Republican presidential nominee Romney struggled to defend in the 2012 campaign.

They wanna give me jail time and a fine. Fine, let me commit a real crime.´ The song also includes lyrics boasting of his friendship with President Obama, adding: ´Obama said, ´Chill you´re going to get me impeached´

WASHINGTON— Gun control supporters have won the first Senate showdown over restricting firearms, rejecting an effort by conservatives to derail a package of gun curbs before debate could even begin. The 68-31 vote gave an initial burst of momentum to efforts by President Barack Obama and lawmakers, mostly Democrats, to impose gun restrictions following the December carnage at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn. Gun control supporters needed 60 votes to block the conservatives. The legislation would subject more firearms buyers to federal background checks, strengthen laws against illicit gun trafficking and increase school safety aid.

The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.
