Chris Christie lashes out at
'know-nothing disgruntled Romney
staffers' who criticised him for
refusing to attend campaign rally
with Mitt after Hurricane Sandy

Daily Mail (UK), by Hugo Gye

Original Article

Posted By:pineledger, 11/8/2012 5:20:57 AM

Chris Christie has been under fire from Republican insiders ever since he he performed a U-turn and started praising Barack Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy last week. And now the governor of New Jersey has lashed out at anonymous aides to Mitt Romney who have criticised him for refusing to attend fundraising events for the GOP presidential candidate. The outspoken figure, a strong supporter of Romney over the past year, described his critics as 'know-nothing, disgruntled Romney supporters' who did not respect the duty he owed to the people of his state.

Comments:
I will never, under any circumstance, cast a vote for Chris Christie.

I don't want Christie or Rubio. The only person I have faith in right now is Jindal and I pray he's our next nominee.

It's funny how McCain got more votes than Romney and I'll bet it was because of Palin. Yet she was snubbed by the establishment and not allowed to speak at the convention.

The Ryan VP pick bought absolutely nothing to the ticket. He doubled down on Romney's supposed strength and scared people into thinking there was going to be massive spending cuts along with SS and Medicare being rewritten.

I said back in 2010 when Angle was running and making privatization of SS her main issue, was a huge mistake. Republicans are fools to keep bringing up entitlement reform when it only means old people's programs., If entitlements are the issue, make it welfare and getting rid of this stupid birthright thing that enables the mom to loot the system.

Leave effin old people out of the conversation. These people are self funded with the payroll tax.People working 3 months a year and getting 5 grand back on earned income is stupid and opens the door to fraud like crazy.Working single women use a welfare recipients kids SS numbers to steal earned income money and of course an Obama led government couldn't care less.

Christie is a social liberal who became a temporary rising UTube star in the Republican party mainly because he was cleverly snarky with the teachers union in NJ. This election was more important than the 'people of New Jersey' and far more important than Christie's re-election prospects.

Wonder if the machines in the battleground states were already stacked or messed with before the doors were opened on election day or maybe many fraudulent absentee votes were added to the tally in all these states? We know how down and dirty Chicago is and we know Axelrod was adament that he would NOT have to shave his mustache off. Why were the two most respected pollster, Gallup and Rasmussen, wrong on election day? They have never been wrong in the last several presential elections, especially Rasmussen? Why was it such a shock when none of the Repubs candidates won in any of these states except two who were far ahead, and it would look suspicious if they did not win? I truly believe, and I don't know how, but the election was stolen. Remember those pollster in PA who kicked out the Repub pollster judge for a couple of hours or more in the am before voting until a judge ordered them back in? What were they doing those hours without supervision? Ulstermann mentioned something about this and showed all the data and could not believe with all the different categories going for Romney that he lost, he believes that some Repubs had to be involved, but I do not believe that, it was the CHICAGO MAFIA, I truly believe! Sure, it's a cliche "the election was stolen", but WONDER IF THIS TIME IT WERE TRUE? Just saying!

One of the themes yesterday was how the next four years we on the Right get to say "I told you so"......

Well, for four years I have SCREAMED about Christie NOT being a conservative, nor even the best man for the job in NJ, or even promulgating legislation that will work. I WAS SHOUTED DOWN.

I told you so.

Eh, it doesn't feel good. I'd rather have my Country back.

Please remember CC"S perfidy when the next Perfect Republican comes along.

OH don't worry about Christie being the presidential nominee next time because he will simply be the VP pick to get the NE vote. NO our brilliant Republican leaders will choose Jeb Bush and force him on us! Why? Because he has inroads in the Hispanic community and the right views on immigration, he was governor of Florida with one of the largest Hispanic populations, and well his father and brother were president soooo it will then be his turn. So just relax and let the Republican Establishment take us down the same road election after election.

Dittos to #9. This election result just didn't make sense in so many ways. Remember, Obama came out of ACORN, whose whole purpose is to steal votes. Obama had full 1000% from unions, another organization who has a long history of stealing elections. Holder made sure there were no photo requirements for voting, which fight vote fraud. Hopefully someone will be digging into and analyzing the results. Yes, it's hard to imagine 3-4 million stolen votes. No, it's not impossible, but if it happened, there will be a trail, if someone is seriously looking for it.

Gov. Christie is getting a lot, a lot of flak and hate directed towards him. He is a large target due to his embrace of Obama. Many think he was used by our kenyan guy. Sweet words were sung into his ears by Mr. Asbury Park Springsteen, an august sage who will always see the truth, right?

Reminds me of Hanoi Jane sitting on that gun mount, or Kerry saluting as he "reported for duty" but others who actually were in a war with him called him dangerous, phony and even cowardly.

Chris has joined an "elite" group of dummies only he is too stupid to realize it...for now. Perhaps with some couch time, a shrink might be able to penetrate his refusal to realize his "needs" as manifested by his embraces, both in food and that neo-marxist guy who let him fly in Marine I.

Perhaps...but don't bet on it!

Next election? 0bama wins the next two easily. Yes, I said it. Why? Because eight years is simply not enough time to fix the mess he inherited. It won't be long before the left starts yammering about doing away with the two term limit on the office of the POTUS. Tuesday's result proves that there are more than enough idiots in this once great country for them to get away with it. Harry Reid should start pushing for a $30T debt ceiling right away, because that's where we'll be by the end of the won's fourth term.

I'm with # 9. 0 knew that the election day totals would be "fixed" in his favor, maybe by numerous ways. That's why he wasn't concerned in the first debate. He knew the election was going to be his regardless. The better performance in the next two was only window dressing because they hadn't anticipated the public noticing.

Washington--One in five people who signed up for health insurance under the new health care law failed to pay their premiums on time and therefore did not receive coverage in January, insurance companies and industry experts say. Paying the first month’s premium is the final step in completing an enrollment. Under federal rules, people must pay the initial premium to have coverage take effect. In view of the chaotic debut of the federal marketplace and many state exchanges, the White House urged insurers to give people more time, and many agreed to do so. But, insurers said, some people missed

DENVER — Helping the terminally ill end their lives, condemned for decades as immoral, is gaining traction. Banned everywhere but Oregon until 2008, it is now legal in five states. Its advocates, who have learned to shun the term “assisted suicide,” believe that as baby boomers watch frail parents suffer, support for what they call the “aid in dying” movement will grow further. In January, the New Mexico Supreme Court authorized doctors to provide lethal prescriptions and declared a constitutional right for “a competent, terminally ill patient to choose aid in dying.” Last May, the Vermont Legislature passed a law

Washinton--A Congressional Budget Office analysis released Tuesday predicted that the Affordable Care Act would shrink the work force by the equivalent of more than two million full-time positions and recharged the political debate over the health care law, providing Republican opponents fresh lines of attack and putting Democrats on the defensive. Secretary of State John Kerry must be really desperate to win the Nobel Peace Prize. So much so, he seems willing to continually force the state of Israel into untenable positions that put its security at risk. On this very topic last month, Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon said Kerry "came here very determined and operates based upon an unfathomable obsession and Messianic feeling . . . "Throughout the recent months, there is no negotiation between us and the Palestinians, but rather between us and the Americans. The only thing that can ´save´ us is that John Kerry will

War On Banks: Attorney General Eric Holder has opened up a new front against car lenders and has forged an alliance with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to frame them for racism, too. We don´t use the term "frame" capriciously, certainly not like Holder uses the charge of racism. His department and the president´s new consumer credit watchdog agency, CFPB, have announced a new settlement with Ally Bank for nearly $100 million. It´s the largest fair lending deal against the auto industry and the third-largest ever to resolve charges of lending discrimination. Throw in four new mortgage-lender settlements over equally

Misregulation: The president´s new consumer credit czar is doing a victory lap in the media over new mortgage rules, which go into effect this week. He claims they´ll stop another crisis. What a screaming joke. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray chirped during an interview on the "Daily Show With Jon Stewart" that the new rules are a "big change from the status quo" and will take mortgage banking back to the days of prudent lending. (Snip) Despite all the hype of tightening underwriting, CFPB´s celebrated new mortgage rules in fact require no minimum down payment or credit score

Mel Watt hadn’t even been sworn in as the head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency when at 9 p.m. on the Friday before Christmas he e-mailed reporters from his personal account saying he would put on hold planned increases in fees Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FMCC) charge for insuring mortgage securities. With a three-sentence message, he signaled a break from his predecessor and hinted at how he’ll shape the future of the two firms that guarantee about 60 percent of new U.S. mortgages. Americans who are buying insurance plans over online exchanges, under what is known as Obamacare, will have limited access to some of the nation’s leading hospitals, including two world-renowned cancer centres. Amid a drive by insurers to limit costs, the majority of insurance plans being sold on the new healthcare exchanges in New York, Texas, and California, for example, will not offer patients’ access to Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan or MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, two top cancer centres, or Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, one of the top research and teaching hospitals in the country. Konstantin Kakaes had a lot of good evidence to work with for his article debunking the promise of Amazon’s drone deliveries. The FAA doesn’t allow autonomous flight. Drones are too small and unreliable. They’ll cost Amazon a fortune to maintain and oversee. Kakaes had so many facts in his favor, but he left out a big one: Birds are going to hate these drones.(Snip)The difference for Amazon’s drones is that the birds will be chasing them. Unseen to us, the skies are checkered with fiercely defended bird territories. Open-country raptors—hawks, eagles, kites, harriers, etc.—don’t take kindly to interlopers on their

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush said Sunday that he will base his decision on whether to run for president in 2016 on whether he thinks he can mount a campaign that would transcend the modern-day mechanics of such a run. Bush, the second-oldest son of former president George H. W. Bush and younger brother of George W. Bush, spoke at an event marking the 25th anniversary of his father´s presidency at the library and museum that bears the patriarch´s name. The event was closed to reporters, but moderated by Fox News anchor Shannon Bream and portions of the event were later

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush said Sunday that many who illegally come to the United States do so out of an "act of love" for their families and should be treated differently than people who illegally cross U.S. borders or overstay visas. The comments came during an event marking the 25th anniversary of the presidency of George H. W. Bush at the library and museum that bears the name of the Bush patriarch.

Why does Hillary Clinton hate America? That is the question that should be on everyone’s mind as she embarks on a worldwide tour to plug her forthcoming memoir. Check out this THE POLITICO article [emphasis mine]: Hillary Clinton discussed her work at the State Department, called for young women not to take criticisms personally and rapped the media for treating powerful women with a double standard at the kickoff of “Women in the World” in New York City Thursday night. Kathryn Riffenburg decided on a closed casket for her baby´s funeral. She didn´t want her family to see what whooping cough, her son´s first illness, had done to 9-week-old Brady Alcaide. The nearly forgotten disease, which has in recent years afflicted thousands of Americans, left Brady´s tiny body swollen and unrecognizable. So his mother dressed him in a white baptismal suit and hat and tucked him into a tiny white casket. Brady´s burial came just four weeks after his first laugh — inspired by her version of I´m a Little Teapot — and two weeks after his family learned that he had

In Dearborn, Mich., home to over 40,000 Americans of Arab descent, some Muslim parents have complained about flyers handed out at public schools advertising an Easter egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church. The Muslim parents assert that the flyers – emblazoned with the word “Eggstravaganza!” – violate the separation of church and state widely ascribed to the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, reports the Detroit Free Press. Students at three Dearborn elementary schools received the flyers. A large number of Muslim students attend the schools. The “Eggstravaganza!” is scheduled to take place on April 12 event at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church

Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing

When friends and family members gathered recently at the White House for a private celebration of Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday, one of the invited partygoers was a former paid FBI Mafia informant. That same man attended February’s state dinner in honor of French President Francois Hollande. He was seated with his girlfriend at a table adjacent to President Barack Obama, who is likely unaware that, according to federal agents, his guest once interacted with members of four of New York City’s five organized crime families. He even secretly taped some of those wiseguys using a briefcase that FBI technicians outfitted

The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. COLLEGE STATION, Tex. — With eyes increasingly on him, Jeb Bush signaled on Sunday the kind of campaign he would mount if he runs for president, one arguing against ideological purity tests while challenging party orthodoxy on issues like immigration and education. Even as he sharply criticized President Obama for his handling of foreign affairs and health care, Mr. Bush made clear that he would run against the style of politics that has characterized recent Republican nominating contests. He said he would decide by the end of the year, in part on whether he thinks he could avoid “the vortex of
