We will know tomorrow. If Paul Ryan can get 9 thousand people to show up in MN and Biden only gets 1 thousand in CO, it just doesn't make sense. The crowd sizes mean something don't they? In 2008 we all knew before the election that BO would win, McCain was a terrible candidate, and I voted against BO. whereas Romney has been very good, positive and I want to vote for him. There is a difference.

#2 - According to Brit Hume yesterday, crowd size doesn't necessarily mean much. But, I think this year is different. There were only 9,000 at this event because it was at capacity and another 1,000 turned away. Also, notice the pics posted along in the article were from an ABC affiliate. Nice. There are some encouraging comments at the end of the article as well from residents of MN.
Sounds like people are "mad as hell, and not gonna take it anymore"!

I'm so happy to read that Ryan drew a huge crowd! Good luck to Minnesota from a Wisconsinite and former MN resident.
Minneapolis has a huge gay population and will turn out in droves to vote on the marriage amendment. A "yes" vote on the amendment is AGAINST gay marriage and a "no" vote is FOR it. To make things worse (and more confusing), if a ballot is used but the marriage amendment is not voted either way, it'll be recorded as a "no" vote -- FOR gay marriage. God help us all.

President Obama’s big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy, there were “empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena … Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that …” The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldn’t fill it out. As it turns out, the empty seats didn’t look exactly “scattered.” They looked like substantial portions of the upper bowl of the arena, according to photos tweeted by those in attendance:

Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday struggled to draw 1,000 people at two campaign events in Colorado, one of the most important swing states this election. Republicans in Colorado have said they have not seen this much enthusiasm for the top of a Republican ticket in a decade, which is a contrast from Democrats, who are seeing a diminished level of enthusiasm from 2008. The Illinois Republican party claims early and absentee voting has precipitously fallen since the 2008 presidential election. According to the numbers, at this point in 2008, there were 260,376 early voters and 304,290 absentee voters. Now, the party maintains, there are 195,064 early voters and 46,232 absentee voters. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
